Hey BEAT fam! This is not my normal time to post but I couldn't get the video out yesterday. At any rate, this is a video I've been wanting to do for a long time. Essentially this is just a teaching of hell. In this video I break down the three different parts of hell and how to understand all of the words used in the Bible for hell as well as the exact order in which everything happens for believers and non-believers. It’s through Jesus that you are made right with God. if you feel distant, know that you can’t close that gap so the idea is not to clean yourself up (which can never happen.) The way is through Jesus. God is the loving Father, just waiting for His prodigal kids to come home. He is able to embrace you because of Christ’s sacrifice.

Which hell do you teach to the inmates, AO? The hell of Milton's Paradise Lost or the hell of the Bible, where the dead are not conscious (Ecclesiastes 9: 5)?

Heard you speak at Phoenix Youth Con, it was great! I wish more pastors would talk about these things! “Lessons” are good but I feel the breakdown of these things would spark more curiosity and desire to know God more, like Paul at the Areopagus!
Even though it will never happen but I wish that God can give everyone in hell a second chance because it makes me feel bad that people are in hell, especially the good and kind people who didn't know they sinned, or didn't believe in Jesus. It makes me sad to know there are some good people in hell suffering
Luke 16:19 IS a parable. Most bible scholars agree that it is a parable. The reason Jesus used a proper name in this parable was that He would raise the actual Lazarus a week later so He wanted people to remember the name. He was teaching them a lesson so they would remember. Also, another reason we know it is a parable is that the Bible teaches that we will not be able to see the dead or speak to the dead. In this parable the living and the dead speak to each other. We know this can’t be true or the Bible would be contradicting itself.
My thing is… how do we know if the modern day Bible is fully accurate… it’s been re written numerous amounts of times.. scriptures could’ve been altered for personal agendas or things could’ve have been mistranslated. I believe that when the writer wrote about hell was describing a state of mind in a metaphorical way rather than a physical place
My heart is saddened knowing so many unbelievers willing to not believe in Jesus because of what they have seen in Christians lives. I have a friend that is now Buddhist because she doesn't see God working in her life and she thinks all Christians are hypocritical in their beliefs. Please pray for her eyes to be opened. I know hell is real and I don't want anyone to go there but it is the matter of choice, believe or not.
When Jesus went to Hades according to I Peter 3 did he preach to believers or to the spirits of the rebellious people who lived in the days of Noah before the flood?
I'm homeless and I don't beg because we differentiate people who beg and those of us who don't beg... but I guess we should stop looking down on those beggars even though those beggars makes the rest of us homelesses look bad. I should learn to love them as well I suppose. Don't get me wrong, I do feed beggars when they come asking for food... but who in their right mind asks a homeless for food?
Dear Allan the explanation was awesome but I have one question. If Paradise is empty then in 2Corinthians 12, Paul talks of a mn who was caught up into Paradise. Im confused as I assumed its empty. Please explain.
I’m not finished with the video so maybe you’ll explain this, but I’ve always wondered what happened to all those who’d died long before, having never heard of God? Good and bad people? And even now there must at least be some who die as adults without ever knowing the Gospel - what happens to them? I thought I read everyone, even the dead, would have a chance to hear Jesus and decide. What’s your opinion? Thank you for these videos, I’m learning a lot!

