Altered Fans - Floral Fan Tutorial

- This project was so fun to create! I used a hand held fan purchased from Dollar Tree and added a whole bund of Shabby Chic embellishments to pretty it up. You've got to try this one!
If you're interested in purchasing one of these fans they are available in my Etsy Shop at: www.etsy.com/s... I will be putting together kits as well so be on the lookout for those. The kits will include lots of embellishments to make your fan your own. The embellishments won't be exactly the same as the ones in the video, however I will make sure you have plenty of great stuff to accomplish the results that will make you sing when it's done. I will also include some diamond dust so that you can make it sparkle like mine.

These fans are amazing to alter. I haven’t done one for a while but the funny thing is, I just found a couple of completed ones that I never even listed in my shop. They turn out so pretty. I hope you will try making one.
I made fan bouquets for my son and daughter -in-laws wedding 25 years ago. Her side of the wedding part carried them.

Hi,Carol, I love using Fabri Tac for almost all my crafts, I like it a lot better than hot glue,not as messy at all. I love all of those fans.You did an amazing job on this fan.Congratulations on your new Granddaughter.That fabric is very gorgeous. I love Happy Birds. I have done so many of her projects,she is wonderful. Hi Carol, those fans are so pretty. I love how you transformed that fan into a beautiful masterpiece.!!! You are awesome !!! The lighting works for me. Don't worry about the negative people. You do you and what makes you happy. This is your video, not theirs. In your last video you mentioned you were almost out of stickles. Make your own.. get clear glue and put glitter in it and stir it. You will have to play with it to get the consistency you want. I use fine glitter, but you can use any kind you want. I find your channel an inspiration. Please know that you are appreciated. I'm loving this fan idea. I actually own about 10 of these already. I went to a wedding reception once, where the AC broke down in mid summer, and my sister in law's grandmother had a whole bag full of paper fans. The woman was a genius. So I always have a supply of fans. Just in case.

Thanks! I am getting $43.00 for mine in my Etsy shop but my husband makes wooden stands for me to sell with them. A great alternative is the stands you can buy at Dollar Tree. They sell metal ones in the picture section of the store. 😁. With that said you can easily get $35.00 each for them.
