I like it when bands do this. I really wish they'd do it to all their songs. Have a live recording of the song in-studio--without the audience singing along and over sounding the band. I understand it's part of a concert and all. Which is why I'd rather listen to something in between. I love how this is high quality. It's like sitting in a Muse concert during sound test. Brilliant.
So I always doubted the existence of this "alternate live version" video, I remember 10 years ago only seeing pictures and a small LQ clip of this and thinking it was from a regular live video bootleg or something, but now that it's uploaded on their official channel (and I just find out 6 years after that) then I guess this was official indeed, lol. Amazing. These days I've been watching these old Muse clips and was gladly reminded of why the hell I loved them so much back then.

+Ngel55 actually the song Supermassive Black Hole was not made for twilight, i did some research (googled when the first twilight was made) and apparently the movie was made in 2009, and BH&R came out 2006, but i kinda hate that they put a song that is as awesome as this and put it in a horrible movie, and then they went on with that and made a song specificly for twilight wich i think is the Neutral Star Collision or whatever...

Ok but you have to admit, the KAOSS pad is fucking cool. Especially live - yeah a pwopa solo would probably be better but imo the KAOSS pad is great too - it's distinctive and really hypes you up
Meine Namen while that is very, very true, part of me kinda likes the sound of the Kaoss solo a bit better. But, it's not like that's gonna stop me from listening to this song on repeat for 6 hours straight.
Sxcgothictearsx I got to know the song (and the band) because of Twilight. It took me a while to eradicate all the twilight references from my mind when listening to the song and enjoy it merely by its beauty. It's one of my favorites from the band.

I worship Dominic. His drumming is just too good. I also worship Matt. His guitar playing is fucking incredible. And what can I say? Chris has the most epic bass playing in the whole entire Supermassive Black Hole. See what I did there...
The writer og maker of Twilight, got a lot inspiration from Muse, when she wrote the books. She personally thanks them in every book. So of course there should be a talk about it.