Some bad people will go to heaven, some good people will to their surprise find themselves in hell. Most will find salvation, if they cry out for Jesus (or God) to help them.
Jesus' sacrifice allowed all mankind (past, present, future) to reconnect with God, be in heaven. We simply need to acknowledge, there is a God. We cannot reject the notion of God. Rejection of God, means you will placed that is without God. I call that place "hell", the best wording for it.
so.....what about in the book of Matthew when he talks about some getting a light beating and some getting a heavy beating? Does this mean that people who are in torments are guaranteed to go to hell? Or do some pay their "last penny" and go to heaven after judgement? Im confused since you pointed to torments going only towards Gehenna.
I don’t know about Tartarus. Some of the information you got about the angels came from apocryphal works, so I don’t know if I would take that information as being from inspired scripture.
The saints(their soul and spirit)are now with God in heaven. 2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. If I just relied on what this or that pastor has said, though, I would have gone astray already. The lake of fire have not been ignited yet, it will be ignited by Jesus when he returns to earth with the first resurrection saints on the day of the Lord
More evidence that the OT saints went with Jesus to heaven. Matthew 27:52-53 "And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many." When Jesus was resurrected and walked the earth for 40 days, some of these OT saints were seen as well. He then took them to heaven according to Ephesians 4:8-9. Therefore it says, " when he ascended on high , he led captive a host of captives , and he gave gifts to men ." (Now this expression, "He ascended," what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth?
So Tartarus is mentioned once in the NT. It’s context is demons. To immediately jump to the conclusion that this also applies to humans is, in my opinion, a weakness to this teaching.
I believe Hitler will suffer more for his wickedness, the other example, not anywhere near as much, but the littlest torment is a "trillion miles" below the least person in heaven, who is in all joy, probably less than all others in heaven, we get rewards, but is experiencing no torment at all. Pray, for God will hear. Listen, then you'll know.

Angelo Guerra it feels that way too from my experience but I will pray for you my brother as you should pray over yourself the only verse that comes to mind is putting the armor of God over you in Ephesians chapter 6 . I try to remind myself everyday who I’m up against and for God to protect me believe in the dark times you will get through it listen to that tiny voice that’s God.
1 John 1:9. God is just and has forgiven you. You don't have a backslidden heart because you want to return to Christ and He loves you and desires to have you back in the fold. Ask God for forgiveness believe He has forgiven you.

A question: A man is waiting at a crosswalk of a very busy intersection. He hears the panicking cries of a terrified mother behind him. Turning around he sees a toddler running in his direction, giving every sign the child will run past him and bolt into traffic. The man could effortlessly extend his hand and stop the toddler, saving the child's life. He could also prevent the untold heartaches of a mom watching her child die horribly, a motorist's trauma who accidently kills a person, and the grief of every witness, relative and friend. Instead the man mumbles to himself "that kid has free will" and does nothing. Brakes screech, vehicles collide, lives are ruined, and one is lost. _Is that man evil?_ Yes or no.

I think a lot of people have been taught that God is too merciful to allow anyone to go to hell. A popular sentiment I was taught was that "we send ourselves to hell" which puts the onus on us and denies the role of God's white throne final judgment. It was only recently that I learned that there is a Book of Life .That's because there are a lot of intellectuals and pseudo intellectuals who have done a lot of damage to the authority of the bible, and these types have led the people astray.
Interesting...... how was the hell fire idea created by the devil? I have to agree that eternal suffering forever does seem like cruel and unusual punishment , but that's what I've always heard it to be.

I'm 58 and have been a follower of Jesus for many years. I still fall and God is helping me get things out of my heart that I never realized was there. He is teaching me not to focus on how many times I fall, but how many times I get up, repent, give everything to Jesus, and to move forward and grow in Christ and share Him with others.
I know what you mean but I have since learned that being saved is a process. I don't think anyone expects you to get it right in one go. Keep praying, keep seeking God within you, find motivation in scripture and move away from any form of bad influence. You are worthy. Jesus died for ALL of us. Keep your faith and hunger for Jesus alive, sister.

I spend everyday of my life, telling people about JESUS. I think they hear me speaking but they are not LISTENING to me. It saddens my heart because I know the TRUTH and so do they I BELIEVE. They just choose to do their will and NOT GOD'S WILL TALK ABOUT KNOWING THE END OF THEIR STORY.

@@thebeatagp Hi, I too appreicate that you are tackling some of these issues. It would be great if you yourself had a bit more clarity and understanding of the subject matter, since you seem to be a bit confused about the terms here. EG you confused Hell with Sheol. I think the Christian traditional views of hell do not help though, so I think you're trying to wade through all that and trying to add clarity, but it's like trying to clear up mud by adding mud - not going to work. So I suggest we get back to the beginning, start looking at how Scripture uses the terms for Sheol, Gehenna, etc. I think that will help. The best resource on this is at the ministry website of rethinkinghell.com. Highly recommended.

