It is somewhat funny, but also quite annoying how many comments this video has received claiming this run to be fake or cheated. I understand many people do not know as much about minecraft speedrunning but that does not mean that those individuals should try to accuse me of cheating. Important things to note:
There are multiple categories of minecraft speedruns. This is a set seed glitchless run. This is NOT a random seed. I spent countless hours resetting thousands of times on this one seed to master the mechanics and obtain the right luck to pull off this crazy time.
The seed is in the description and you can check it and load it up yourself to see that everything is there. (Java edition version 1.16.1)
I have been in the minecraft speedrunning scene for well over a year, holding many world records and top times. I’ve also been moderating on the official java edition speedrunning discord server for a very long time and am very well known by the community members as well as leaderboard verifiers and mods.

@@mineralnoodles yes the minecraft speedrunning community has seedfinders who use programs to search and filter through millions of seeds for the best ones to use. i have never done this though, i really just run seeds once they’re found, so i don’t exactly know how to do it or what programs are used. if you’re interested in learning more, you can ask in the minecraft java speedrunning discord server (can be found on speedrun.com/mc ) and someone will direct you to a guide. i’ve seen some of them posted in there. also thanks, i appreciate it :)

Thanks! This took hundreds of resets due to the pearl highrolling, skull luck, other rng factors, and also mechanical failure. It feels amazing to have actually completed this run and achieved this crazy time! Also I agree, this seed is insane lol

I love the fact that some people are saying that it’s fake because the skull luck is impossible but he probably reset hundred of thousands of seeds and probably was unlucky when it comes to statistics.

Literal perfect seed with perfect execution. I was fully expecting this category to be like 20 minutes but here I am amazed by the boundless heights speedrunners can reach

For those wondering. He killed 11 wither skeletons and got 3 skulls. A skull drops about once for every 70 wither skeletons killed. So the odds of getting these skull rates are about 1 in 2247. Obviously very rare, but for a world record, totally feasible.

Bedrock wither can get out of bedrock, has double the health and has an OP dash attack, its way stronger, than Java

there are different categories for minecraft speedruns, this run is a set seed run, so the seed is found, routed, and played many times for the fastest run, he prolly didnt get the skulls that fast in the other tries

Any kind of soul block works
You loaded up a already made world and did it as fast as you could plus slightly off curser indicating you have loaded it up before plus no advancements you could have toggled it off but still suspicious
This is a set seed run. It is not random. That is the whole point. Also the advancements literally show up in chat lmao

It’s a set seed run so the runner knows before that the diamond isn’t needed. Getting the diamonds would be good regularly but would be a timeloss in this case. I would do some more research on ssg speedrunning
I'm here from nEmerald who just got 2nd with a pace of around 5min, you are actually a bit more skillful than him. Btw the rng was crazier than pogloot

If you’re going by RTA (real time attack) yes, however the minecraft speedrun leaderboards are based on IGT (in game time) for the most part. I determined this using a frame counting retimer tool, so 3:55 is actually accurate

your run is on bedrock, and i respect it, however it’s not very comparable to my java edition run considering the differences between versions, such as how you’re able to trap the wither in obsidian. if i was able to do that in java edition this run would be much different and faster. nice run, though
@@rekagan2497 That's fair and reasonable, and thank you for the complement. I was just curious to see what you would say. It's amazing how different the wither fight is on bedrock and java. For example the wither is much harder to fight on bedrock in general and it takes ten seconds for it to explode at the end. Until the obsidian cage method was discovered as an easy way to kill the wither on bedrock, we had no consistent way to quickly kill the wither without gathering some decent gear first and fighting it normally. It's amazing how much speedrunning strategies have improved lately to bring us such insane times! I'm not sure if you read my full video description, but if you haven't I hope you would consider doing so! Finally, I agree with you about our runs not being very comparable since they are very different. I also wanted to say your run is well performed and I watched it earlier back when you got wr with sub 4!
@@ENDER-4710 yeah speedrunning strats are insanely cool, and this was also cool to see the differences in versions/strats. not only can you guys use an obsidian wither cage, you can get swords in chests with multiple enchants, which i didn’t know about. in java you can only get one lol. and it seems hit cooldowns are only in java too. also thanks for watching! we can both agree that we are the best wither-killers of our versions 😎🤝

by 4 minutes in the nether fortress i wouldve only killed 2 wither skeletons that would drop a stone sword and bones

Yeah the rng was crazy in this run. And i only needed one pearl trade, minimum being 4 pearls, but the piglins decided i should get 15 lol

In this speedruns they use a specific seed that they select, and they try to improve the time, memorizing every single thing they have to do

When there’s almost an infinite number of seeds in Minecraft eventually a seed with close buried treasures are found. Of course it’s rare but that’s what seed finding is. I would do some research on seedfinding

After spending hours trying to find wither skeleton skulls in a modpack that adds two additional mobs with wither skeleton drops, I came here hoping to find some strategy to get skulls faster.
I didn't find that, but my time was not wasted.
Well you actually did come to the right place because there’s a speedrunning strategy that I used in this run to boost wither skeleton spawn rates immensely. By turning your render distance down (5 works best) while in a soul sand valley/warped forest fortress, the fortress will spawn a lot more mobs. You can also fly away and fly back to load it again for more spawns. (this mainly works on singleplayer worlds btw) good luck :)

It’s not a glitch, the wither just gets trapped in bedrock. It’s an intentional game feature that the wither can’t break bedrock.
That's a completely opposed idea for speedrunning, speedrunning is cheesing the game to do things as fast as possible, not the legit way
