4:36 The amount of people on the road that just have absolutely no clue how a car works is mind boggling. Takes a fast turn in the wet and then locks up the brakes in the middle of it 😂
😢It won't be due to locking up the brakes as it's a new Volvo with smart esp. The problem will be the tyre shop has sold him brand new front tyres and the rear tyres will have a lot less ability to clear water. But lower corner speed certainly would have prevented it.
@@kevinobrien4155 stomping the brakes and removing all the weight and grip from the rear surely didn't help with the spin lmao. Volvo esp may be smart but you can't get away from the law of physics
Brakes didn't cause that spin, road cars are engineered to be heavily front limited, meaning they will understeer on the limit no matter how much you slam the brakes on, infact slamming the brakes on will make it understeer more as you're drastically stopping how much the front tyres can turn, however some trail braking might help the car rotate a little more but it's still a road car and will be front limited. So this spin is probably caused by bad rear tyres
2:18 That 2nd car was so well hidden. This is a common mistake . I've been in the position of the dashcam driver and got blasted for not going and this is why. 7:45 That's pretty normal for a taxi driver. It's a shame the truck didn't take his front bumper off for him. 11:25 Ah sweetie, you rock my world... Yeah, I felt it :D 12:01 I know that intersection. Lots of crazy driving goes on there. That's Metro 5 / Milton road near Miskin street veering right onto Mt Coot-tha road exit. 16:07 Probably trying to get to the RBH (to the left). You're in a pickle there as no right from Gregory (even if you go straight then do a u-turn) 17:55 Well there goes $50 worth of rubber. 19:27 A green arrow / light doesn't always mean go. Surely the car in front could see that coming. 21:59 You're near Brisbane Airport. Taxis do crazy things out there. Expect the worst, never be disappointed. 22:15 I'm really surprised the taxi didn't go after that. Good to see it from a trailing cars prospective 22:35 Next the jetter comes sliding out or some reels of hose. 23:30 I want to know if the speed trap cop kept zapping people for doing 2 KPH over or if he went over to assist. 25:10 Sure, it's a bugger turning right into Stafford road there (multiple changes of lights) but trying to rip past and cut in or (if you missed your turn) is not going to work. Better to go past, take the next left, cut through the back of Everton park there and come out (i.e. Left Gordon, left again and left Griffith ??? then straight across at the lights.
19:27 when the red car left entered the intersection the ute would have been upwards of 80-100m away. The stop line for the ute is right on top of the intersection so the hatch driver, looking at where they're going, wouldn't have been able to tell the ute isn't stopping until it doesn't. The light was red for ages for the ute. Red always means stop
To be fair, they were already driving over the line even before the black vehicle had decided to start moving over into their lane. More like they were probably thinking there were 2 exit lanes, and were gonna choose the left lane.
People drive way too close! it's the same here in the UK. Drivers get right in the boot of the car even when you're doing the speed limit, I just keep slowing down until they back off or do Scotty's trick of using the windscreen washers....
I am so sick to fucking death of people fucking up and just waving it off as "sorry my fault". Well no fucking shit, maybe next time actually look both ways before doing anything.
Majority of the time people don’t even take accountability. They will just act like you’re the asshole for beeping at them while they just did something extremely dangerous, or illegal 😂
I dont disagree, but also on the other hand - what do you want them to do instead, get out have a conversation, express their regret and how they will look to do better in the future?? sometimes the faster solution is to keep driving through the mistake, as annoying as it makes us feel.
5:45 not a shock. Don’t you know that literally everywhere except for a tiny window straight ahead of the drivers eyes is “a blind spot”? They are incapable of turning their eyes a millimeter to the side to check mirrors much less turn their head to look beside them. Cars pretty much all have cross traffic alert warnings and beepers to let you know someone is close beside or behind you. Why don’t trucks?
You see a Ranger, just assume the driver is rocking an IQ lower than their age. Then when you remember how stupid the average driver is, realise that that means half of them are dumber than that again.
@12:34 "I didn't give way and now I'm offended someone honked at me! Best course of action is to break check them and give them the finger!!! That will teach em to never honk at my crappy driving again!" - Though process of a driver with an IQ of about room temperature.

2:20 is the DC towing a trailer that's 150 meters long or something? they have so much space to go, but waited until the ute stops. Either way, this is the reason you should give it maybe ten more seconds before cross two lanes, just enough for the car in the blind spot to reveal itself. I'm paranoid of exactly this kind of thing happening. Also 4:20, doesn't really matter how dumb their maneuver is, why is the DC right up behind them? Give the clown some room.
17:16 this intersection is in Woy Woy and it's notorious for these kind of incidents. They happen every single day. In theory if people followed just followed the road rules there wouldn't be any issue, but in practice, for some reason the angle of the two roads combined with the stops signs and the level crossing nearby causes people to lose their minds and forget how to drive. I've emailed the council about this intersection multiple times over the years but they refuse to change anything.

For me, that's just a short trip to the shops along the road that has been deemed the worst road in Australia, year after year. Plenty Rd.
What the??? Why would they do that? They waited for the first pedestrian and the second was clearly there aswell… This L plater and licensed driver should be reported as they almost ran over that person…
2:30 Absolute pelican!! Had more than enough time to go, but waits nearly 10 seconds of clear road before departing, only to jump on the anchors when it realises there is a vehicle in the other lane! Instead of accelerating out of the situation!!!
10:04 I wonder if during Cals epic save, he actually checked the lane he swerved in to was clear as well? It can be a tough choice to swerve and end up hitting someone else while the original instigator zips off leaving you to hold the bag.
He didn't. He says he almost hit the other car, which would be the one we saw at the start of the clip. This is pretty much an admission that he didn't look before swerving, and his tone suggests he was disappointed by his reaction to swerve instead of brake hard.
Having a driver's license is apparently not mandatory, and it seems that this has become the new way of driving these days. Unbelievable that we have to drive on the road with these idiots who think we all have to get out of the way for them.

Yep. This clip annoyed me. Orange/brown car 100% at fault for the awkward closeness. Big man in his big car trying to intimidate the person in the Nissan. Crowded the fuck out of him but the Nissan still nailed the parallel park. Kudos
The Nissan indicated a long time prior and it looks like the kind of street where parking is a nightmare.

@@legatus9081 even with no brake applied that was was spinning very quickly either way.
@@legatus9081 if it had the same tyres on the front as the back you could turn and brake, even Scandinavia flick and the car wouldn't spin

At 14:55. That's in Brisbane in Hale St. That solid white line is virtually completely gone under the bridge and really needs to be repainted.

spatial awareness saves you money and pain. if only it was more common.
To be fair, they were already driving over the line even before the black vehicle had decided to start moving over into their lane.

5:45 not a shock. Don’t you know that literally everywhere except for a tiny window straight ahead of the drivers eyes is “a blind spot”? They are incapable of turning their eyes a millimeter to the side to check mirrors much less turn their head to look beside them.

2:20 is the DC towing a trailer that's 150 meters long or something? they have so much space to go, but waited until the ute stops. In theory if people followed just followed the road rules there wouldn't be any issue, but in practice, for some reason the angle of the two roads combined with the stops signs and the level crossing nearby causes people to lose their minds and forget how to drive. The fact that this channel releases 5-6 videos per month tells you all you need to about the standard of driving.
If you drive often enough, you can see it for yourself anyways.
Far too many impatient people, people running red lights, racing to rush through as the light's turning red, and on it goes.
For me, that's just a short trip to the shops along the road that has been deemed the worst road in Australia, year after year.