@@jan_777 very easily, there are dozens and dozens, maybe hundreds. Firstly, there is not even one scripture that ever says the unsaved get eternal life. Secondly, all the way back to Genesis 3 we see death is the penalty for sin and God removed access to the tree of Life thus humans lost access to Immortality and became mortal, bringing sure death to all people. The saved get eternal life, the unsaved get death and perishing and destruction: 2 Peter 2:6 "he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;" Jude 1:7 Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire. 1 John 5:11-12 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. Psalm 37:20 But the wicked will perish; the enemies of the Lord are like the glory of the pastures; they vanish-like smoke they vanish away. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 6:40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (cf Luke 12:4-5) Matthew 13:40-42 - “So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. “The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 25:46 - "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." John 10:28 - "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand."

Jesus wasnt talking about a subterranean torture chamber from Dantes inferno as we have been taught. He was taking about Gehenna or the Valley of the Sons of Hinnon outside the city of Jerusalem. He was warning the Jews that they woulf be killed and thrown outside the city to be burned if they retaliated in violence against the Romans. This actually happened in 70ad. That's not to say that there is no final judgement but that's not what Jesis was talking about.
Wow, this is a great revelation. You KNOW, when we get messages like this and it scares you straight back on the right path, that is the Holy Spirit working in us!! I remember many times when God was trying to get my attention and I was working vainly in my own desires and God snatched opportunities away from me, because I was disobedient. I know now from diciplines like this, I am not a bastard of hell, but a child of a loving Holy and Majestic Father God in Heaven!! So when you experience material loss opportunities, it may be God disciplining you about open doors of sin in your life. Pay attention, because our lives here on this Earth is measured by time. And you don't want to waste your precious time on this Earth, because we only have one life to live and then we are judged. So many of us act as though we have all the time in the World to stay mad with folks, act like fools, sleeping around, plotting evil against each other, laughing at other people when their hurting, cursing people out, being manipulative... just acting like the damn Devil. Our time is limited on this Earth! Take heed and live right, forgive and walk in compassion and care😇💞💕 🙏
I hope the video causes people to realize that we as Christians must not be so distracted by the day-to-day life on this earth that we forget about eternity!

Our job is simply this: 1 Peter 3:15 (15) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and *be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear* You say that "preaching to the person or people doesn't really cause to them to understand and see their urgent need for a Saviour." But we cannot inject faith into people, nor can we help them see anything. I'm going to show you a verse that very few churches teach correctly... Ephesians 2:8 (8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and *THAT* not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Take a good look at that verse. What do you suppose it says? What is the *THAT* in that verse? Many people think it speaks of the grace not being of yourselves. But it is in fact the faith. We have zero part in our salvation. Not even the faith is from us. It is a gift of God. Want more witnesses to this? Here you go: Romans 12:3 (3) For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as *GOD HAS DEALT* to every man *THE MEASURE OF FAITH.** Mark 9:24 (24) And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; *help thou mine unbelief.** So you see, our job is to simply preach and always be ready to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. God will give the increase where He wills and will have mercy on who He will have mercy. (Romans 9:18) In conclusion, when I preach, I have no urgency or worry because I have confidence and peace that God is in total control - THE FAITH, BELIEF, HOLY SPIRIT, EVERY STEP WE TAKE, THE MERCY, THE SALVATION - *IT'S ALL OF GOD* Ephesians 1:11 (11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who *WORKETH ALL THINGS* after the counsel of his own will Proverbs 16:9 (9) A man's heart deviseth his way: *BUT THE LORD DIRECTETH HIS STEPS.** Romans 9:16 (16) So then it is *NOT* of him that willeth, *NOR* of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of all wisdom. This scripture suddenly makes sense when you’re told the truth about the Loving God also being a Righteous Judge.
Thank you brother. I have waited many years for sound, clear teaching on this subject, having attended churches that would NOT teach on hell. I had an instant conversion at age 16, having read the whole New Testament but still could not understand what Christianity was all about. Then, someone witnessed to me about Jesus, and explained how he died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and without repenting of our sins and accepting him as saviour we were doomed to a lost eternity. As soon as they said that I received a vision of hell. I found myself floating aimlessly in a cloud of what appeared to be black, billowing smoke, heard the wailings of other people and superimposed over this was an overwhelming sense of loss and separation from God, the horror of which I cannot begin to describe. (This is nothing like I had ever imagined hell to be like. I was expecting fire, brimstone and monsters!). Mercifully, after a few seconds of this I was back in the room and what I had read in the New Testament suddenly made perfect sense. That was the day I found Christ as saviour. I later learnt that Jesus once described hell, as, "Outer darkness where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth". Well, I certainly witnessed the outer darkness and wailing, but not the gnashing of teeth. (Well, 2 out of 3 is not bad in a short vision). This vision was SO real that I used to break out into a cold sweat for years afterwards just thinking about it. Sin is a terrible thing and has serious consequences, but we have a merciful God willing to forgive. That was over 51 years ago and I have been serving the Lord ever since. Your teaching clarifies my experience with the other descriptions of hell that are contained in the bible so thank you and may God bless your ministry.
It is heartbreaking, but I think of it this way: If nobody went to Hell how could you tell that God gave us all choice? People in Hell are proof that God allowed us all to choose whether or not to reject Jesus.

