The start of the song: The origins The middle: Present day and the quote 'drifter' journeying back to the town that banished him The ending: The town's downfall and the drifter's return. This song tells a story...

My favourite part is “And on your way down the hill you hear me ring that bell. I’d pay the Devil twice as much to keep your soul.” Because the 2nd line is so raw but also because if you switch the i and e in hill and bell you get “down the hell you hear me ring that bill” which goes perfectly with the 2nd part because he’s paying the devil.
This song is so up beating like today I’m sick and I listened to this and it gave me a smile these sort of songs a bomb!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I’m now obsessed with this song! Amazing band
1:54 "I'd pay the devil twice as much to keep your soul" gives me goosebumps 🔥💯
This song hits harder than the meteor that killed off the dinosaurs!!! This audio is awesome!! ❤❤❤
"I am the righteous hand of god"
"And I'm the devil the you forgot"
That was way too badass
@Dianah Bruh-
Love these type of songs which have a whole story in lyrics
I’m not really sure why I have an emotional connection to this song, but it always brings a surge of emotions that cause me to tear up.

Yep
Guilty. Found an owl house short of it and found the song catchy
@@ub-minosfireborn5722 you mean that one with the collecteur

The start of the song: The origins
The middle: Present day and the quote 'drifter' journeying back to the town that banished him
The ending: The town's downfall and the drifter's return.
This song tells a story...
Someone: What cha doing?
Me: Making holy water.
Someone: How do you do that?
Me: Boiling the hell out of some water.
A good one lol😂

my favorite pat was " first there fire then smoke then the preacher man was hanging by a rope."

Never heard more than a few lines of this before, but the whole song is just an experience. The story is fantastic, and the imagery is vivid. It's like a musical book. All the little intricacies are wonderful
Traduction française
[Couplet 1]
Shit that comes straight out of Google Trad. Thx for thé effort though.
I smell Google trad but Nice try
venez-vous d'apprendre le français ?
@@empereur_vic7521 Oui je n’ai pas traduis moi-même mais ça reste compréhensible
Google trad made a pretty good job ^^ appart for " predicateur " we can tell " Prêcheur" too , and " Je suis la main juste de Dieu " we can say " Je suis la main vertueuse de Dieu " and some conjugation errors but i'm French and i understand the translation 😀
Only those who know what it’s like to be stuck adrift in the storm alone will have the courage to go back into the same storm to save those who need it. Pain begets pain, kindness creates.
This the only kinda country I like. This shit is hard af and makes me feel raw emotion. Great song
This isn’t country it’s folk music
Listen to Turnpike Troubadours
This is folk
I like how they manage to tell a story and make great music at the same time. Now it’s just “my girl left me, I left my girl, drugs, guns, gang violence”. This shit is actually cool.
Theres actually lots of song that tell a stories out there but yeah, the one that in spotlight almost all of them like what you said
this is a brilliant song yes but it’s not very cool how you’re generalising every current song when there’s loads of good songs that tell stories too
People are too stupid nowadays to either make or appreciate songs with real lyrics and a story to tell. Used to be every album had a story to tell but now it’s just about what pulls in the most fans and cash.
@@curiousitykilledthecat9933 I wish you’d guys realize I’m talking about the majority of music. A lot of new albums are pushed out without any thought.
