As someone going into this with little baseball knowledge and none on Shohei Ohtani this video was amazing! Was able to hang on to every word and feel much more educated on both subject! Would be awesome if a future base-ics could help explain the sport of baseball more so I could understand it better and not feel lost when watching the sport. Fantastic video!!!
I'm not sure if this is a real person speaking or AI ( sorry these days) and the anime girl and all, but this was a very well done summary of Ohtani's career up to now. It's unfortunate with the gambling situation right now. Now I know he is a very focused person to play baseball and he would not care to watch or bet on other sports which is absurd knowing more about him now. Thank you very much for this video!

I realized that I have difficulty in English, and my listening comprehension is as poor as that of any American who mumbles.

If all Americans could speak English as well as you do, someone who speaks English as his or her second language as the international language would get a lot of benefits.
When I run across a person who mumbles, I usually don't understand what he or she says, then I have to say to them
"I am sorry, I don't understand because I have just started to study English" However, I always feel somewhere in my mind that I believe that I understand English more than you wish I did.

World's greatest athlete???? Nope. Greatest baseball player in the MLB...probably. Another case of perspective not based on reality.
Nah it depends on what you define an athlete as. Is he the most athletic person in the world? No. But there certainly is a good argument for him being the most dominant professional athlete in his given sport. To me in the modern era it is a toss up between him and prime Tiger Woods for this definition.