God created it for satan and his angels who followed him, but if we dont have a solid relationship with our Father in heaven by being saved from having to die in our sin without forgiveness from God, then we end up there. There is no mercy there. Only pain and torment. I want to pray for you if thats alright.

*I HEAR YOU BROTHER!* Think about it: The Scriptures teach us that we need to be saved from our sins. But there are also Scriptures that tell us that even if we are saved we will ultimately still be in a battle against the works of the flesh. God knows this which is why Jesus taught us in the Lords prayer to ask for our *daily* bread as well as to have our sins forgiven as we forgive others. John 1 tells us if we confess our sins to God He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. God knows that we need to know this! NOW, there can be the problem with sin addiction. When we are saved we receive the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit. For me it was like an immediate transformation. Paul writes that God is love and in Galatians 5 we are told about the fruits of the Spirit, which could also be thought of as the fruits of God since the Holy Spirit is God: *Love* (the agape Love of God), *joy* (the Joy of the Lord), *peace* (the peace of God), *patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, self control* . I had a major dose of this and was immediately delivered from drunkenness (no withdrawal symptoms), pot smoking (no withdrawal symptoms), cigarettes (no withdrawal symptoms), sexual immorality. I saw women through God's eyes, created in His image and for the ones who are saved, His adopted daughters. I had this sudden respect and honor towards women. I quickly got rid of the porn magazines in my home. Because of all this my entire lifestyle was changed. The Scriptures tell us that we've been set free from a life of sin and all things have become new. But we also come to see that there is a war between the fruits of the Spirit and the works of the flesh. Plus Jesus told us that in this world we will have tribulation. We may be convinced we are ready for trials and tribulations even though we don't really know just what may happen to us. After two wonderful years living for God, sensing His presence continually from morning until night, then a freaky trial came my way. I was traumatized, spiritually confused, filled with anxiety and despair. After months of this it turned to anger and finally rebellion. I committed a sin that I had been set free from and was horrified afterwards. I fell on my face begging for forgiveness, which God granted. BUT, I still had to deal with the damaged state I was in that led up to the rebellion. I was so sure I wasn't going to screw up like the last time, but this horrible temptation began to happen and I'd fall again and again. I thought that God had failed me and they say that one of 2 things can happen: #1 we stop believing or #2 we still believe but live in two worlds. Jesus said we are in the world, but not of the world. As I was slipping I got so that I was like 40% in the world and 60% not of the world. This went on for 30 years! I got so that I was 85% in the world and 15% not of the world (hanging by a thread!). The Scriptures tell us that if we sow to the flesh we will reap darkness. When we turn back to a serious sin God had set us free from, it is like a dog returning to eat his own vomit, and the "second state of the man is worse than the first" (2 Peter 2:20-22). This is why the sin can become an addiction that we can't seem to beat. Well, after 30 years I began to talk with God while going for long walks, and God began to respond in an amazing way. First He assured me that He will never give up on me, and that I need to know that I need not give up on Him. He helped me understand the *Trial* and why it happened and what triggered it. Also God wants us to know that we need to quickly get back up on our feet when we fall. He wants us to let Him know every detail of what's going on in our heads *for our sake* because He already knows. We can say anything to Him. He also wants us to ask Him what He wants us to know and what He wants us to do. See James 1:5-8. He's helped me to see that committing any of the works of the flesh brings darkness and shame and over time he has helped me to truly HATE the things of the flesh. He also helps me understand things about myself that explains why I really have had the problems I've been plagued with. When the Scriptures say "take every thought captive" it means bring those thoughts to God. I now see something throughout the New Testament that I never really saw before. We are clearly shown that God is holy, merciful, filled with compassion and agape love. But in every book the writers speak of suffering and how those who endure reach a healthy balance and a trust in God no matter what. He has endless patience to lead us to that place and will complete the work He began in us when He saved us! I pray in the blessed name of Jesus this will help you. I've been there and I understand! *TRUST* is the key!
Hi Allen. Please could you provide additonal scripture that supports the following: 1. Your explanation that Christians would not stand before God in the Great White Throne judgement? 2. Your illustration that implies no one who sits before the White Throne Judgement has a chance of making it to heaven (As reading through Revelations 20: 12 - 15, the scripture there is conditional i.e. If someone's name is not found in the Book of Life, then they would be cast into the Lake of Fire. Does this not therefore imply that if their name is found in the Book, then they would not be cast into the Lake of Fire but go to heaven?) Thanks in advance.

