Purple or yellow is mixed. This can be especially seen in the red circle club scene. All of the shots fired are count accurate to what the weapon can hold. Reloads are performed when needed. This is also true of the other movies in the series. Keanu is a trained and world class shooter. He has participated in competitions, including the three gun. He does his own stunts and everything in here that you see he actually can do. The series is amazing and the other movies are just as good, if not better! I can't wait to see you guys watch them!

Marcus knew that John would move towards the shot, not away, so he placed it so that he rolled to the side away from Perkins, but TOWARDS the shot. Most untrained people would move AWAY from a shot, but those who are trained would know that, normally, a shooter would overcompensate to the other side, so rolling away from the first shot could put you in the path of a follow up one. It's a small detail, but it shows how much thought went into the movie.

In all honesty I can agree with vigoo he is just trying to protect his son (is he a good man? No- Is John a good man? No both of these two are evils trying to take out another because one evil has bared its fangs on th other) that is what I believe.
What is a good man then? John might not be a good man, but he is a better man compare to Vigo. John is more respectable, and he has his honor for sure.

Otherwise he'd have just shot Viggo then and there...he's proven it multiple times...John gives ZERO fucks about a "fair fight". That's one of the reasons they spend all these movies being so careful about reloading and such. They want to make sure the guns stop getting used only when they're not usable anymore...and not simply because "it's cool to fist fight in a gun fight."

Notice the side flick of the pistol to help eject the magazine. Keanu Reeves invented and fine tuned it and now firearms trainers are teaching it because it has a faster reload time than without.
