Interesting! I've never had to do a hard reset on my bebop yet but it's good to know how to do it (same method) and what affect it has on the bebop, such as the firmware remained the same and didn't need re-updating, also noticed it retained the total flight time, last flight time and number of flights data and even the last known position gps co-ordinates. I always assumed a hard reset returned it to as it was out of the box? I'm guessing it also remembers any changes you made within the Free Flight Pro app? Or do they get reset?
I actually learned a lot from the hard reset and no it does not alter the updated firmware however it definitely resets everything inside the app except for flight data
You have a grainy image indoors because there's not enough light for the digital stabilization software to process this is a drone that likes the Sun it is not a fan of dark shots or nighttime footage in the slightest it loves sunlight
Quick question...what would cause my bebop 2 to just not turn on?...no wrecks and no water damage and the batteries test fine with a multimeter. I'm stumped.
Awesome video bro. I'm really thinking about buying a used one. What do you think of Pdq fast food chicken place? I know they're from Tampa and they're opening their first restraunt in Ny next to my house in a week. Just curious if you like that place or not. Thanks bro.
Yes 15 second hold, will go through similar process, I just let mine sit 10 minutes and then come start it up, close everything on your phone and then select bb1 wifi, open app and connect with the phone. If using the sc2 still go through it this way and lastly after set up like you are going to fly it with your phone, calibrate the drone then lastly connect sky controller 2. Worked out fine that way for my Bebop 3.0, happy flying.
Hey Dan. My problem is that my Bebop 2 is not going through a complete boot up. It is only doing first half. After the beep, beep, beeps and fan stops, it just sits there with power light blinking. Fan doesn't come back on and go through 2nd half of boot up.
@@glenesis Hey Glen. I tried. Held power for 15 sec and let it sit for a long time. About 15 min before turning off. Made no difference. Still not doing complete boot up.
@@glenesis Glen , Phone shows no Bebop wifi. App says not connected And no drone available. Lower right corner showes 0% battery for drone. No video transmission.
@@Slydad Ouch! If you are comfortable flashing firmware from a USB stick, that's all I can think of to try... I can help with that. That would reset it all. I had to do it once. It's pretty easy. If it's under warranty though, I'd bug Parrot before trying a flash.
I removed the battery during the reset process, thinking that the reset had completed. what can i do to get the drone to reboot? curretly it fwill power on spuraticly and the wifi will turn off and on but for the most part it fwill not turn on . full batteries are used
Unfortunately that sounds like you bricked the unit I don't know if it is recoverable now. As you know parrot stopped supporting the Bebop 2 so you may have just created a huge problem for yourself
@@IFixShet Thank you for your help, I will let you know how I get on Thank you, PS is there any difference between the blue light at the back 2019 version and the one with the red light at the back.

@@IFixShet ok thanks i see somany great vids i started wondering if i needed a new camera maybe its just the light.

Great Channel!

Never heard of that before the closest thing I was able to find was this video. ua-cam.com/video/v7y-pw7zAPw/v-deo.html
My suggestion would be to join the Bebop 2 Facebook groups and ask your question most likely somebody has dealt with this before and can assist you

@@IFixShet Lmao, that says it all. Thanks bro. Prob just another cheap chain.
Are these steps the same for the Bebop 1
Never had to reset the Bebop one so I've never looked into it I'm sure one of the forums can supply that information

Get out of the city
Very good job my friend 👌 like and cheers 😁,, edu 👍

hi my PC is not recognising the Bebop 2 USB port any more, any ideas please, would I lose my videos if i hard reset, thank you.
Transfer the videos over Wi-Fi to your phone through the app
And yes if you perform a hard reset you will lose your video

bro .. is that a grenade right there on the table??
My drone just won’t turn on at all
My drone keeps flashing
That normally identifies that it has a larger problem than just needing a factory reset you need to contact parrot
Aren’t you supposed to delete and re-install all the apps on your phone or tab as well??? That’s what the other guy did?
I didn't have to do any of that
awesome nfo Dan. I like watching your tech stuff you know what your talking about. Cool as heck brother big like from my end
Hey thanks man
My beebop wifi has a password
