Glad you’re not badly hurt. Looks like you need better tyres, crash bars and mirrors…and I really couldn’t put up with that radiator guard tbh 😀👍 I look forward to the upgrade video😀
Yes new mirrors ordered today, the crashguard and radiator guard will be coming off in the morning, twisted knee which you don't notice till your adrenalin drops but still great fun👍👍👍
Excellent. I have a rule, I don't go down lanes that I don't know if I can turn around. In fact I avoid green lanes generally, I'm not fit enough. Entertaining as always mate
Nic your on a bike that does that for fun, I blame the slick tyres not my riding ability😇 gutted camera battery fell out, I twisted my left leg But it's not going to stop me🤣🤣👍
Hiya mate , Thanks for another lovely video, Glad your OK but Mate Please think twice about doing such stuff on your own, it could have gone horrendously wrong, Thankfully you got away with it this time. Be careful mate.
Cheers Paul your 100% right, but people get there enjoyment in many different ways, I traet it as a learning curve and still having bit of fun while I can, so you will see me down that track again maybe with stabalisers👍🤣🤣🤣
Morning Paul, don't blame the tyres blame the mud 😅 nice seeing the Ship Canal and the toll bridge, but you should have taken Holly Bush Lane . The crash bars didn't do very well . The tool kit is behind the offside sidepannel, not under the seat. Nice one, Paul 😊
I think the tyres let you down rather than your skill! Good to put the bike through its paces off-road though. Reminded me of the Baron Von Grumble video where he took his GSXR down a green lane.
You would be better off with a husky 701 enduro or gasgas 700 es or even a KTM 690 r enduro with proper knickers on for the off road muddy paths if that's what you wanna do!like you say it's all good if your in your 20s or 30s but when you get to 60 better off on tarmac I'm 61 and used to do all the Motorcross stuff when young and loved it haven't done for years now not fit enough and like you say in your head you can do it but in reality them days are over and out my friend.good vid tho keep it up.
Falling off hurts at any age! I find it know takes a lot longer to recover from the fall. Is a great little bike, I have not been off road since my motocross racing days (mid 80s).
It was fun, but really to heavy, the ignition key is def in the wrong place, I think without the crash bars it could of snapped it, "yes I was in 80's 90's when I raced motorcross my mind thinks I can still do it, lucky I cant ride as fast🤣🤣🤣👍
Got to say that at my age i never go off the black stuff and now i can see why that is a wise decision. In the dry you would have handled it but on wet soft ground your pushing it with road tyres.
@ I think it’s us Paul when I had that brand new scram 411 I took over salter fell dropped it loads no inhaler picked the wrong bag of meds up gasping for air thought I was going to die. The bloke with me panicked no phone you could imagine it what it was like I left the bike ripped over on the rocky ground. I think it’s our minds we know how to do it but doing it is another story 🤣🤣🏍️😎 you take care 🙏
Owning a CL they are only marginally better on the rough stuff than a road bike, love the styling of a scrambler, but this attempt from Honda is more style than substance.
100% it's not a off road bike, light gravell tracks but it's also to heavy hard to stand up on, and the ignition key is in the wrong place, but if it says scrambler we have to have ago👍👍👍
The slutchy mud can have it tucking even on full knobblies! Plus, it needs to carry a bit of speed, lighten the front a smidge and steer from the back, throttle and peg weight.. even then, offs are a fact of off road life in the wet. That Honda is too nice to crash 😍
Yes agree it's not off road bike at all the NC is better, and tyres and slow speed were my down fall, but still enjoyed it, except the twisted knee suffering today, I'd love to get the cr300 and blast down there👍👍👍
I don’t understand why you are so negative about the tyres. I found the same on my 500X really great, so great I replaced them like for like when the time came.

I too have a rule. Anywhere I ride needs to have a tarmac surface....

I need to get you down this lane with me we can help each other off the floor🤣🤣👍
@birchwoodbiker your not getting me down any lanes I've heard about your lot from Warrington 🤣🤣🤣
Priceless.. On the plus side I have a new mountain bike trail route.
@@johna6968 bet it's got better tyres😂😂😂👍

Yes it has scrambler in it's name, and with better tyres it would of done it, but we can fall off any bike road tyres on mud is a challenge but fun👍👍
@@birchwoodbikerThe tyres are fine, stop using them as an excuse.

@@carlhibbert5260 I know but still fun and as it's got scrambler in the name, which is usual fake advertising 😂😂🍺
Slik street tires!!!☝️🤕

Morning Paul, you should know better at your age than to go messing on the mud 😂 Nice video.
We have to have adventures on our bikes before we get the 4 wheeled electric carts🤣🤣🤣👍

I call it a learning curve, or fall🤣🤣👍
Ooops. 50/50 tyres not good on the slippy stuff! Hope you and the bike are ok 👍
Yes still had great fun twisted knee though sufering this morning, the trailmax tyres are crap if mita would of been on I think I'd of been ok👍👍
@@birchwoodbikerA bad workman… The tyres are fine, good allrounders.
Hi ya Paul you should take easy not lifting your bike up glad to see you seem okay
Yes still bit of Fun Derekyou know me, the bike is def not a scrambler, or is it me🤣🤣🤣👍

I think I would only go on trails on old trail bike with big block tyres on , your CL is too nice a bike to green lane . I do hope it’s ok 👍
I think that would be the sensible to do🤣🤣🤣
Should've bought a GS😂
I'd of still been there trying to pick it up👍🤣🤣🤣
You're falling off almost as much as Use-Her-Name Kate does....
But when I was her ageI never fell off I must be a better rider, may be down a bit on the looks🤣🤣👍
