I cried during this video because I pray that I can get help with my pain. I don’t know what is going on. I’m only 29 and I always had pain in my bones or body since I was a kid but nobody listened to me they just think I complain. I kept going to the doctor and they send me here and there and say I was just born this way. But today I made an appointment to get a full analysis in my nerves. It’s hard to go to work or stand even for 5 minutes. I feel like my bones are going to break. I try to ignore it because I want to be normal so bad but I hurt everyday and stay home all the time. I hope I don’t have this or something tomorrow I’ll get a referral.

Get your vitamin D level checked. How much sun light do you get on your skin? When I was younger I had deep bone pain-upped my D and it went away. It hurt so bad , my legs would throb at night. Make sure you take vit. K with it. Just a thought-it also helps with winter blues .

I had a friend who was getting a lot of back pain. Her doctor told her to take aspirin. The following year she died of cancer. Many years beforehand she had had breast cancer, which had been cured. It turned out, that the breast cancer had metastasised in her spine. The doctor never checked. Never gave her any scans. That’s the UK NHS for you.

That is so sad. I've just found out a friend who had breast cancer, and recurring cancer, survived all 3 episodes has been diagnosed with bone cancer. She went to Doc with back pain and he initially tested for arthritis 🤷‍♀️ given the patients history why did he waste time. The time wasting for patients who have previously had cancer is awful in the UK, it's costing lives.

I have read several comments and my heart goes out to many. This is one of the main reasons I enjoy "UA-cam". To read others thoughts and comments about very important topics like this one. I too am battling this disease. There is so much more information now than 10, 20 even thirty years ago. There are alternative treatments and procedures available that is not like traditional, conventional, and modern methods. Unfortunately, these methods are not widely publicized nor covered by medical insurance plans. One has to seek information for themselves.

I know my guy has squamous cell carcinoma treated in 2021 to the throat n neck glands. In the year following winter of 2022 he started having back pain. By the spring of 2023 he was having more often pain in his rib area and as doctor in video said itching in the area of spine he later had invasive surgery. In the month of may 2023 he was visiting the hosital sometimes 2-3 times in a week. Sometimes procedures were ordered producing radiology reports that focosed on the area of pain. Pelvic area chest area(he was a heart patient with stents (he was also flown 2x within 1.5 weeks a few months before his 2001 treatment)
Many instances of ER visits between 5/23 and 7/23 that at times he complained of excessive numbing vibrating kind of felling around his mid right rib cage chest pain, crucial abdominal pain and excruciating back pain (especially). The radiating vibration with numbness around the rib with back pain was never truly diagnosed right even though he was a prior cancer patient of head n neck rreatment and had many local network physicians involved with his care it was not paid attetion to even by his primary doctor of who if im correct receives all scans performed, blood work and instruction in education. Thats why a follow up with them is important to do. Oncology post treating doctor passed us off 2nd year scanning. I pushed for answers to help him but most viewed him in ER as either pain medication ADDICT or frivolous. His oncologu treatimg doctors nurse withheld urgent scan referral a few months unitl i called saying their authorizing team was waiting for approval when none wa needed.
This was suppose to be a sense of urgency scan early in spring. Fast forward to last communicatiin with nurse she suggested maybe seeing primary care Dr or maybe an orthoedic Doctor of bones. I could no believe what i was hearing. ANNUAL PET was not referred out soc we called getting it calendared and results showed a distant mets to spine, liver, sternum, pelvic and underarm area close to glands of neck which was mets of tonsil/ throat cancer. His previous primary care Dr prescribed an antibiotic which immediatly spread it to glands and he developed 2 instamt big acorn size lumps. It is incurable and obviously a irreperable mistake on his medical teams part.
He now has rods amd brakets to his lower back but walks around with a walker n excruciating pain for this invasive back surgery that was never spondilities or back spasms, an his abdominal pain not hernias etc or even chest pain unassociated with his heart. He did not need a stress test for his heart doctors. Nor did he need diabetes med switch he needed cooralatiion of the team together. Severely degenerate conditions of spine were seen previously in ER visits. It was Cancer gone out of control and had taken up residence on his spine eating away the bone. These areas after careful research myself point to what should have been spotted at least by camcer center had they listened or not been so busy with their new theme of catering to opening of Breast Cancer Center. Its heartless ro think they had to have known where it could end up😢

