I feel like I should have paid for this course. Outstanding information. I felt like I was in a professional class on shooting real estate photos. Thank you!
Man, I cannot believe this video only has 1K views. This was by far one of the most informative real estate photography videos I’ve seen! Thanks so much! Just subscribed!
Thanks so much! 😊 that means a lot to me. So glad you found it helpful! My channel is fairly new so hopefully other people will catch on and find it helpful as well!
You just have to love the emotionless and hilarious way you explained everything. Loved the video and made a spread sheet with all the info for my first job. Thank you and lots of love
My man, I’m a Realtor and I feel I got more information on photography in this FREE video than I did in 7 days of real estate classes. You leave real estate classes and then you start learning the actual business, I feel I just watched one video and I’m already brimming with confidence. I hope your business is thriving!
Real Estate school is more about laws and buying and selling state laws. Not about taking pics of a house. Videos like this help RE Agents a lot if they don’t plan to hire a pro to take the pics and use the drone and all that. But I guess it depends on what kind of market you are in. Hope everything is going great with your RE business
I followed this tutorial very closely and successfully had my first real estate photo shoot. It was easy to follow. I’ve done everything, including the editing.
I'm a videographer and drone operator who doesn't shoot many stills. A client just dropped an interior stills shoot on me, the night before my main job. So here i am, fully armed, ready to slay it with my A7rii thanks to you. NGL I was panicking... Cheers!!
Great information, thank you for creating this video. As a side note, if you don't have a remote, you can also set your camera's built-in timer to two seconds.
This makes me think I could try and get into real estate photography now! I've struggled with how I could use my photography to earn extra money or do something to earn back what I spend on it and this was a great help to me!
Potentially, I may have my first real estate photoshoot coming up soon. This whole video was very helpful and informational. Thank you for making this!
This is fantastic, so much value. I love your “editing” voice. I do the exact same thing when I am editing. Also side note, my wife designed the Ubbi diaper pail that you guys have. Great choice 👌🏻 Thank you!
So, I've been a real estate agent for 17 years & though I'm good with electronics, I always keep a camera on auto. I forced myself to use your method described in this video exactly. Wow, I can't stop looking at my photos & my client is so happy. Thank you for sharing & being so clear.
Excellent tips , not something I've ever done , but was just recently asked by a Real Estate agent ,who happens to be a relative of mine , to shoot a home she is showing . After watching this ,I can tell its not just about waltzing in and out , this takes some serious know how . Thank you for sharing this .

I have been searching for tutorials on the topic and I am glad that this video came as recommended video. This channel clearly deserves a million subs and like. My wife is a RE agent and sometimes a property may not worth spending the money for a professional to come out (fixer upper) but she still wants quality photos vs something taken with a phone. I have been doing automotive photography for many years and this gave me the info I needed for camera settings, tripod height, etc. You have earned my subscription.
Great video. I've started out doing real estate photography, and whilst I'm pretty decent behind the camera, I have learnt quite a bit from this video. I'm now more confident capturing interiors. As an added bonus, I really pleased to see the tutorial on the use of creating HDR images using lightroom. I always use photoshop and it takes me an absolute age to create HDR files... so this video has be perfect. Thank you!
I'm doing my first shoot this week and you killed it on this tutorial. Just what I was looking for and the first video I clicked. Got bracketing and editing figured out but the camera tips were gold!

Very happy that I found this today. I normally shoot videos for Real Estate but I was asked to do stills today and watching this really helped out a ton!
Hello Mike, I'm in the RE business in France. Actually as a future realtor, and I plan to produce stills and video as well. First many thanks for sharing your knowledge and know-how. So in return, let me share with you and others my recent experience. Yesterday I had a shooting session in an hotel for sale, and put in practice everything that you describe in your video. I noticed that it took me around 10 minutes per shoot, I stayed there 2 hours, so I have 12 photos. It was quite intensive, no time to relax. But it worked quite well. It took me a lot of time in editing because it's still a rookie in the editing software, but the result is very nice, and the customer is happy. What I did as well for every photo was to take one shoot in full automatic mode, no HDR, just to have a baseline, and measure the difference between a raw picture and a professionnal one. I compared as well with the photos taken by the customer. A big difference!
Hey Francois! Firstly, so glad to hear your shoot went well and your client was pleased! I'm happy to hear that I was able to help out in some way. Good idea about taking a reference photo! Also, thanks so much for sharing your experience with everyone. The more we share about our experiences the more we all learn from each other.
I’ve been photographing real estate for years now, so honestly I was just “video stalking” to see what you have to say. I’m impressed by the amount of information you shared in such a short video. I’ve found RE photography to be mostly about problem solving, and your video addresses many of those things - how to shoot in a cramped area, for example. If I can add one thing: I used to use those remotes like you do, but got tired of scrambling for a battery, or trying to find the darned thing! I bought a wired shutter trigger for my camera (FUJIFILM XT-4), so that it’s attached to the camera the whole time, and I don’t have to worry about accidentally losing it. I also photograph pets, especially for rescues, and the wired trigger allows me to interact with the pets, and still get a great shot!
Every now and again I stumble across an amazing video on UA-cam that could genuinely be life changing (if you want a career in real estate photography) I can't believe how much knowledge you have shared here, its outstanding, sending huge gratitude and praise from Wales UK - Thank you so much...

