Great video. But you don't have pair a Galaxy device to another Galaxy you do that. You pair only if you're sending to another Android device from a different oem. The easier way is to select the files you want to share, tap share, then select 'transfer files to device' (the option you had on the bottom). The other Galaxy device will show up, select it, and touchwiz will do the rest. This was previously called 'quick connect', and before that it was called s-beam. That being said, it is necessary that you have 'phone visibility' in settings -> connections enabled for this to work, which is already one by default. I've also read somewhere that this is superior to manual WiFi direct because the connection is encrypted.
Great video Jimmy 👍glad somebody posted a video like this , I don't see very many of these video's anymore, I've used wifi-direct since my Note 4 and I would share movies from my Note 4 to my Note 10 tablet and it would send a 2gig+ HD movie in about 8-10 minutes
From a more technical stand point of transfer speeds: Wi-fi Direct: Up to 250< Mbps Xender app: Up to 240 Mbps Share IT app: Up to 160 Mbps Bluetooth 5.0: Up to 48 Mbps Bluetooth 4.0/3.0: Up to 25 Mbps NFC/Android Beam: Up to 424 kbps *Transfer speeds will depend on the devices Wi-Fi wireless standard of both devices and frequency and interference/signal, the read-write speed of the device/storage, and the distance between the nodes.
