I would have preferred one or the other but I prefer realism. You made a good job of it, my uncle made parts for Mosquito's during WW2 in Ponders end North London

Interesting idea. Of course, I'd have bought two Mossies, but then I am a sad individual. 😉

Hey Alex. I also like the idea of two part paint job. Its almost like looking at two different builds in one, and also it shows the contrast between the two paint variants for the same aircraft.

The recon Mosquitos were not painted azure blue, but PRU blue which is a much darker tone. British aircraft at this time were painted inside with a grey green paint not the olive green you have used. I hope this information helps for future builds. Happy modeling!

Cool idea with doing the split paint job. One thing that I'm just dying about though. You didn't smooth out the ejector pin marks. 😢🤢
At first I thought you lost it using German Gray for the tires, but it looks really good. I use a mix of Testors rubber with a touch of NATO black. And I end up with about the same result you had. Guess I need to pick up a German Gray, especially since my Testors rubber is about gone and for some reason I just can't find it any more.
One thing I found interesting is with the "smart putty" for the camo side. I thought the whole point of "masking" it that way was to get a sort of hazy edge/line, but you sprayed the paint under the putty's edge, giving it a "hard" line, or was it still a soft edge and the video just didn't show it that well?
I've been thinking about getting some oil brushers so I don't have to bleed out the oils before using them. Are they worth the price?
Last one. I was wondering what happened with your canopy masking job. You usually do really good, but looked like this one fought you on every pane. 😡🤓😜
I'm really getting excited about all the really great 1/72 kits coming out lately. They are much easier to make book shelf dioramas with an buyers don't get as bad of sticker shock at that scale. And I like that scale for my personal ceiling hangers, because I like setting up little dog fights with them and it doesn't take up much space.
    As usual, another great video.

Nice work, I googled this kit and got this build even though I’m already subscribed to you :). Think I’ll go with the grey and green your build is beautiful but reminds me of Batman’s nemesis “two face”

Very good job ,Alex! Also, congrats for your video skill, they are very instructive.A small observation: Vallejo 71010 is NOT british interior gray-green. BS283 interior grey-green is 71095. Actually, 010 is american interior green, ANA-611.And they are not even close...I wish you all the best!

The Blue one wins hands down. Great video and great advice. It's hard to get that blue paint at the moment so what did you use to make it up. Keep smiling and happy modeling.

Should've bought two that way you could've painted one of each colour schemes ;) I've got Tamiya's 1/48 Mk.VI FB variant of the Mossy stashed away, but dare not build it until i've gotten back into the swing of building models again. Currently building an Italeri Mk. VII Spitfire in honour of my great uncle

Question did you clear coat before applying decals as your using mark fit strong on acrylic paint as I've encountered a problem on ak real colors as the mark fit strong dissolved the paint
