    Thanks for putting this video together. I haven’t watched all of your videos yet, but will get there. You have inspired me to look into getting a postie bike in the very near future and go on my own adventures, hopefully hook up with other postie bike riders as well.
    Loved seeing your trip to the Cape.
    Awesome guys!

    Hey guys thanks for the vids mate, what year model are the bikes and is there a better year than others, I'd rather stick to a 12v carby bike when I get one. Thanks for all the tips , Seeya Rob

    • @nortz17
      @nortz17  4 місяці тому

      our bikes are all 2006 but all of the 12v models are exactly the same so year doesn’t matter and the parts are cheap.

    I do have one question for you, if you don’t mind. At the slower speed of the postie bike, how did you cope with cars/trucks coming up from behind you? Do you ride on major highways? I’m a cyclist that often rides on major highways here around Dubbo and it doesn’t phase me, but I have the luxury of riding on the shoulder, which I don’t think you can do legally on a postie bike.
    Thanks.

      We tried to stay off major highways but traffic was not really an issue if we had a long trail of cars we would just pull onto the shoulder and let them pass. Most vehicles would just overtake as normal and the trucks were the best they must talk to each other.
