    For how long do you leave each male in the female's enclosure if you don't see copulation?

    I have a video request because as yet I have not found one. Can you do a video on how you setup your racks. How you run the heat, cable management, thermostats etc. Everyone talks about the breeding but not of how to setup a rack system properly

    Have you ever had an issue with the milk snakes trying/successfully eating each other while having their private time?

    have you ever had any cannibalistic snakes ? i know milksnakes can be iffy

  • @briantennant8793

    I read somewhere that milk snakes are canablistic and can/will eat each other so is it ok to leave them together or should I watch over them the whole time

    • @ColdBloodCreations
      @ColdBloodCreations  5 років тому +1

      Milk snakes can be cannibalistic, but we've never had a problem with this. Still, due to the liability, we recommend that milk snakes be housed separately unless you are trying to breed them.

    • @6strings735
      @6strings735 4 роки тому

      I have never seen cannibalism with the milks that I have bred, not ever. However they do seem to prefer to be housed alone. That said, I have raised a group of hatchlings up together until they were getting too big to all be in one tub. They did great. Those were Sinaloan milks.

    Do you know where the chepest place to get a berded dragon cage and a bearded dragon

    • @ColdBloodCreations
      @ColdBloodCreations  6 років тому +1

      We will have some hatching soon. And we do sometime have used cages for a discounted price. We do however like to wait until our dragons are well started before putting them up for sell. Usually about 2 months old. Stay in touch, or follow us on Facebook for updates on all of this.

    Great video, don't mean to be rude but those hondos are to small to breed. That's the reason why hondos aren't the same anymore. Not even one of my adult hondos would fit in those tubs. However you have a great system, i just don't agree on the size of those hondos.

    • @ColdBloodCreations
      @ColdBloodCreations  5 років тому +2

      Perhaps it would seem, but we have seen wild caught Hondurans that were imported that were under 3 foot long that were gravid. While it is true that there are localities that do exceed 5 feet and very thick bodied, this is not true across the entire range wherein they are found. In the northern part of their range, most do not grow nearly that large. We work with a locality that is small. The males are fertile and ready to breed at just over 2 feet in length.
      We appreciate you checking out our channel, and thanks for the compliment.

      @@ColdBloodCreations Most of mines are 5 and 6 feet in size, yes its true some are smaller but are of age. I've been in the hondo world for a bit and premature breeding on most occasions bring small hatchlings. It's rare to see wild caught at that size but we are past the wild caught variety in our collections. Most of the hondo guys i know breed for cool stuff including size cause they happen to be the second largest milks and we are trying to preserve that. Some people are in such a rush to breed to make sales and its sad. Not saying you are but alot of people do. However I enjoy your videos ane your doing a fantastic job over all. Ever need new blood or some really cool hondos dont hesitate to ask.