You showed us how to do a professional job without using $13,452 worth of gear and you explained it in an easy to understand way. I'm definitely subscribing and thumbing the video up. Thanks!

Wow! This is so exciting. Thank you thank you thank you for the info and demos. Perfect and so helpful. Sfew!!! My first time for real estate was not the best to me but the assistant was pleased. I want to do better. This video saved me before my next appointment. Thanks again.
Just met a local real estate guy here in my lil town, and he might want me to photograph homes for him. I have done this before barely, I did find your video most helpful, especially the waist high, and chest high shooting. Thanks a bunch!
My head almost exploded. For a 40-ish minute video, the amount of back to back useful info is just almost overwhelming. Not complaining, just super thankful for all the useful info you've shared. Just what I needed Thank you!
Hey, just wanted to echo the comments below; I really like your format for your videos. Equipment setup, then shooting and finishing with editing makes it very easy to follow. Thanks for the great info!
I took notes…backing up and writing for over 2 hours…and the ONLY complaint this 78 yr old Marine has is the “background music”…if you can call that music! Why does everyone seem to think they have to have something going in the background while they are talking?? I don’t get it! Maybe it’s because I was born analog in 1944?! Good job though, buddy on everything else…now if I can just apply it on to my Nikon D750 w/the Tokina Opera 16-28mm f2.8 …I’ll be happy! I’ll use my Nikon 20mm f1.8 for outdoors. Thanks for all the info….just love you young guys making it all seem so simple…it’s encouraging to say the least! :)
Great Video! I appreciate the time you put into this video. I've been doing real estate photography for the past year and couldn't figure out a thing or two that you taught in this video so thank you!
This is a great primer. Thumbs up. Subscribed. I've been shooting RE for only a couple of years and I really think you did a great job of giving the beginner everything they need to get started. The only thing I do different than you is focus. I do not use autofocus. I've tried it, but I shoot a lot of empty rooms in new houses and AF sometimes does not work against a blank wall (and if I don't catch it right away, I end up having to drive back to the house tp re-shoot). So I just set it to manual focus and set the lens to infinite focus. It works great for me.
As an experienced photographer, I found your video to be really interesting. It was an insight into your area of photography and very informative. Thank you. Got to be honest though, I hated the music and I wish it hadn't been there.
Aperture? F 8? Jpeg? All the lights on in pictures? Blinds down? Fun to see the different ways of shooting real estate. This type of edit is what we call "Thailand-edits". Because of the pictures being sent there are edited this way and comes back looking so boring. But if it works it works. Some detailed images with a 50mm or 35mm adds a whole new level. Also of course using RAW and not at all touching the HDR but instead blending them manually. And using a flash :)
Can't believe all this info was free, thank you so much for this video
Glad it was helpful!

Wow! This is so exciting. Thank you thank you thank you for the info and demos. Perfect and so helpful. Sfew!!! My first time for real estate was not the best to me but the assistant was pleased. I want to do better. This video saved me before my next appointment. Thanks again.
Wow! What a great instructional video. This is better than most of the ones you have to pay. Thank you.
Just met a local real estate guy here in my lil town, and he might want me to photograph homes for him. I have done this before barely, I did find your video most helpful, especially the waist high, and chest high shooting. Thanks a bunch!
Thank you so much for this video! I learned so much!!! I love how you broke the information down and let us follow along!
Just shot my first property today using all of these tips. Can't thank you enough!!
The camera settings were very helpful!
Awesome!
My head almost exploded. For a 40-ish minute video, the amount of back to back useful info is just almost overwhelming. Not complaining, just super thankful for all the useful info you've shared. Just what I needed
Thank you!
Cheers, thanks!
Hey, just wanted to echo the comments below; I really like your format for your videos. Equipment setup, then shooting and finishing with editing makes it very easy to follow. Thanks for the great info!
Thanks!
Big thank for this tutorial. Such a good explanation.
I'm mad at myself for discovering you so late ! Really great video, especially the editing part is really professional...Thank you so much !
Such a great video. Watch this every now and then for a refresher
Thanks!
Fantastic!!! Praise God thank you so much for taking the time to do this
First Real Estate session.
Dude. you covered everything for me and you made my job easier
Great Video! I appreciate the time you put into this video. I've been doing real estate photography for the past year and couldn't figure out a thing or two that you taught in this video so thank you!
i love how in depth you described things! thank you so much!!
best video for realestate photografy beginners
This was incredibly helpful! And your house seems super nice to me!
You have answered all my questions. Thanks a lot.
Thanks! Yes exactly, those are the situations where auto focus doesn’t work. I can tell when it’s happening and just switch to manual for those shots.
