My first 45 record of the beach boys was I can hear music. Guess what. It disappeared. So I got a different record with the song on it. The record that disappeared had good vibrations on the flip side.
That was very interesting seeing this clip. Never knew Dennis Wilson sang lead on that 2nd song! WOW. Seeing Carl sitting in on the drum 🥁 kit… I’d love to see this in higher resolution. Thank you.
I had no idea that Carl could play the drums! I knew Dennis sang lead on this song. OTOH, it sounded like they were lip synching anyway. I was mildly amused that Carl and Dennis (with drum kit) were in the front while the rest of the guys, especially Mike Love, were in the back. In the first song it sounded like someone forgot to turn on their vocal mikes.

Sounds that one mic was the only one that was really on and Carl and Dennis were signing over a background track
Dennis Wilson singing a song by Charlie Manson on daytime television
Isn’t this timeline great?

There's a huge back story to why Dennis sang on that song....
What is it?
