Brand spanking new indeed. So white and clean! This dress is perfect for the 787 (although I miss the little red triangle with the kangaroo on the nacelle). Perfect video as always!
Cheers mate, really appreciate the support! Yeah the new livery does go well on the B787, not sure how its going to look on the A380s when its their turn though!
Great filming wow. I went on the 787 dreamliner Heathrow to Perth non stop. It went up like a ruddy rocket once we left the ground. Holy Moley my first ever flight at 70!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was terrified ah. Same back Perth to LHR. That was november 2023 return December 2023. Hell of an experience.
Spectacular viewing mate as always, great to see the B747 in amongst it to, never get sick of seeing the B747 glad you snuck it in there as well, liked!
Awesome comparison video!! Such a shame the 747 is being retired but the Dreamliner is a nice aircraft to replace it with!! Great filming, love the location!!! Epic quality too!!! Huge like!!
It will be a very sad day when we don't see the 747-400s anymore. The A380s, are starting to be put in mothballs, with Singapore Airlines already sent one into storage, missing the engines. MAS has indicated theirs will be up for sale after Jan 2019, so not sure of other airlines on their stance with the A380, hope there around for sometime. Great catch mate.
Kevy K i think Emirates. With 100 A380s on their fleet, i was think which 777 looks more efficient but Emirates keep their A380s. for MAS & SIA, It's depend their policy.
WNDW ST IND yes I researched Emirates last night, and even though they are buying more of the new 777s, they will be hanging onto their A380s. SIA seem to be buying A350-900s, which I will be travelling on in April from Singapore to Rome. Can't wait. Anyway thanks for your reply, have a great Christmas.
Cheers Kevy, appreciate the support as always! Sure will be a sad day when the 747s are retried. Singapore Airlines are luckily replacing the ones that are being put in storage! MAS on the other hand has never had a good go with them. After the tragedies with MH370 and MH17 their loads have gone down hill and struggle to support the A380s even on routes like Heathrow! Hopefully they prove their worth in 2018 and they decide not to sell them!
Nice shot mate for that 789. I hear QANTAS will fly directly to London using this bird. Previously, 1989 build 747-400 VH-OJA set the record for longest flight London to Australia direct non-stop.
HD Melbourne Aviation well, when i explain this new to few people, one Indonesian people was ask how about income for that direct flight to London. Btw, if Jetstar has smaller -8, QANTAS took -9.
I reckon it'll do alright with income. The 787s are really efficient and the service is direct (the stop over is most likely why QF is struggling to maintain its numbers on its Sydney & Melbourne services.) Only time will tell though. Yep, JQ got the -8s whereas QF scored the -9s!
The Qantas 787-9 VZ-ZNA that will fly to London in March 2018 travelling a distance of 9,000 miles the 747 could only dream of flying that vat and wide.
Nice to see the 767, 747 and 787 all in one! Really gorgeous video quality and filming as usual. Keep it up!
Cheers mate, really appreciate it! Should of added the 717 and 737 to make it a complete set lol!

HD Melbourne Aviation yeah o guess. If the flight works, it might will break new record for longest direct flight in world.

Someday this guy will be going from Australia to England......someday
Man I wish haha! Heathrow and Manchester are on the bucket list!
The 787 was nice but the 747-400 was so much better
Hahaha agreed!
The Qantas 787-9 VZ-ZNA that will fly to London in March 2018 travelling a distance of 9,000 miles the 747 could only dream of flying that vat and wide.
Crazy how much aviation has advanced since the 747s were built!
Wow
