Is it significantly cheaper to remanufacture these engines instead of building a new one from scratch? I understand there's the cost of the materials itself.. So if it's cheaper, by roughly how much? And how much longevity would it have compared to a new one? Would it be commensurate to the lower cost? Like, would a remanufactured engine last half as long and cost half as much as a new one?

Cummins Genuine Parts mostly made in China haha. ( Cummins China Parts) Parts quality fuc..... client paying for made in u.k parts but getting made in China.
