My Dad just passed away from of 7 year battle with prostate cancer. He was stage 4 when he was diagnosed with bone metastasis. His original PSA level was over 2,000. If any men are reading this, please get your PSA levels checked. It was SO hard watching my Dad fight this disease.
c Flaxseed, white button mushrooms, and a vegan diet have been shown to slow prostate cancer. The difference between no treatment and the use of radiation and androgen depravation appears to be about an 8% increase in survival time for those who are treated Is it worth it for an additional 8% considering the side effects of treatment? Would it be a better plan to use the dietary measures mentioned above to treat recurrent prostate cancer?
@@tnvol5331 That's great information, thank you! Do you think it's worth having the beam radiation or radium 223 for bone metastases to help with pain?
@@tnvol5331Where did you get the information about an 8% increase in survival . Can you point out your source. I think a vegan diet and treatment is the way to go personally for my husband who is stage 4