We begged her to quit, to go see a doctor. She said no, she is fine. She was not fine, and we knew something was wrong, but never imagined cancer in her brain, lungs, liver, kidneys, and bones. Thank you so very much for putting together a very clear and insightful video on a complex matter. I have been searching for a layman's description of metastasis, particularly how it spreads to bone and what that means and manifests in the body, and for one's outlook. I was of the understanding that once cancer metastasized to the bone the prognosis was terminal. Do you offer consultations or just some explanation help in understanding an advanced cancer diagnosis, similar to what you have done here? It has been very difficult to get certain answers from the treating oncologists and sometimes it's better understood, or heard, when explained from a degree of separation. Please let me know if you can or are willing to help

I hope doc or someone will answer me. Is it really possible to have a stage 4 cancer without symptoms and died right away? My mom passed away last month. She just felt pain in the back 3x when she carry my 1 year old son month of july, month of august we had her ct scan because of severe pain at her back after her 3 sessions therapy and she was admitted 4 days at the hospital because of fractured spine and the doctor discharge her said they cannot see the source or the reason what happened to her spine because all of her test are normal all of her xray ultrasound skeletal survey are normal when she was discharged she looks fine than before because no back pain already or sometimes it will hurt again after a minute it will dissapear, she has braces on her back to front for her back fractured to stabilized the doctor said. My mom actually cannot stand alone walk alone even get up on bed or lay in bed alone she is actually love to sleep on her chair that she can control so she can get up easily. Everyday she is sad she doesnt want to be alone in the room and she likes massage on her feet.. Buf after maybe 2wks she was discharged she los her appetite and almost not to eat the whole day only 3 spoons of rice the whole day and she likes ice tea a lot that time. Then days passed we thought she was fine but she told me to bring her to the hospital maybe she felt weak no pain but she wanna go to the hospital for admission while we are waiting for a vancant room for us i was shock when one of the resident doctor in the emergency room asked what cancer my mom has? I said i dont know, i actually dont know she has cancer we thought she only has spine fractured and we only need to wait her bone to heal itself. Then they gave me a paper and saw the nurses write something what the doctor says and write the metastatic cancer i search it and says metastasis means the cancer has spread. I cant believe it because we just came to the hospital she lays at the bed and she did not have done test that day plus how can she will have stage 4 cancer if she is just fine month ago like no pain at all no sickness at all only pain on back when she carried my son but that was just month ago then right away in just a week the cancer spread like that fast? Is that possible? 1st 2nd day at the hospital she was fine, she can talk she eats, drink, even drink her medicine alone but on the 3rd day she need to go ct scan room nurses lift her from her to bed to another bed then lift her again from bed to the ct scan machine then lift her up again from ct scan machine to the bed then lastly from bed to her room bed and i saw her nervous and cant breathe properly maybe her fractured was hurt because of how many times she was lifted up. Nurses changing her diaper and it always happened that she screams of pain because the nurses did not hold her feet properly did not lift her properly and that was the time that my mom get weak a lot. She's always sleeping and she cant breath properly, she dont eat drink even her medicine she cant take it anymore no urine also then her bp gets low platelets also and the 5th day she passed away while the nurse trying to fix her head on the pillow. I cant sleep everyday i overthink i have a lot of questions i have a lot of why's i feel like my mom was misdiagnosed and focus on their suspect which is the primary cancer because my mom cause of death is neurogenic shock and there is metastatic unknown primary cancer. My mom are my bestfriend and blaming myself that maybe if she did not carry my son she maybe alive today. Im not okay everyday i cried a lot.. I hope someone will help me and it will helps my overthink a lot. Im from philippines by the way thank u in advance

