@@artemisfowl7332 It would, but the "Job System" is common in JRPGs, going as far back as the first Final Fantasy. You could possibly break out Class from Job and say Job: Caster, Class: Healer, the way that D&D is doing with their sidekicks system.

to be fair to Joohee, the double dungeon, the dungeon break, and the massacre were her previous three experiences as a hunter, for us tons of stuff has happened in between, but for her, after the double dungeon, she just holed up, she went to the dungeon break and couldn't do shit, holed up again, then her first attempt to leave her shell was the massacre, I really want her to keep trying, but I don't blame her even slightly, I'd quit too

She never really wanted to be a Hunter, she just got awakened and saw that as an opportunity to try something she though she might be fit for, but after all she went through as a hunter she realized she aint built for that, she is mentally/psychologically fragile to the brutal things that happens in the dungeons, thats why she said she only get to low rank dungeons, and that's part of her personality, and there's no problem with that. After all not everyone can become mentally stronger to the point of becoming a soldier for example, the same thing can be said for the hunter profession, even if you're awakened that doesn't mean much if you're still incopatible with this type of job.
She likes Jinwoo and internally roots for his success, but now that she knows he's strong enough to fend for himself, she feels like he wouldn't be of much help and wouldn't be able to keep up with his fast fast paced development.
Her relevance would only keep with Jinwoo if she had a reawakening, and even if that happened she would still become way less relevant in the other events ahead.
the amazing thing about this is that even tho she retired she still sometimes take jobs and appears next to Mr. Song atleast in the webtoon.

The light novel and the manhwa didn't have the fight montage. They brushed passed the grinding aspect pretty quickly. I'm glad the anime is making original content to fill out and better-pace the story
i feel like it would have been better to just have pace past it so we get a better cliffhanger and the end of season fightscene can be extended
@@Nakamako1 next ep will adapt the entire fight... Because they have to.
They will need to adapt Chapter 38, 39, 40, and maybe the start of the chapter 41 to make a good cliffhanger for the job-change challenge (the one with unlimited time score, not the bossfight).
I'm sure of that because the current episode (ep 10) adapted 3 chapters (35 - 37), and there is alot of dialogue on these chapters, in constrast, the next chapter are very fight heavy and very few dialogue compared to ep 10, they have just some of Jinwoo's thoughts and some system screens to show. Therefore, I believe that it will be possible for them to animate the entire boss fight in a single episode, since the intention of the anime is to leave the cliffhanger of the job-change challenge for the last episode (ep 12), to get the "Arise" scene and finish up the anime with with a flourish.

That would be one of the best points to end the Season, and before that, people would see jinwoo with his drip coming to his sister's school, and that's such a good thing cuz people will simp even more for Jinwoo and after the cliffhanger they will be excited for the second cour/next season.
Job change in RPG is when you get a new class (wizard, paladin, monk, thief...). Jinwoo doesn't have class right now. so he will get a class finally.

"Job-change quest" is the start of everything. Until now, Sung Jin-woo has made it by the strength of his body and the perks of the System alone. But strong Hunters have abilities, like inherent magics and skills, such as the Stealth that he stole from Kang Taeshik, the Assassin. Jin-woo was given abilities like Dash and Critical Strike by the System, but he hasn't earned his own power yet because he still doesn't have a Class.

You were talking about a game based on Solo Leveling at the start of the video, "Solo Leveling: ARISE". It probably goes without saying, but there could be spoilers in the game.
True, but let's be honest, after the next couple episodes, there isn't anything you don't already know is going to happen until the big guns show up, and I kind of doubt the game will run the story that far other than maybe foreshadowing them. It just hasn't been in development long enough to build out that much of a story mode. Although they might just throw them in as secret vs mode characters or something.

if you really like this, i highly surgest reading the manwha,. it is amazing,. and they do have a few things that are off between the anime and manwha,. so i recommend reading it,. read up til where you are in the anime, or more likely,. read till the end cuss it hooks you,. :D

Alicia I just want to warn you, the game "Solo Leveling: Arise" has spoiler of this Season in the story mode (and in the yt channel videos) you should watch at least until the last ep (ep 12) to start seeing content about that game, because if you do it before watching everything you will get heavily spoiled.

Pretty sure in this world, most (if not all) healers were timid/low-key and didn't really want fighting or violence in general. "Awakening" is random. Most want to be awakened for 'adventure', money or what not, but there are some that the hunter-life chose them.
I don't think they ever mention the sister's friend's power level, but the hilarious thing is that assuming she's an average E rank she could have kicked episode 1 Jinwoo's ass relatively easily (And I guess first day hospital Jinwoo, since she technically did visit him indirectly)

I like how he gave him a potion to 1. cure his wound and 2. test if the potion given by the system work on other than him (remember when you brought the possibility the elixir could not be used on his mother)

Hold up! This man used a potion to heal a scratch but didn't pull one out for his dying homie last episode? Ruthless!
I know this is probably just a joke but some people can take it serious and think it's a plot hole, so I'm gonna explain:
Those potions are way less effective than Joohee's heal, she is rank B for a reason. In the anime he just says "im not gonna make it", but in the Manhwa he said he was beyond salvation because *he lost too much blood* before they arrived to see the situation, and healing can't bring your blood back to the body.

3:19 In the manhwa, the phone call never happened and it seemed like a conclusion she came to on her own, instead of having been pressured into doing it and walked away smiling. I liked the addition of the phone call because it was a good character building moment. But, the fact that she still does move back kind of feels a bit counter-intuitive to the character building moment. Without the phone call, her parents don't seem as awful. I always just thought that she had supportive parents that were willing to let their adult daughter move back in after she retired from a very dangerous job. That's just a personal opinion though. I still loved this episode.
Oh, a Solo Leveling game? That sounds interesting. Hopefully it's not a "stand and cast abilities" type of MMO. Those are super boring. Hopefully it's more of a "hack and slash" type like Vindictus or Genshin!
Oh, also remember when they showed his profile there was a field for Job that was empty. In these types of games when you reach a certain level you can pick out a job or class. Basically it's a specialty that allows you pick out that specialties exclusive skills and might even boost some of your stats.

My only real problem with them hiring hunters and not taking them with into the dungeons - they're effectively hamstringing the other hunters out of experience. The drunks, I don't really see a problem with, but the girl appears to really want to be a hunter, wants the same life that Jinwoo has, but she's being pushed into the sidelines. What happens when she tries to go through a dungeon with another group, or if another hunter party decides to go after them? She's going to get herself killed simply through being unprepared.
Why do you mute? you mute way too much when other dont even bother muting and dont get a copyright strike. at least mute the episode less. you mute 18-23 sec and unmute 5-8 sec.
