I’ll join you for a ride out Saturday morning. I’m from Warrington. Me and my mate rode round north wales yesterday. Fog and mist everywhere. However we did find one spot that had clear blue skies and sunshine over Bala way. It was the weirdest phenomenon ever. Everywhere else had heavy fog, yet this one spot had clear blue skies. We are out every Sunday. Generally North wales. Hopefully meet you Saturday. Look out for a big white tiger 1200 Rallypro on a 24 plate
Hi Paul, Good to see you out again, I was out today so the weather is the same there as it is here in North Wales. Do you know I think it is the rain and mist that has caused problems with fogging up I have had this helmet for over a year now and never had a problem until today. How made is that. Love your enthusiasm even if your CL didn't Haha. The sound is better it is in stereo now. Happy Days, stay safe. 👍
Thanks Honda-world yes it was cold, also heat from head in a smaller shell I think any helmet would of fogged up still enjoyed it, thanks for the audio I actually thought it sounds better, and I had the visor up most the way👍👍👍
Were your eyes minti clean after toothpaist 🤣🤣 I've hear people talk about it but never actually do it, raw potatoes, or hard soap is a def work, cleaned off with tissue, but like anything it is also all dependent on how bad the weather is👍👍👍
Pinlocks are the way forward, I only had one 2 years ago after 26 years of riding without and I can honestly say I'm amazed at how good they are. I do have criticism though, they can scatter the light somewhat at night in damp conditions and that can cause a horrible astigmatism affect. As far as gloves go, I have two I love, and old pair of winter RST gloves which I've had for almost 10 years and are still water resistant, and I recently bought a pair of heated Macna gloves for £159 quid, very steep in price, but they are gorgeous to ride in, if a little bulky around the controls, but aren't all winter gloves? :-)
@@Drobium77 yes I've had couple helmets with pinlock just don't get on with them, they all have a seem which is always in my eye line, interested in gloves I have a 20 year old pair the same still waterproof but I do use dubin and silicon spray, are your heated gloves battery or like kies weathered👍👍👍
I tried anti fog sprays but they barely work and if they do not for long.. I now ride with the shoei neotec 2 helmet for 5+ years with a pinlock insert, never have any fog, so for me pinlock in that helmet is the best possible combination. Having fog in a helmet is dangerous and annoying
Hi Kevin, it was really the worste I've rode in yesterday, but I've allways found raw potatoe or hard soab lasts a couple days, I will be nicking some spuds New Years Day, LOL, I don't like the line pinlock allways is in your vision, but that could be the helmet👍👍👍
No idea what road you were riding on, but as a newbie rider, I'll definitely give that one a miss! The roads in Warrington in general are all horrendous with pot holes. Pays to have a nice comfy seat, or springy legs.. I use a pinlock and normal visor cleaner, however I've heard people using furniture polish but I'm too 'new' to try that tbh.
Pinlock didn't come into the Uk until 2000s I think it was Iceland or Norway in the 90s, Potatoes are by the best Ive used, cut one in half rub it on the visor, clean it off with tissue, I'll have to get you out down these lanes and train you, You can ride any roads like them in any country, PS what do you ride BB👍👍👍
I started before the road and I believe that is what makes you better, Have a great New Year Blakes I think the whole A Team would love to come and crash at your place👍👍👍
@birchwoodbiker if ever here, all are welcome. Just think it's crazy how much money is needed to ride 2 wheels in England. 4 ton missile is easy to get the license, but a 500 pound bike takes thousands. Weird
I don’t think I’ve been more nervous watching a video in my life. Well, not since the one where you lubed the chain on your NC🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️Wet roads, near freezing mist/fog,giant potholes( which you actually rode through most of them!) and worst of all mostly one handed up to the rail crossing ffs!
No the roads were fine upto the crossing, you can't avoid them, and there all 6-10 inches deap wish the camera could show them the way human eyes see them FEAR🤣🤣🤣👍
Will be continuing to pray for a good and healthy long life for you Paul.
Always good to see you out and about.
Thank you and I wish the same to you and your family, have a great New Year, but don't neglect your Bike🤣🤣👍👍👍
As a committed fair-weather rider I take my hat off to you for getting out in the midst of a dank vile British winter.
Come on Bib give it a try you won't go back🤣🤣🤣👍
Sound quality is very clear, fine!
Cheers David I think it's the helmet👍👍👍

Great looking forward and sounds like a nice bike👍👍👍
At last I can hear you when I watch on my PC. The sound is perfect so please keep these settings for future publications.
Thanks glen, it's in a smaller helmet much appreciated👍👍👍

That road was a nightmare…I felt some of those potholes…lol. Take care😀👍
Yes it was fun, there not that bad but I think the CRL will be my next replacement🤔🤔🤔👍
Yes, I see why…better for the rough stuff😀👍
I've tried most anti fog sprays , toothpaste, washing up liquid, shaving foam , pinlock system is the best option for me people 😊

You rode past my house could have come in for a brew 😂
You could off called me It would of gone down really well🤣🤣🤣👍

@@birchwoodbiker Mine are wired to my heated jacket, which is wired directly to the bike's battery, so it can get hot and stay hot all day 🙂
@Drobium77 yes same as kies I bought a pair 2 years ago just short of £200 not even taken them out of the box I think it's time to try them🤣🤣🍻
@@birchwoodbiker I would matey! there's a pretty severe cold spell coming on around the 3rd of January, would be an ideal time to try yours out :-)
Your a braver man than me buddy. Too much fog this way to feel safe around idiot drivers
@@MATS_MAKERSPACE as long as I can see nothing it's clear 🤣🤣🤣👍

I’m from Warrington. The roundabout near Juniper farm pub is always greasy. Roads aren’t too bad.
Be tought how it works and ride a weekend, get a license and start leaning.