When Jesus spoke about Gehenna, the valley of Hinnom, He was talking to Israelites who knew what that meant. In the millenium, Gehenna will be in use again. Israelites were scared of being thrown into Gehenna as a corpse (not alive)because they thought cremation would mean that they wouldnt be raised. Thats why Jews today are not cremated. This hell fire teaching is a doctrine of demons.

Jesus used it to show a place devoted to destruction. Later symbolized as the lake of fire which means the second death. Irreversible destruction. Even death and hades (hell) are thrown in it. Gone forever.
Well, depends what you mean by hell. If by hell you mean the place of final punishment after judgement Day, then no, there are not three. If you mean the intermediate state (Sheol, Hades), then that actually goes by a number of names but basically means the same thing - Death.

If the hell doctrine was real, no one would ever return to earth. The parable of the rich man and Lazarus is a well-known parable of Jesus appearing in the Gospel of Luke chapter 16:19-31. It's not literal, Simply because. 1. It Does NOT Support Immortal Soul Doctrine.

It’s real story- only time Jesus used a name for a person, Lazarus -He would know-how does it not support doctrine of immortality? Ppl who go to hell-as the rich man did-will spend eternity in hell- Matthew 3:12 talks of unquenchable fire- meaning the fire(judgment) will never go out-Isaiah 66:24 uses the same words ‘And they shall go forth and look upon the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me. For thei worm does not die, and their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.

It’s through Jesus that you are made right with God. if you feel distant, know that you can’t close that gap so the idea is not to clean yourself up (which can never happen.) The way is through Jesus. God is the loving Father, just waiting for His prodigal kids to come home. He is able to embrace you because of Christ’s sacrifice.

Even though it will never happen but I wish that God can give everyone in hell a second chance because it makes me feel bad that people are in hell, especially the good and kind people who didn't know they sinned, or didn't believe in Jesus.

Luke 16:19 IS a parable. Most bible scholars agree that it is a parable. The reason Jesus used a proper name in this parable was that He would raise the actual Lazarus a week later so He wanted people to remember the name. He was teaching them a lesson so they would remember.
Also, another reason we know it is a parable is that the Bible teaches that we will not be able to see the dead or speak to the dead. In this parable the living and the dead speak to each other. We know this can’t be true or the Bible would be contradicting itself.
My thing is… how do we know if the modern day Bible is fully accurate… it’s been re written numerous amounts of times.. scriptures could’ve been altered for personal agendas or things could’ve have been mistranslated. I believe that when the writer wrote about hell was describing a state of mind in a metaphorical way rather than a physical place

My heart is saddened knowing so many unbelievers willing to not believe in Jesus because of what they have seen in Christians lives.

