Although the main purpose for reducing your speed when approaching pedestrian crossings are to give yourself more time to react for pedestrians wanting to cross and prevents rough brakes if you are required to give way to the pedestrians.
Hi Omid, What happens if the driver has moved to the middle of the intersection with a circular green light, waiting to turn right but still has to give way to other vehicles and the light turns red before he can complete the turn?

@@phuckhang190 Not really. It was clear that the red car wasn't going to jump in front of us. Although it wasn’t positioned well behind the stop line, it was still waiting to give way. Judging what other drivers are likely to do comes with more driving experience.

@@erna6447Hi Erna, once you move to the middle of the intersection, you must finish the turn, even on red light
If you can see both sides of the crossing clearly, there is no need to slow down. Just drive cautiously and scan both sides
