I will reveal a secret, many Ukrainians went abroad because they no longer have native homes here, from other countries they can vote for their homeland, believe me, all these votes are not out of pity, but from sincere Ukrainians who wanted victory for their country. However, the jury did not give too many points to judge the pity.

im from the uk and i could not be happier with the results!! Ukraine definitely deserved the win, the song is so catchy and ive always loved songs that mix their native language with pop!! and seeing us in 2nd was so surreal, the bbc called sam ryder "the uks eurovision saviour" 😭😭

People always want to exclude the human factor. Though, it always has impact on their decision, even if you don't want to admit it. I love Kalush song not only because it's catchy (I do sing it) and different, but also because of their personality. No fake emotions, no fake smiles, no need in appreciation on the stage and behind it. That's why I also like the Netherlands, Portugal, Norway, same vibe.
Btw, I understand ukrainian, these boys from Kalush are more simple then you think. Totally love it ❤️.

Kurcze trochę zawiodła mnie ta eurowizja. Spodziewałem się, że Włosi o dosyć ciekawej kulturze, sczególnie muzycznej zorganizują coś lepszego jak np Szwecja w 2016 czy Izrael w 2019. To, że wygra Ukraina było pewne i jakoś bardzo mi nie przeszkadza fakt upolitycznienia tego, bo sama piosenka była bardzo dobra

Who decides eurovision in the last decade is are the bets (odds), in relation to the public vote, for example if Portugal in 2021 and this year 2022 were among the 5 favorites in the bets, it influenced and Portugal can received more telephone votes and ended the festival in a better position . Entiendo a la gente que no le guste la canción y lo respeto, todos tenemos nuestros gustos, pero por favor tened un poco de respeto a Ukrania, ellos no tienen la culpa de la política ni de la situación de su país, ellos no tienen la culpa de haber ganado, es una canción muy buena, se han presentado como cualquier otro país con su canción, así que sean respetuosos con ellos y no digan que es tongo. I just remembered why i stopped watching Eurovision years ago, still don't know why i decided to waste my time this year 🤔 It was never really about songs or vocal talent anyway 🙄

You're right but I always watch and don't care about the winner because I know it's rarely the quality of the song that is recognized but to discover new talents even if there are few of them every year!!!! This year Portugal, Poland or UK deserved much more!!!!!
I mostly watch to discover some great musicians to add to my playlists but this year left a bad taste in my mouth anyway. I mean, on one hand it was obvious but I still hoped that people would be more rational... Oh well, I had Cornelia Jacobs stuck in my head for a whole day after 2nd semifinal and it was awesome, hah.

Congratulations Ukraine, it was a wonderful show and a beautiful moment seeing all the love from the best citizens of Europe come flooding in ❤🇺🇦 Very proud of my country for coming 2nd place 🇬🇧🥳 and thank you to every single contestant for giving us amazing performances and a fantastic show. The only thing that spoils it is the bitterness from some fans but it’s the same thing every year anyway. In Eurovision 2022 if you care more about your country losing points than the lives of people losing everything then you need to look at yourselves and ask yourself some serious questions. 🙏🏻🕊

I have no idea what you are whining about, on a normal year this song would have still been top 5 quality _ so FOR EVERY SINGLE REASON it's only beyond fitting that it won. Why don't you focus on the song that you would have wanted to win, instead of spreading negativity?! I can guarantee you that it is a much better strategy to go through life focusing on what we like rather than on what we don't like, try it _and it also helps the world feel a little lighter, kinder and just overall better. It's amazing how some people just thrive on being contrary, negative, unkind, inappropriate and unpleasant.
