Platinum, by the time you add the optio s you want to the lariat, they price out about the same. Byt if you decide to trade them back, the Platinum will fetch better trade values than a lariat, even optioned the same !
Platinum interior alone makes it worth it for me. Better materials inside from what I’ve seen.

No I don’t have that video but my understanding is it is basically a limited slip front differential
That platnum is awesome. I'd probably have enough walleye scales, deer hair and hay in those seats that they'd quit working within months. I can't have nice things, lol. Great interior for most people though!

I have a platinum. I don’t ever and I mean ever use my message seats. This guy is trying to sell the most $$ truck. People just want a good truck at a good price.

I know, right! There are videos that say for a little more you can have the xlt over the xl, or the lariat over the xlt, or platinum over the lariat, or the limited over platinum. Next thing you know you’re paying $40,000 more than you anticipated 😂
Which trim level has the keyfob power tailgate open/close as well as the step tht comes out of the tailgate?
Lariat ultimate will do power steps but I believe platinum for power tailgate
you are right the Platinum is a beautiful truck and those seats are fantastic however I hate chrome so I"d go with a Lariat ultra with black appearance package. I wish ford offered the black appearance package on the Platinum trim level
I agree. I am not a fan of the platinum chrome. I wish they made a sport or black appearance package platinum with no chrome!

King Ranch is more rare and nicer in my opinion, the only thing I wish is that the KR had the led head and tail lights but im going to switch them out on my KR anyways so its all good in my case
I love the KR. I like interior a lot more too than the platinum since you can get massaging seats now!
They're both 20 000 dollars overpriced. You cant convince me otherwise. Good video though.

I bought the lariat ultimate f350 with standard output.it’s hard to justify 12,000 more plus 8.7 sales tax in NV

It really depends. I don't have a need or use for the pro power or the onboard scales (which make the truck trickier and more expensive to level/lift). The upgraded tailgate is nice. Don't care for the wheels (chrome package wheels on the Lariat are better). Painted front bumper immediately needs PPF.
If I did end up with a Platinum over a Lariat ultimate, it'd probably be for the massaging seats 😅
I would get it for headlights , resale better than a lariat , and those seats are awesome
When you say "resale", do you mean to a private 3rd party? Cause I've never seen a dealer give you more for a vehicle just because it's a higher trim level. They give you more cause the initial MSRP is higher but there's no magical additional percentage that gets added.
$90K and a truck doesn't have LED lights all around in 2024.
That is the definition of bending over and taking it.
I think Ford needs to spend another $100M on stock buy backs so the top people at the company make some money on their stock options and you might as well give the workers another 25% raise.
The bigger problem is that even the used trucks are way up there. I just looked and the 2022's are still $70K

It looks weird with no clearance lights it doesn't look good why don't they have them is that now a option to get clearance lights I like then with the clearance lights it looks worse with out them in my opinion never understood why now is it a option or was it always a option.
Thanks for watching! I didn’t know it wasn’t an option. I have never ordered a Superduty with them as I don’t like extra holes in my roof. One more chance of a leak. But they do make them look like a big rig!
@@CTECH-REVIEW true but I thought with the 250s and 350s and beyond all come standard with the clearance lights or is that a no I don't know that's what I'm asking is that new because in previous generations I think they came standard or am I wrong just curious. If you know I would like to know.
I wouldn't mind clearance lights if they were all on a single bar that had like 3 small screw holes, one of which also fed the wire.
But it's these 5 separate gigantic cutouts. No thanks.
