you can have high self esteem and have a busy life, but if you really care about someone your emotions get hurt or show. you invest in them and prioritize people if you care about them in the end of the day. Just being busy doesn't mean that someone's better off or have high self esteem.
This advice is so prehistoric! People don't have time to play games anymore or have head fu%k! Effective communication is key and if someone don't feel the same way people cut ties straight away before getting emotionally invested and then it's..... NEXT!

My mother was very successful. Vice President of investment at Citicorp. Very beautiful, classy...the whole enchilada. She always controlled her emotions. Uh no I’m gonna have to disagree with this video because I personally and I’m sure many other women can agree, a big turn off is a man who acts emotionless. The men who truly cared, did not mind when I showed emotions, insecurities ect. I’m not going to act like a robot to get someone to like me. I’m an emotional passionate person sometimes and I’m A okay with that.
I naturally do this with men even if I like them because I’m an overthinker. So when he thinks I’m “ hard to read “ or hot & cold (I’ve been called both) it’s because I’m working things out in my head of how I want to navigate the situation ( for men I like ). Also if I lose the guy I like because I’m being careful I’m fine with it because my self esteem is still intact.
Now this is a strategy fit for me :D

I’m kind of aloof by nature (introverted, only child). She might have just had the same communication style. Observant, chill, confident and doesn’t need validation. Independent, introverted ppl enjoy our time alone so it keeps us less needy. I’m guessing Alex’s extroverted soul just gets thrown for a loop by that.

I think you’re getting being able to be independent and alone confused with being an introvert. To me anyway, they are different things. When I think introvert I actually think of someone insecure, poor social skills, scared to go out, shuts themselves away. Also introverts tend to brag like they are better than others.. maybe just my experience though

I honestly do this without trying and it definitely works!! I don’t trust people easily so it takes time for me to show emotions around them. For me it’s vulnerability so I don’t give any emotions until I am 100% comfortable with anyone

I'm a widow now and my husband never act like this and from day one he said you going to be my wife and 3 years later he gave me a beautiful wedding. This approach may work in the first month or two. But in the long run and for the most part, the female needs to show a lot of love and affection, and a little neediness too. Guys do like to feel like a protector, they like feeling that their women is very attached to them. It makes them feel wanted and needed. If one person is too cold and detached, it can lead the other partner feeling closed off and not be too emotionality invested. You just gotta find that balance; being too unemotional too often can be a huge turn off.
It's not always an approach though - some of us are naturally like that. But you're right. My husband loves my independence but he also really wants me to show love and affection and some neediness too - it is something I have to work on and remind myself.

Operating in your femininity is usually what makes a guy invest and want to protect. Being needy, excessively loving and affectionate is the quickest way to Loosing a Guy in 10 days.... A bit of mystery is keeps them interested.
What you’re describing as “females this” “guys this” is just huge stereotypical outdated rubbish. Men & women aren’t all one way. Most are a mix of energies, men are emotional and needy and women have strong dominating energies within them.
When it comes to the guys who do have very protecting instincts, there will always be some contrasting energy witihin them, meaning they will be turned off by super overly emotional neediness in women & part of them will still find
attractiveness in an aloof strong quiet woman even if they think they want a weak woman.

This makes them obsessed bc you’re going from being super nice and and happy around them to ok I don’t like how you’re moving see you later. No call text or nothing. I promise u they are coming back.
