I helped six babies I rescued thru a ringworm infection. I was so upset over the little spots they had and how uncomfortable they were. I have done the dips, baths, and treatments to finally clear it up. Just seeing these little ones that far along that they have seizures really breaks my heart. I am glad they are getting help. Thank you.
These poor little babies. Thank you and all the people that you work with for taking care of the sweet kind furry little babies they need y'all. I don't have any guinea pigs but I do have a Chihuahua and so does my sister and they are our babies I can't imagine what these poor little piggies are going through. Thank you and your team again for being there not only for the piggies but also for the owners of piggies that bring their piggies in to be checked God bless you all from New Orleans Louisiana.
I just watched this video, Lyn. Bless you for your love, patience n gentleness with these 3 poor piggies! My heart bleeds for the second one with so many open wounds; must be SO PAINFUL 😖 Please do post their AFTER video/photo. Regards, Nikki.
The piggies 🐹 really like being brushed with the tooth 🦷 brush. Excellent idea 💡 of applying mineral oil around their face with a Q tip around their faces. They really liked the combing of the dead skin from their bodies, We can see an improvement already.
What little brave beauties. I feel so bad for them. Thank you so much for the care you give them, I know it must be hard and stressful for you too. That lice comb is brilliant. ❤️🐾
Its very hard to watch these poor babies. I cant wait to see them fully healed, and have the fur nice and full. I feel so bad for these babies, they dont deserve to go through this pain. My heart just breaks hearing them scream in pain and seize.
Yes while it is hard, they are the lucky ones that get to come here. So many just don't make it to help. Hopefully these videos are encouraging people to take action with their piggies in order to help them.
I noticed that I missed this video and watching it made me cry, I feel so bad for them and don't understand how someone can let it get this bad. My little dog started looking around he knew someone was hurting. I had to turn the sound down because he would have searched for them all day and night. He's my pup that takes rescue kittens and gives them a bath everyday, he also will make sure they are all safe in his bed before heading into the same bed. I know when I finally get my piggies he will be their protection parent. That is if they take to him. You are an angel to these piggies and they are lucky they found you.💜👼💙
Hi Tucson just be very careful that cats/dogs have natural instincts and while we think they can do no harm, they can. This is seen in the news all too often when we hear of a long standing family pet then attacking a child etc. So guinea pigs should not be with them for this reason as they will come off worse.
@@GuineaPigStuff absolutely, if I couldn't keep them safe I wouldn't get them that is a promise. The cage I'm looking at gives them not only a cage with a sturdy top but the outside part of the cage that has a cover you can buy. They will never be out of the cage without supervision. It took a long time for my pup to be alone with the babies, his kittens. If I thought getting these little piggies would put their lives in danger I wouldn't do it, I would admire them from a far. My nephew owns a shop that makes beautiful cabinets and he said if I can't find something I like he will make me a guinea pig castle.lol I want is so they can go outside when the weather is nice but because we have a lots of hawks and owls. Unless the cage can be covered I will not feel they're safe. This is another reason I haven't run out and pick out my 🐹guinea pig family. Safety first..
No disrespect but putting bandage jacket will cause more problems or the piggys try googling it but bathing the piggy is brilliant hats off to you but to much bathing can have dis advantage now ivermectin works I also used coconut mixed with idione which allowed the skin to heal and with 24-72 hours the hair had grown back i also used baby wash wipes ones the hair has come back fully i will give him another bath
These poor little piggies skin has to heal before hair will grow and if they have access to the skin they will continue scratching themselves and not allowing the skin to heal not to mention the seizures they start having when scratching the exposed skin. Therefore the bandages/wrappings are absolutely necessary for healing!!!
Oh bless their dear little hearts they are so adorable poor babies they are very lucky to have you
Poor wee things. Bless your heart for taking care of these poor things. Can't wait to see them in a couple months, all healed up with full coats
Thanks Mszoomy - These are only a few of the ones we have in care right now.

Hi Nikki Thanks - there is more to come on them

Thanks Narelle, yes is it is really softened you can do this and the brush has to be the softest variety.
How PRECIOUS they are! Thank you for helping them, my heart goes out to them, but I know this issue usually can be resolved well, Thank God!
Yes, thank you. There is more to come on these little ones.
Thank you.

What do you give them to help ease the desire to scratch themselves? Does antihistamine help with that?
Yes absolutely and they are on them.
I was wondering if u get a lice remover comb if it would help out better
Hmmm I think if you watch about 30.16 you will see how this can be useful.
Can it die from a heart attack as a result of a lot of pain?
In this instance no as we have pain relief and this is key to management of injuries and repair.
How can you tell if your Guinea has mites or fungal ringworms?
Frequently scratching and biting themselves is a symptom of mites

Natalie - hair does not grow back within 24 - 72 hours. Bandages absolutely required with two of these 3.