Therefore it says, " when he ascended on high , he led captive a host of captives , and he gave gifts to men ." (Now this expression, "He ascended," what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth?
So Tartarus is mentioned once in the NT. It’s context is demons. To immediately jump to the conclusion that this also applies to humans is, in my opinion, a weakness to this teaching.

I believe Hitler will suffer more for his wickedness, the other example, not anywhere near as much, but the littlest torment is a "trillion miles" below the least person in heaven, who is in all joy, probably less than all others in heaven, we get rewards, but is experiencing no torment at all. Pray, for God will hear. Listen, then you'll know.

I try to remind myself everyday who I’m up against and for God to protect me believe in the dark times you will get through it listen to that tiny voice that’s God.

A question:
A man is waiting at a crosswalk of a very busy intersection. He hears the panicking cries of a terrified mother behind him. Turning around he sees a toddler running in his direction, giving every sign the child will run past him and bolt into traffic. The man could effortlessly extend his hand and stop the toddler, saving the child's life. He could also prevent the untold heartaches of a mom watching her child die horribly, a motorist's trauma who accidently kills a person, and the grief of every witness, relative and friend.
Instead the man mumbles to himself "that kid has free will" and does nothing. Brakes screech, vehicles collide, lives are ruined, and one is lost.

I think a lot of people have been taught that God is too merciful to allow anyone to go to hell. A popular sentiment I was taught was that "we send ourselves to hell" which puts the onus on us and denies the role of God's white throne final judgment. It was only recently that I learned that there is a Book of Life .That's because there are a lot of intellectuals and pseudo intellectuals who have done a lot of damage to the authority of the bible, and these types have led the people astray.
Interesting...... how was the hell fire idea created by the devil? I have to agree that eternal suffering forever does seem like cruel and unusual punishment , but that's what I've always heard it to be.

He is teaching me not to focus on how many times I fall, but how many times I get up, repent, give everything to Jesus, and to move forward and grow in Christ and share Him with others.

The comment betrays an effort to pick a fight. This is a case of someone needing to prompt Mr. Gill: “Easy there, tiger, just tell us what the text is saying and stop looking for targets.”
With this course set, Gill presses on:

It would be great if you yourself had a bit more clarity and understanding of the subject matter, since you seem to be a bit confused about the terms here. EG you confused Hell with Sheol. I think the Christian traditional views of hell do not help though, so I think you're trying to wade through all that and trying to add clarity, but it's like trying to clear up mud by adding mud - not going to work. So I suggest we get back to the beginning, start looking at how Scripture uses the terms for Sheol, Gehenna, etc. I think that will help. The best resource on this is at the ministry website of rethinkinghell.com. Highly recommended.

@@jan_777 very easily, there are dozens and dozens, maybe hundreds. Firstly, there is not even one scripture that ever says the unsaved get eternal life. Secondly, all the way back to Genesis 3 we see death is the penalty for sin and God removed access to the tree of Life thus humans lost access to Immortality and became mortal, bringing sure death to all people. The saved get eternal life, the unsaved get death and perishing and destruction:
2 Peter 2:6 "he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;"
Jude 1:7 Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

Jesus wasnt talking about a subterranean torture chamber from Dantes inferno as we have been taught. He was taking about Gehenna or the Valley of the Sons of Hinnon outside the city of Jerusalem. He was warning the Jews that they woulf be killed and thrown outside the city to be burned if they retaliated in violence against the Romans. This actually happened in 70ad. That's not to say that there is no final judgement but that's not what Jesis was talking about.

I remember many times when God was trying to get my attention and I was working vainly in my own desires and God snatched opportunities away from me, because I was disobedient. I know now from diciplines like this, I am not a bastard of hell, but a child of a loving Holy and Majestic Father God in Heaven!!
So when you experience material loss opportunities, it may be God disciplining you about open doors of sin in your life. Pay attention, because our lives here on this Earth is measured by time. And you don't want to waste your precious time on this Earth, because we only have one life to live and then we are judged.
So many of us act as though we have all the time in the World to stay mad with folks, act like fools, sleeping around, plotting evil against each other, laughing at other people when their hurting, cursing people out, being manipulative... just acting like the damn Devil.

