James Luceno, the author of the “Darth Plagueis” novel, has kept some parts of his novel as canon in the new continuity. He’s written both the “Tarkin” and “Catalyst” novels and the former does contain elements from his Plagueis novel that are canon, so the rest will be a broad strokes sorta deal

The number of times I said, "No way," in a row when I saw Darth Plagueis was way too many, but I recognized him immediately. He's so menacing and I love the reveal.

i really love his look even though hes still a muun. he looks more scarier than expected. not to mention his 7 foot height. so this planet has to be bal'demnic and i think by now tenebrous is dead. it isnt really a big deal at all. to be honest it would make perfect sense if this planet is bal'demnic. i think plageuis definitely is older than expected not as old as yoda but maybe 300 by the time of the prequels.
It doesnt have to be Baldemnic,cortosis isnt ideosyncrayic to the planet,more...this series doesnt contradict the novel lore wise, Tenebrous could still be the Dark Lord while Plagueis is still an apprentice and recruited Quimir as an acolyte whom he will eventually eliminate.

In the novel at one point Plaigues said to Palpatine "In Human years I would be well over a hundred"
He looks exactly like he did in Legends, its perfect. I just wish he had a more badass reveal, not hiding in a cave. People complaining about his age are just nitpicking that can easily be retconned, we dont know how long Muuns can live. On a side note Im curious if hes Qimirs master, or if hes spying cause he sensed another darkside user. Rule of 2 and all, someones gotta die.
i think that he is the master of the stranger. by this point tenebrous is definitely already dead. i love this show the perspective of the sith is really cool. id say plageuis is over 100 and definetly older than venestra. so id say plageuis was born in the 300s BBY and tenebrous in the 400s BBy. OH AND ALSO PLAGEUIS KILLED HIS MASTER ON BAL'DEMNIC AND THIS HAS THE BE BAL'DEMNIC. i had my doubts about leslye but she has only gotten better and she understands legends which is great.

Sith Lords are the most evil, creepy insidious creatures they're highkey nightmare fuel this is exactly how you reveal a sithlord by showing that he's slowly preying on you and you couldn't even tell it until the end, it reminded me of KOTOR 2 where the sith lords felt so scary and menacing.

“Plagueis” that may have Osha loosely but is primarily focused on the Sith Lord himself, and how he went from having Qimir to Palpatine as an apprentice!
They MIGHT Rename Acolyte to Episode Zero.
I was expecting Darth Plagueis to show up in the end and be not Qimir's master but rather one who never took him as his student and that Qimir's own "sith" path was not of the rule of two; I can't see Plagueis just tolerating how things were esclating and the reveal of the Sith came to be. Not only that, but it wouldn't make much sense that he would have such seemingly powerful force sensitive candidates only to then switch his focus to Palpatine later because "Something happened to these two". It would have made a lot of sense for him to have killed them all and showcase a real sith.
Perhaps Tenebrous send Plagueis there to investigate about the sith pretender Quimir and all the dark side allies he may have.Its possible that Plagueis is just about to eliminate Quimir then go after the twins

the Planet is Called Bal'demnic and I also Thought about this since The Stranger/Qimir Helmet is Made in Cortosis and When Osha put the Helmet on She sees a line of What Seems to be A Material Perhaps Cortosis.

I swear, and I could be wrong, but there was a scene in one of the later episodes where a Jedi tried to contact a senator and it sounded like a young Palpatine "he's not in right now" - or something to that effect.
It's like Disney and the writers suddenly remembered that Plagueis is supposed to be active around this Era.

They're cliffhangers to make you wait for S2. If they hadn't shown up in this episode, especially Plagueis, then I wouldn't have had pretty much any interest for S2. But I'll watch it for Plagueis/Yoda, and maybe young Palps shows up too.

