I had absolutely no idea there were batteries in the thermostat in the apartment we stay in and the maintenance man would change the filter but never once mentioned anything about batteries 🤦🏾♂️ quick question does having no batteries affect the control of heat? I’m asking because it is not blowing out hot air like it has been this just happened last night, or is that a different problem thanks for your assistance in advance
There are so many different systems and configurations that it is hard to generalize here for you. But if your thermostat has a place for a battery and there is no battery or a dead battery then yes that can keep it from working.
help, I changed the batteries on a white rodgers, and yes they were new now I cannot get it to work.??? It keeps flashing stuff, but a/c wont work. fan comes on but its 98 outside. what do I do???
Well sure, if you want to. Meaning, the weather is mild here right now so there was no hurry to turn it back on. So I actually didn't turn the system back on till the next day. But, good catch there. You forgot to hit the ''on'' button when you were done.
Well, mine like many others don't have an "on" switch. But if yours does, switch it back on is good advice.
