I'm really looking forward to your next video on Omni-Man vs Homelander. It's definitely worth watching even if you've read spoilers, because the battle itself is very well done. Also, everyone who knows anything about these two characters, already knew the outcome of that battle even before watching it, so you're not alone there xD
The Boys is great, and I feel Omni-Man vs Homelander is better at getting people intrigued in it. Homelander is so incredibly scary just because of how volatile he is. You can just be scared of him just walking around and smiling just because you know he can be lasering someone in half a second later. His presence is overwhelming.
Definitely. The music dying down a bit really sold it for me, so Thor's hand shooting out of the smoke with a closeup of his angry face and the music exploding back filled me with adrenaline. Amazing stuff.
I will say if you were grossed out by the little gore shown in this episode, then just a warning, the next episode has way more bloody & gory scenes. That being said, Omni Man Vs Homelander is definitely one of the best fights in this season of Death Battle.
If you don’t know, at some point in the past Chad and Ben mentioned that if they ever decide they’re planning to end the series, they’ll do Wiz vs Boomstick as a series finale. So when they have these animated gags where Boomstick shows off a random power that doesn’t really add to the episode or make sense for his character, it’s probably to make that a fair fight, since Wiz’s mad scientist with a secret past running gag/plot lends itself a lot better to naturally having him show off powers and equipment.
tbh I'd be surprised if there was ever a time when they thought about that eventual series finale while writing the segments? I feel like it's much more likely that it's just because it's funny to show off the powers in wacky ways, and so sometimes they have Wiz do it with a gadget and sometimes they have Boomstick do it just because

With the show's popularity and the connections Death Battle has to the creators, they've been consistently getting DBZA actors for their Dragon Ball characters, something most people (at least in the comments section) seem to appreciate. For a lot of folks, this is THE definitive Vegeta voice. In terms of how it relates to Chris Sabat, I agree, it's not the same but has the same qualities you look for.
Remember how some people... myself included... alluded to a future battle where things get bloody, gorey, and (for the weak stomach) "hard to swallow"?.... get ready, because Omniman Vs Homelander IS that battle we were alluding to..... and the phrase "hard to swallow" was a pun. On the plus side, it is a short fight..... because of how much of a curb stomp it is making it less of a fight and more of a public execution.... with no one shedding tears over the deceased evil superman knockoff.
I'm so excited to see your reaction in the next week's death battle it might be my favorite of this season just because the battle itself is done super well without any spoilers but it's probably one of my favorite death battles!

They lowballed Thor by not really talking about his higher forms to make it seem a lot more even. To put this into perspective, this is the equivalent of keeping Vegeta only in his regular Super Saiyan form. It’s still a great fight, though.
They lowballed even base form Thro by not giving Marvel Universe an infinite(or close to it) size and real God Blast destruction powers. God blast make even base Thor legit Sky father level guy with multiversal powers. So yea, even this version of Thor is massive overkill.

They even purposefully left out some of Thor's power ups in the comics during the strength comparison, such as not including the 10x boost from Warrior's Madness as well as a MASSIVE boost from the Thorforce (both of which were mentioned in the black boxes). The main difference between this and Hulk vs Broly as a matchup is 1. Vegeta is still currently weaker than Broly 2. While Thor and Hulk have fought close to evenly multiple times, Thor consistently tends to win more and has better feats of power.
They nerfed feats they presented. For example, the world tree consists of and infinite amount of infinitely sized universes (later, they consist of multiverses, not just an infinite amount of universes, but multiverses).

If you recall the post analysis of hulk vs broly, it said and I quote: “I know what you’re thinking. Hulk could destroy a universe 120 times over while goku could only manage a lonely 9”. That strongly implies that they treated the marvel universe’s size as the same as our own universe while treating the dragon ball universe as much bigger than that. On top of that, hulk vs broly believed goku’s super saiyan blue form was 30 times stronger than world breaker hulk, but here they say world breaker hulk is 10 times stronger than ultra ego vegeta who scales to ultra instinct goku who’s MUCH stronger than super saiyan blue, plus that’s when comparing the highest option for dragon ball with the lowest option for marvel (the dragon ball universe is up to 13 times larger than our own universe while the marvel universe has a radius of at least a trillion lightyears and is nearly 10,000 times larger than our own universe).
This death battle seemed a bit simplistic to me at first. A flying brick Fight if you will But after watching this a couple more times, I especially like just how well done this is. Such a good brawl Omniman vs Homelander is great.

If anything this was a step up from it's DBX counterpart and hell, Vegeta put up a really good fight even though he lost plus the irony here is that when this aired for the public months ago, it was the 11th anniversary to Vegeta's first fight with Shadow the Hedgehog in which he won there and now 11 years later, Vegeta loses to Thor. Next time with Omni-Man and Homelander, well sucks that you got spoiled on it, but it's still a good episode overall and fair warning about that one, if you recall, I mentioned back in your reaction to Sabrewulf VS Jon Talbain that there were two episodes that happened after it that had really brutal ends like the first one was Goku Black's brutal road burn when Reverse-Flash dragged the front of his body around the planet at super speed and the second of these brutal ends happened in Omni-Lander as it's by far the most gory fight on the show's history like hell, it is one of the more gory fights that we have gotten from a hand drawn fight in general which news flash for ya, Omni-Man VS Homelander is a hand-drawn fight so just letting ya know. With that said, see ya next week for the battle between really dark homages to Superman.

In Hulk vs Broly, there was no official statement on how big the Marvel Universe was. So they, Death Battle, took the easy way out and assumed it was the size of our own universe. They determined that Broly would win because the Dragonball Super Universe was 13 times bigger than our own. So Hulk should have won, but we'll see if/when that gets addressed.
Well first off nowadays both Goku and Vegeta would find it cheap to just constantly put themselves in a near death state second as a Saiyan’s power grows higher and higher the less effective Zenkai Boosts become like since at least Cell it's like putting a drop of water into the ocean.
The deathbattle conclusion is correct but the one thing that annoys me is how they excluded super saiyan 1 and 2 from vegeta's strength and speed calculations, if they didn't the result would've been 1,329,000,000 universes since ssj1 is a 50x multiplier and ssj2 is a 100x multiplier which means thor would've been weaker without the god blast. For speed applying ssj1 and 2 again vegeta would've had a speed of 1.5 × 10^24 still less than thor but much closer. Like I said before the outcome does not change becuase the speed difference is still quite large and the god blast would literally 1 shot vegeta, I'm just nitpicking the errors they made which always annoy me. Great reaction, sucks you got potentially spoiled about the next one.
Well it's because Super Saiyan God is a much stronger and completely separate form from 1 or 2 so their multipliers can't be applied to it Blue however is just going Super Saiyan in God Form according to Akira Toriyama so that's a times 50 power boost.
Death battle severely fucked the calcs, Vegeta's spirit fission would've allowed him to counter Thor's energy drain, and vegeta is far faster, Thor's best feats are fighting in Planck time while vegeta fights faster than the speed of teleportation, which would put him beyond linear time. Not to mention how horrendously they fucked up Ultra Ego, It's closer to a 6,000,000 times power boost as it's comparable to Perfected Ultra Instinct
