+Enclavecloud Oh, so you guys fell for that "raid-like mechanics" crap? LOL...if they put that in all the strikes then
1. the strikes would likely be too long
2. they wouldn't have much to put into the Raids
But that's just my opinion. Personally I didn't think much was wrong with Strikes besides some of the bullet-sponge bosses

I personally loved this strike. It was soooo much better then the year 1 strikes. The boss fight was awesome, it was themed with red and blue guys each having their own thing, I was smiling the entire fight lolz they clearly put a ton of effort into this strike.
Please show them your support so they know that we love the direction they're going with Strikes, at least this one.

It was a bad move on Bungie's part to have Fruit doing this strike in the first place, he rarely ever plays PvE, PvP is Fruit's comfort zone.
+Graham Doyle I got the impression that they chose him because they want to 'convert' the pvp players and people who have written off strikes. I personally enjoyed the strike and felt that Mr Fruit took a more realistic approach to the strike - people are gonna run past packs, and look for cheese/safe plays. The fact that he didnt get to skip all that much and the boss fight was engaging were big plusses for me.
The carrot-on-a-stick, the sword, was a bit mean. they teased us all with the sword for the whole stream and only show a block from 3rd person. However, we did get to see how the block worked, and we can also see that the sword is only effective all the time it has 'ammo' (energy I think is the stat on the weapon based off other reveals) - after that it became almost useless except as a cool melee.
The only other part i didnt like was the lack of hunter PoV, especially as a lot of people really wanted to see the dodge and smoke.
Aside from those two points I thought it was a reasonable reveal. nothing incredible that will have people talking for the next week, but it was good nonetheless

This strike was so cool cause these cabal had personality they actually felt like bosses

I get a dark sould 1 vibe from the actual fight at the end of the fight. Notice when they kill the first brother, the other one starts trying to smash you like the one you had already taken out. :) such a cool feature.
Loved everything about this! Some more action during boss fights instead of a heavy amount of adds to worry about. Glad they didn't take out adds all together because then it would be predominantly boring. Can't wait to try this on nightfall!
That buff from the titan's melee looks so overpowered!

I feel like the smashing you into the wall is part of the risk in going against the melee boss. Also, it be cool if in hard modes you can't see the mortar circles

+Dylan Pedder They didn't show off much, could of gone over their weapons and armour and showed off some of the perks and abilities in action. all we really got was stuff we already knew about and a strike that we had already seen part of the boss fight. but I did enjoy it so im happy either way.
exactly. that's why most channels use "Sub only" in their chat if their channel is big enough. only the ppl subbed to them (give them 5 bucks a month) can use the chat function.
+burns0100 maybe if the stream was about weapons, armour, perks, and abilities then they might have shown more of it off. The stream was about showing the strike and that was pretty much it. It was a lot better than any strike we have now in my opinion. I enjoyed it as well, I really don't understand why people are so mad over it

If you listen closely to the music at the last part of the strike, both boss themes combined into a single epic song. That is pretty awesome.

Are you gonna do a video on the weapons you used in the strike? The fusion rifle looks a lot better than the ones we currently have, and all the scopes on the other weapons look awesome

Could you explain why there's a bar in the bottom to level up your light? Light is supposed to be the average stat from all of your gear, and that's set until you change gear. Is it insinuating that we can level up our gear's attack/defense so our light can increase?

+DattoDoesDestiny, what do you think about the fact that the bosses start off one by one?
James Tsai from Bungie said that they did that, because otherwise the fight would de-escalate over time. I don't agree with him though, because if one of the brothers dies, the other one gets his abilities (if I'm not mistaken).
Shouldn't it just be like Ornstein and Smough (from Dark Souls)? Start off with both bosses, then depending one which you kill first, the other boss gets significantly stronger (with the extra abilities).
Right now I feel like the beginning of the boss fight will become pretty stale after a few times (especially the artillery part).

If your on patrol on the dreadnaught you can jump over that door after the tank room in the strike and follow round to that last room before the bombs room there’s a yellow bar boss and you can get an exotic engram it takes a few tries going to orbit waiting a few mins then go back again if you pop a 3 of coins before starting it you have more chance 😊😊😊
I love how they keep saying there's all these new mechanics in the strikes.. Did I miss something in this one, besides the "shoot stuff" mechanic?

+Gio Duude By that logic the entire game is just 'shoot stuff' The problem with old strikes was that they just got boring, you sat in one spot and shot at the boss untill he died. Now you have to be activley cordinating and moving around, whilst at the same time trying to take out the enemies and the 2 bosses. It may not have anything new mechanically but its completely differnt than any other strike we have so far.

Did someone say Solar Nightfall? .... oh god this is gonna be a nightmare. Thanks for uploading this datto, the stream was laggy for me so I missed abit. Can't wait to play this, all the classes work so well together now that I might have to organise my fireteam to each have a different class when we do our runs together.

Why is there a period when all damage to the boss is a crit?
Reminds me of that one Dark Souls boss fight because of the fact that the other one gains the abilities of the downed one.

@datto does Destiny or @sir wallen what I don't understand is why does the Cabal still decide to attack the Guardians? Why not unite in the war against the Taken? Also will we see any Taken possessed Guardians? Maybe to soon to ask but, still has me wondering if this new foe or DLC will be that well written or dynamic.

This strike as a nightfall with solar burn, arc burn and grounded could be really hectic but fun. Also difficult to solo.
Does using the sword heavy put you in third person? That's all I want to know.

OTCStitches i seriously hope they change the Voice for the ghost. mainly remove the filter, let the ghost ACTUALLY sound like Nolan north and not some cheap Peter dinklage impersonation. right now he doesn't sound like NN, this voice could easily be done by another actor and not requre them to spend probably millions of dollars on NN. that Tank line made me Cringe.

Yo dats, do a vid on how much xp it will take to level up. we should be able to calculate that number by looking at how much progress is made on the xp bar after a kill. Might not be accurate but we can have at least have a ballpark figure.