Take a good look at that verse. What do you suppose it says? What is the *THAT* in that verse? Many people think it speaks of the grace not being of yourselves. But it is in fact the faith. Thank you brother. I have waited many years for sound, clear teaching on this subject, having attended churches that would NOT teach on hell.
I had an instant conversion at age 16, having read the whole New Testament but still could not understand what Christianity was all about. Then, someone witnessed to me about Jesus, and explained how he died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and without repenting of our sins and accepting him as saviour we were doomed to a lost eternity.
As soon as they said that I received a vision of hell. I found myself floating aimlessly in a cloud of what appeared to be black, billowing smoke, heard the wailings of other people and superimposed over this was an overwhelming sense of loss and separation from God, the horror of which I cannot begin to describe. (This is nothing like I had ever imagined hell to be like. I was expecting fire, brimstone and monsters!). Mercifully, after a few seconds of this I was back in the room and what I had read in the New Testament suddenly made perfect sense. That was the day I found Christ as saviour. I later learnt that Jesus once described hell, as, "Outer darkness where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth". Well, I certainly witnessed the outer darkness and wailing, but not the gnashing of teeth. (Well, 2 out of 3 is not bad in a short vision). This vision was SO real that I used to break out into a cold sweat for years afterwards just thinking about it. Sin is a terrible thing and has serious consequences, but we have a merciful God willing to forgive. That was over 51 years ago and I have been serving the Lord ever since.
Your teaching clarifies my experience with the other descriptions of hell that are contained in the bible so thank you and may God bless your ministry.

It is heartbreaking, but I think of it this way: If nobody went to Hell how could you tell that God gave us all choice? People in Hell are proof that God allowed us all to choose whether or not to reject Jesus.

Think about it: The Scriptures teach us that we need to be saved from our sins. But there are also Scriptures that tell us that even if we are saved we will ultimately still be in a battle against the works of the flesh. God knows this which is why Jesus taught us in the Lords prayer to ask for our *daily* bread as well as to have our sins forgiven as we forgive others. John 1 tells us if we confess our sins to God He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. God knows that we need to know this!
NOW, there can be the problem with sin addiction. When we are saved we receive the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit. For me it was like an immediate transformation. Paul writes that God is love and in Galatians 5 we are told about the fruits of the Spirit, which could also be thought of as the fruits of God since the Holy Spirit is God: *Love* (the agape Love of God), *joy* (the Joy of the Lord), *peace* (the peace of God), *patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, self control* . I had a major dose of this and was immediately delivered from drunkenness (no withdrawal symptoms), pot smoking (no withdrawal symptoms), cigarettes (no withdrawal symptoms), sexual immorality. I saw women through God's eyes, created in His image and for the ones who are saved, His adopted daughters. I had this sudden respect and honor towards women. I quickly got rid of the porn magazines in my home. Because of all this my entire lifestyle was changed.
The Scriptures tell us that we've been set free from a life of sin and all things have become new. But we also come to see that there is a war between the fruits of the Spirit and the works of the flesh. Plus Jesus told us that in this world we will have tribulation. We may be convinced we are ready for trials and tribulations even though we don't really know just what may happen to us. After two wonderful years living for God, sensing His presence continually from morning until night, then a freaky trial came my way. I was traumatized, spiritually confused, filled with anxiety and despair. After months of this it turned to anger and finally rebellion. I committed a sin that I had been set free from and was horrified afterwards. I fell on my face begging for forgiveness, which God granted. BUT, I still had to deal with the damaged state I was in that led up to the rebellion. I was so sure I wasn't going to screw up like the last time, but this horrible temptation began to happen and I'd fall again and again.
I thought that God had failed me and they say that one of 2 things can happen: #1 we stop believing or #2 we still believe but live in two worlds. Jesus said we are in the world, but not of the world. As I was slipping I got so that I was like 40% in the world and 60% not of the world. This went on for 30 years! I got so that I was 85% in the world and 15% not of the world (hanging by a thread!). The Scriptures tell us that if we sow to the flesh we will reap darkness. When we turn back to a serious sin God had set us free from, it is like a dog returning to eat his own vomit, and the "second state of the man is worse than the first" (2 Peter 2:20-22). This is why the sin can become an addiction that we can't seem to beat.
Well, after 30 years I began to talk with God while going for long walks, and God began to respond in an amazing way. First He assured me that He will never give up on me, and that I need to know that I need not give up on Him. He helped me understand the *Trial* and why it happened and what triggered it. Also God wants us to know that we need to quickly get back up on our feet when we fall. He wants us to let Him know every detail of what's going on in our heads *for our sake* because He already knows. We can say anything to Him. He also wants us to ask Him what He wants us to know and what He wants us to do. See James 1:5-8. He's helped me to see that committing any of the works of the flesh brings darkness and shame and over time he has helped me to truly HATE the things of the flesh. He also helps me understand things about myself that explains why I really have had the problems I've been plagued with. When the Scriptures say "take every thought captive" it means bring those thoughts to God.
I now see something throughout the New Testament that I never really saw before. We are clearly shown that God is holy, merciful, filled with compassion and agape love. But in every book the writers speak of suffering and how those who endure reach a healthy balance and a trust in God no matter what. He has endless patience to lead us to that place and will complete the work He began in us when He saved us! I pray in the blessed name of Jesus this will help you. I've been there and I understand! *TRUST* is the key!

