This was very useful as I'm teaching my daughter to drive. I liked the mini-tutorial on how to do a U-turn. It would be nice to hear more of the feedback at the end though.. the video just abruptly ends. Also (just more constructive feedback), it would be good if the fault tally stayed on the screen all the time (top middle where it wouldn't be in the way maybe). We're Brisbane northside, so it's certainly helpful to see what she will expect to experience in the (QLD) test - I can start getting her to do everything correctly from this early stage in her driving (she's done about 35 hours with me now). Oscar drove really well, but just needs to work on a few things (like watching out for those STOP signs!) to be able to pass.
Thank you, Ben, for your feedback and suggestions. I don't include feedback to the students in the video because I already go into detail about their mistakes as soon as they happen. Including feedback afterwards would just be repeating the same information. I felt it might bore the viewers. However, I can consider keeping the fault tally on the screen, though I didn’t do that initially because I thought it might distract the audience. It's wonderful to hear you're helping your daughter with her driving journey. I wish you both all the best. 🌹
Thank you for the video. I have 3 questions below: 1. 9:23 Should he continues turn right after giving way the opposite car instead of stopping at pedestrian crossing? 2. Can I adjust the minor before doing parallel parking to see the curb clearly? 3. At intersection, I'm stopping before Stop sign and must give way another car, but he makes a signal for me going first and still gives me way. Should I keep stopping until he goes first or I go first to avoid a traffic jam?
You're welcome. 1. Yes, once you cross the solid white line, you should clear the intersection at the right time 2. Yes, you can. Just make sure you put it back to normal position after finishing parking. 3. If you don't have the right of way, you must not go, even if they tell you to go. This has been covered in more detail in the video below: ua-cam.com/video/nmMAYxdtiVY/v-deo.htmlsi=uoKdIKFXeDXM88DP
Thanks for the video! One question tho, when turning right from 1 lane to 3 lane road (major road), do u need to signal left if u want to go straight to the left most lane? Thanks!
Hello, yes, the rules are pretty much the same. The way they mark the driving test report sheet in NSW is a bit different. Also, in NSW, you are not required to indicate off a single lane roundabout, whereas in QLD, you are. This video goes into a lot more detail: ua-cam.com/video/oA-DTnQi-E4/v-deo.htmlsi=5cwBIEwsTEIA5kaX
That's OK. First, the pedestrian walked on red light (illegal). Second, as long as the pedestrian clears your way and moves away from your path, you're good to go
About the critical driving error indicated at 13:52 for safe distance, am I allowed to drive using the three second safe gap rule in QLD just like NSW? Although I know in QLD, it's two seconds, but personally I think three seconds is better because it makes me feel more comfortable and may encourage tailgaters to avoid tailgating to reduce accidents. What I mean is when a vehicle is infront of me, I don't count 1001 and 1002, I count from 1001 to 1003 to see if I am leaving three seconds of distance from the vehicle infront of me. Although tailgating feels extremely uncomfortable for many drivers, so my sensitivity prompts my body to avoid tailgating intentionally! 😊
@Murrigirl64 You look ahead and see there are no cars coming down, so you go to the middle of the road and keep driving. If there is any cars coming, you wait for them to pass or they wait for you to pass (if the road is too narrow)
Your videos really helped me pass my P test 2 days ago in Logan! Thank you for everything!

Thank you for your video.
I have one question - in the school zone if the school is on break do we need to follow speed (40km/hr)?

I once did not enter an intersection on green when turning right twice on the driving test. Are these both critical driving errors or non-critical.
Non-critical
Hello sir , i just have a question. Does NSW have the same road rules as Brisbane?

@drivingtestaustralia OK, thanks a lot .
Hi, is this greenslope test area?
Hi, yes
7:26 min, the pedestrian was still crossing the road ( look right side), but Oscar started to drive. Isn't it an immediate failure??
That's OK. First, the pedestrian walked on red light (illegal). Second, as long as the pedestrian clears your way and moves away from your path, you're good to go

Yes absolutely. That's okay if it makes you feel safer. You won't get a fine for doing that 🙂
25:14 what if there was a car coming down?