Indeed It’s the traditional rule of the sith, there can be only two, the master or the apprentice can bring in a follower to help them out with replacing the other, and then kill or be killed. Much like how palpatine had maul before killing plagueis or how dooku had ventress before getting rid of her or how Darth Vader had star killer

He was so powerful, yet so wise. He could use the force to influence the midichlorians to create, life. He had such a knowledge of the Dark side, he could even keep the ones he cared about, from dying.
Really hope someone takes over the show for Season 2. Seeing more of this time would be amazing.

The tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise is that he only got 5 seconds of screen time with no lines and was put at the last minute
Plagueis having a connection to the witches makes perfect sense. Since it showed them creating life. Remember Palpatine and the story he told in episode 3. “Plagueis could keep people from dying”.
Plagueis is trying to find the secret to immortality and thinks he has that power in Osha. That’s why he had Qimir choose Mae and her as his Acolyte.
Thankfully i never payed any attention to the nostalfan haters and got an opinion of my own.
Now that it finished i can say my veredict: it was fun to watch but, for me, finale was mediocre. I still think it's better than Kenobi or Book of Boba. But that's not saying much.
Awesome things in the series: Lightsaber duels were the greatest since Revenge of the Sith, which is much appreciated.
Also the concept and story were interesting and kept me waiting always for the next episode.
Bad things: mainly in this last chapter. This finale seems rushed.. Yoda and Plagueis appearences were way to dumb, since they didn't do anything for the plot. Also, if Plagueis is there and Qimir is trainkng Osha... What happens with the rule of 2?
Furthermore, there is no reason for Mae and Osha to split at the end. And the memory erase just seems too much of a deus ex machina. That was really lazy writting.
In short: fun show with a mediocre finale.

According to the Darth Plaguieus novel, in this scene he has not yet recruited Palpatine as an apprentice, it would be shortly after Darth Plaguieus murdered his master Darth Tenebrous. It is also possible that he was looking for the possible candidates for Sith Lords that his master had stored in the ship of one of the clandestine disciples of Darth Tenebrous called Darth Vinamis who plagues left him in a coma to keep him in a cooling capsule where he did his experiments to cheat death......

The TRUE Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise - only got a few seconds of screen time, with probably never going to appear ever again.

Literally felt Almost nothing except nostalgia for seeing a beloved character come back. His not even supposed to be a sith yet. If it was tennebris it would have been better. Once again these people know nothing.
Plagueis's timeline isn't defined in canon. Nothing prevents them from simply pushing him back. If anything him being older during Palpatine's time is neat - emphasizes how much time he'd had to train and to study.
I would have liked it even more if both Tenebrous and Plagueis were waiting there.

What do you y’all think Plagueis was doing before making this appearance? Just sitting down in a dark cave all day waiting for this appearance? Did he have some sort of entertainment to keep him occupied?

Like Plagus would let them survive because of the rule of two unless what's his name was Plagus's apprentice before Palpatine. But then he would let him train others.
The Sith always had “acolyte”s, inquisitors, hands and other dark side wielding henchmen who would at most be taught some dark side combat training at the minimum but not overly powerful enough to overrule their masters. In legends Mara jade was the emperor’s hand just below Darth Vader and Tarkin. In the “old republic” & “Sith Jedi wars” sith would not only have mutiple apprentices but have dark side soldiers who were just military grunts that could do a simple force much at best. Plus the the Disney canon inquisitors
Uhm ... if you really made your homework, you know that Plagueis still was Sidious Master, when he had Maul as apprentice and Plagueis knew that. So he doesn't seem to care for the rule of two that much after all.
It also was kinda the same situation: Only Sidious knew about Plagueis, while Maul thought that his Master was the one in charge and wasn't aware of Plagueis' existence, like Osha now thinks Qimir is the Master and doesn't know there is another Sith Lord above him. Except, at this point she doesn't even know they are Sith.
I think Plagueis only wants to know how Osha and Mae were created. Maybe through "studying" Osha, he will gain the ability to create life via Midichlorians.