1. Your explanation that Christians would not stand before God in the Great White Throne judgement?
2. Your illustration that implies no one who sits before the White Throne Judgement has a chance of making it to heaven (As reading through Revelations 20: 12 - 15, the scripture there is conditional i.e. If someone's name is not found in the Book of Life, then they would be cast into the Lake of Fire. Does this not therefore imply that if their name is found in the Book, then they would not be cast into the Lake of Fire but go to heaven?)

During this video, I was hit with the convictions I've been ignoring & wow! The Holy Spirit lit a fire on my rear end to boost my attitude towards others. I admit, I've been very abrasive towards those who are less fortunate & often accuse them of being lazy. I should give instead of deciding who I give to. When Jesus spoke about Gehenna, the valley of Hinnom, He was talking to Israelites who knew what that meant. In the millenium, Gehenna will be in use again. Israelites were scared of being thrown into Gehenna as a corpse (not alive)because they thought cremation would mean that they wouldnt be raised.
Thats why Jews today are not cremated. This hell fire teaching is a doctrine of demons.

Well, depends what you mean by hell. If by hell you mean the place of final punishment after judgement Day, then no, there are not three. If you mean the intermediate state (Sheol, Hades), then that actually goes by a number of names but basically means the same thing - Death.

Sheol is literally just a translation of the grave like literally means “the grave” it not a part of hell
Yes, it's the second death, no existence for the soul, but to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord for the true believers.

Sheol is a broad term, Gehenna,Hades,Paradise & Tartarus are more specific
Gehenna is a place on earth . Hades is after life like a holding place.

I remember learning about Sheol/Hades for the first time while studying theology. The OT and NT are beautifully intertwined.
If the hell doctrine was real, no one would ever return to earth.
The parable of the rich man and Lazarus is a well-known parable of Jesus appearing in the Gospel of Luke chapter 16:19-31. It's not literal, Simply because. 1. It Does NOT Support Immortal Soul Doctrine.
There are videos that proof the theology of hell is not correct.. when correctly translated it is PUNISHMENT not EVERLASTING PUNISHING and lots more on the subject of translation
It’s real story- only time Jesus used a name for a person, Lazarus -He would know-how does it not support doctrine of immortality? Ppl who go to hell-as the rich man did-will spend eternity in hell- Matthew 3:12 talks of unquenchable fire- meaning the fire(judgment) will never go out-Isaiah 66:24 uses the same words ‘And they shall go forth and look upon the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me. For thei worm does not die, and their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.

Just want to encourage all those who are disparing about being on the wrong path that God just used this to call you back, and here you are. He used something similar to call me back, and even though I still sin, He is helping me thru issues & helping me overcome a little at a time. Sin is disappointing, very disappointing!