@@laurenclark1480 are you actually seeing an oncologist? Oncologists are usually proactive in getting pet scans and tests done in order to best determine how to fight the cancer. My mom passed away 9/2022, and a few days after she passed I received a HER2Negative stage 4 diagnosis. My mom supposedly had colon cancer, but never saw an oncologist. She was operated on twice due to mistakes made on their part and died as a result. My diagnosis happened in the ER and the following morning an oncologist introduced himself to me, began treating me and visited me every day I was in the hospital until I could visit his office. He didn't give me any other choice other than treatment. I can't tell you the difference between how my mom was treated in comparison to how I'm being treated, but I cry everyday knowing that she died without being given a real chance like me. Knowing she lived a long life doesn't comfort me either, because we trusted a team of Dr's that claimed to know what to do and failed told us that we should be grateful she lived so long. I hope you get the treatment you need, please select the best fighter besides yourself to go to bat for you. It's an exhausting and frustrating fight

I have lymphoma. I had ABVD chemo then relapsed. My PETscan showed my cancer causing lesions in my femurs and pelvis and stag 4. I had more chemo, GDP, then BEAM before having a stem cell transplant. It did help to shrink most nodes as my PETscan showed, but a new enlarged lymph node grew and cancerous confirmed by biopsy. My latest PETscan showed more growth of the first one and two other places, my femur and lower back. I will be starting immunotherapy tomorrow and then will have an ALLO stem cell transplant all with the hopes of remission. My oncologist gave me strict warning not to fall and do whatever I need to not slip on ice during the winter and break a bone. I understand that even if complete remission comes that my bones will never be the same and I will always have to be very careful. Thank you for all the explanations as it was very helpful for me.

We can all have hope even in the face of great challenge. I have cancer and I have no fear, only hope. But I choose to place my hope in things that I have agency over, like improving my relationships with my wife and children and continuing to do things that align with my values and are important to me (despite being paralysed and having multiple amputations from injuries I sustained years before cancer visited me.) I wish you all the best.

Stop eating acidic food for some time including meat especially mutton or beef. You can take antiacid tablets for some day. It happens When your body starts taking calcium from bones to neutralize acidity in your body. ।।

My mother got about 4 years after her breast cancer spread to her spine … she got a slight remission after the initial metastasis when it appeared again at the 3 yr later in her hip and was dead less than a year later… having said that her quality of life during all that period was great reduced perhaps nerve pain from the spine but the last year the quality of life was almost 0 with most of the time in hospital or at home in a hospital bed unable to walk needing a hoist to be lifted. It certainly wasn’t curable once it metastasized to her bones, I guess she was waiting on it to spread to somewhere else like her liver.. she was certainly jaundice by the time of her death.

I suspect she would be a good candidate for microwave ablation surgery. I had it done on a cancerous lesion 2.5cm big. It’s actually a pretty easy procedure. There are some good videos here that explain the process. My procedure was done on a Wednesday and I was playing 18 holes of golf on Sunday just 4 days later. No pain. I pray and hope for your mom and yourself that it doesn’t metastasize to the bones. Sadly, I’ve heard that is a very painful type of cancer. I wish and pray for the best for your mom and yourself.

Doctor, I hope you will be able to read this. My cousin was diagnosed with stage 3 myeloid chondrosarcoma or some doctors also said it is ewing sarcoma and they said my cousin already have it when he was a child. But now that he is in his early 20's, do you think he can still be cured knowing that they said it is already late? I began to feel hopeful when you said bone cancer isn't equal to death. I hope you reply. Thank you.

I would not hold onto hope. The final stage of bone cancer can last as little as 3 months to 6 months...regardless of age. I've seen children die of it.

Whats the difference between osteoporosis pain & bone cancer pain.?

    • @annettegenovesi
      @annettegenovesi 3 роки тому

I don't think osteoporosis causes pain per se. You will feel pain when eventually your bones become deformed and affect organs and other areas of the body.
