I have seen banana plants finish their life cycle in 4 month, they can be planted and harvested in little as 3 to 4 months, the middle stem trunk is used in cooking a side dish, because it is edible and provides roughage, leaves are harvested for restaurants as a substitute for plates to eat in, for decorations, plant barks can be dried into twine like string to make garlands, tying flowers together for a few days to weeks. the entire plant is usable.
greet you mr. @eric david I am grateful to live in Indonesia ... bananas are of many types and varieties ... everything tastes good

Noong araw Wala pong binibili Fertiliser bastat inaaro Ang lupa at nililinis Mga paligid NG Mga halaman at umaasa Lang SA ulan; Pero kailangan naman Ang patubig. Wala pong Sakit Mga Tao tumatanda at bumabaloktot na Ang likod halos nasa baywang na Ang Ulo Pero walang iniindang Sakit. Sariwang gulay pinitas SA umaga loto SA tanghali yon narin ulam SA Gabi at walang Fridge at Mga isda buhaynabuhay bago lutuin. Simpleng Luto sariwang pagkain at walang Vichen or Ajinomoto etc na sahog Pero masarap na sya. Noong araw Malayo Ang Mga kapit bahay may kanya kanyang solar; Ngayon dikitdikit na Mga bahay pati Fridge lahat NG kapit bahay labas pasok buksan Ang fridge mo NG Mga kapit bahay walang respect Mga Tao. Kung kailangan mo NG pera nagbenta Ka NG alaga Mong hayop, alahasko o lupa; Ngayon hihiram Pero Wala o ayaw magbayad sila pa Ang galit! Noon makikinig Ka NG Radyo para Lang sayong tainga; Ngayon Palakasan NG Volume NG Kareoke at Stereo sound System Ang Roof/atep ay kumakalabog sumasabay SA tog tog Pero Mga Tao nagsisigawan pag naguusap Dahil PURO BASAG na Ang EARDRUM!!! Puera los buenos Mga babae ay Mga Batugan Mga asawa nasa bukid habang nakikipagtongit si Mrs. Pag namatay si Mr NGANGA si Mrs Dahil walang alam na trabaho kundi makipagchismis SA katulad nyang Palamunin. Mga dalagia walang pangarap pangkabuhayan kundi pagaasawa ginagawang Career, nanganganak na Wala pang alam na trabaho at pag namatay si Mr hahanap agad NG ibang magpapalamon SA kanya kahit may asawa at anak pinapatulan. May Mga Lalaki rin hinahanap yong Mga babaeng Masipag marunong SA hanap buhay upang may magpalamon SA kanila Mga Batugan puera los buenos!

Highly informative. May I know if all the farmers follow the same tradition of leaving the mother plant stand and supplying nutrients to the new followers? what are all the other techniques followed by the farmers there to clear a field after the banana harvest is completed?

I love listening to different languages ( I love linguistics & use to teach Peace Corps volunteers & diplomats ) but man this is unusual & doesn’t flow well. I am sure you can make a local segment & English separately . Great video however & good luck . I will check you out one more time before I subscribe
Fantastic work 👌🌱☘🌴🌿🍃
