- I really hope you guys enjoy this song, as it's a first of its kind for me. Instead of picking a story or theme to write a song around, I wrote one strictly as a personal creative outlet. This one is for anyone who's ever been made to feel like a "black sheep" of sorts for whatever reason it may be. It's okay to be different. There's nothing wrong with you.

I really hope you guys enjoy this one! It's my first take at a truly personal song, rather than a themed one!
This song isn't targeting any particular groups, so please don't feel attacked by misinterpreting my lyrics. This song is specifically targeting the "holier than thou" people who treat others who are different like absolute garbage. They tell you your lifestyle is wrong or not good enough and try to make you feel badly about yourself, and then turn around and try to act like they are blessed beings of goodness, despite their rotten, selfish behavior. I think almost all of us have had at least one person like that in our lives. But really, that's just what it meant to me. I want this to be a song that you can pour your own meaning into if it helps you in any way. Have a great day guys, and stay creepy!

I know there is some truth to the matter regarding Christians and it sucks honestly. Shouldn’t have said target, since that’s clearly not what you’re doing, but you were kinda being general.

Thank you for this madame macabre. This song reminded me of how much of an outcast I felt like in my Christian elementary school. The guys all were jocks girls all perfect Christians and I wrote and drew things, I never fully felt like part of the school mates and got bullied alot growing up.

Ok so this one is definitely a more personal song, and it really shows, the lyrics are pretty hard hitting, not gonna lie. (Especially being neuroatypical, the last part of the chorus about paying the price of trying to fit in is a big oof.) The message is really strong, and definitely something that needs to be heard! So yeah, honestly, I really like this song, and also I feel ya in a way. Keep being weird Madame!

You have no idea how much I needed to hear this. I got actual goosebumps, and I mean, I always do when I hear your amazing voice, but this message really resonated with me. I always thought I was...wrong, I guess? Like, I didn't fit in, but who does when they're growing up, so I waited and waited, hoping it would just click into place one day. Middle School? Nope. High School? Still wrong. College? What should I do? Am I broken? Too far gone? I would constantly try to stamp down what I liked, try to dull it down with fashion that wasn't me and opinions that I didn't share. It was only recently that I understood I wasn't wrong, just interesting. There's nothing wrong with me. I'm not sick, disturbed, and I shouldn't be worried about myself for liking these things. The things I like aren't all that unusual, and I think Madame and other's like her on UA-cam, along with some friends I've made recently helped me figure that out. So, thank you, Madame Macabre. You've done more for me than you could ever imagine. :)
