If yur gonna keep it, take the time and tear it down and clean it up. Look along the bottom tubes on both sides for rust and how much. Two primers are for each 40mm carb. each has it's own fuel supply. It needs new crank seals. Rebuild it and get yur self a parts machine. The xtc are worth keeping. NIce sled u got it's worth restoring if u can. PRS and F chassis R my Favs. I have 4 of them. Thanks for sharing.

x2 on the crank seals in reference to the engine RPM.
Nicely done on the startup. Wondering if since you have the bottle with 2 stroke oil why you would not have gone full throttle on the carbs or removed the carbs and used the bottle to inject oil on the crank rods and on the crank bearings as well as a guy can do in this situation?

I wonder if running it a bit loosened the rings in the one cylinder. What was the mileage? I would be tempted to remove the head and check the pistons and cylinders. But that water would make me concerned about the crank bearings.

Yeah, we got lucky with the compression. Yes, I think running it loosened them up for sure. The milage is only 1700! Part 2 will be dropping next week, I have an idea to try and inspect the crank bearings without pulling the motor apart. We will see if it works. Stay tuned! Thanks for watching

Save yourself some grief and pull the carbs off and clean them. For how long that was sitting that would be the first thing I would do. Pulling the head isn't going to give you much of a view of the crank or case. Maybe pulling off the exhaust Y pipe you can get a look with a light and one of those small mirrors. I'd also pull the rave valves apart and make sure the diaphram is good and all working and clean the valve part. Always lots to do on an old neglected sled.
