To prevent bacon from curling light your griddle and immediately start placing your bacon on it turn the burner all the way down low and let it sizzle takes a little longer but bacon done ness is easily controlled and oh so delicious. Question why don’t you use right side of griddle to toast buns while burgers are finishing? Never tried a smash burger guess what’s for supper?

How about smash burger 3.0? Chop up some bacon into small pieces and mix in with the ground beef. Add in a little garlic powder, salt pepper and a bit of oil into the mix, then separate into meat balls. I made some this way the other night on my Blackstone and it was seriously one of the best burgers I ever ate!

Quick, to the point, no extraneous info. ***Suggestion for making these burgers: toast the buns, first, so that the meat isn't waiting (and cooling) for the buns to toast.

My fiancé dies for smash burgers on my blackstone. I use a piece of parchment paper between my burger and smasher. Keeps it from sticking to the meat and the smasher. I grind my own meat with my kitchen aid grinder. Put salt and pepper only and my special sauce similar but better than Big Mac. Nice video!

That is exactly how i do my grilled cheese on my 17” Blackstone Mayo and sometimes i mix a small amount of mustard with it, especially if its grilled ham and cheese.

Usual Suspects Seasoning: *This is for our shaker - makes approx. 4oz. 1tbsp salt 1/2 tbsp pepper 1/2 tbsp onion powder 1 tbsp garlic powder 1/2 tbsp Adobo 1 tbsp accent. Add/lessen to your preference!😄😄. We use this on just scout everything! When it comes to Smashburgers, we do find that salt and pepper along so very well also.😄😄. Take care and GRIDDLE ON 🔥🔥

One question please: There's people who say that it's better to hold down the smasher during some seconds (as this two guys did), while others claim, that by doing that, all those juices go to waste (so the hamburger may be too dry at the end). What's the right thing to do?
Hey fam! We know it’s a debatable topic for sure! For us though, we love pressing and holding - it develops the Maillard reaction, which creates a crust of flavor on the one side. When we flip them and cheese them, we pull them relatively quickly to retain a slight pink inside which retains juiciness. So good!!🤙🤙

Gary Carter - coconut water daily will also greatly help with that. Preferably fresh young Thai coconuts but canned will work as well as long as coconut water is the only ingredient. No sugar or flavors added.
I was going to say the same thing about the tremors. I was recently diagnosed with m.s . This is a side affect I have . Although it could be anything . Just concerned 😟. Love and watch all the videos . Excellent job guys . Can't wait for another!!
I did the mayo toast on some breakfast sandwiches recently. I added some dried rosemary, garlic paste and some dried parmesan mixed in. It was for the outside of the bread. It was pretty good.

Couldn't find the one in your video on Amazon and all of them there seem to have big grooves. Turned out great although I need to learn the blackstone and how hot it cooks at, they got a bit more done than I ususally would eat them lol. A quick question though, did you season your press? i had an issue where the burgers stuck a bit to the press. I saw a video with someone who had one with a wood handle that seasoned theirs in the oven like you would a cast iron skillet but with the handle being a rubber/silicone i wasn't sure if it would work, or if its even needed. Any info would be helpful. Keep the videos coming...enjoying the blackstone learning!
I’ve tried EVERY Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Navy Exchange... even Amazon and the Blackstone website don’t have them available [unless I want to pay outrageously high prices!]. I’m glad I don’t have an urgent need...soon enough!

Thank you so much for watching - we were still getting used to demonstrating our cooks at this video's release - we have since included the temps with most of our cooks - our apologies for not listing it! :D We know griddles all tend to vary in temperature. At high heat, this griddle breaks 600 degrees. For a good sear, anything above 550 works great! Good luck and Griddle On, Ann!

Buy bacon that is not injected with water/brine, the junk we get at the stores curls as it is full of water.

My fiancé dies for smash burgers on my blackstone. I use a piece of parchment paper between my burger and smasher. Keeps it from sticking to the meat and the smasher. I grind my own meat with my kitchen aid grinder. Put salt and pepper only and my special sauce similar but better than Big Mac. Nice video!

Did you ever try doing a grill cheese with Mayo on a flat top grill are usually do it that way in a frying Pan just curious if you ever did it please comment back thank you very much and knows burgers do look good I have this 17" flat top with the deep fryer I am just starting to get it going

That is exactly how i do my grilled cheese on my 17” Blackstone Mayo and sometimes i mix a small amount of mustard with it, especially if its grilled ham and cheese.

Usual Suspects Seasoning: *This is for our shaker - makes approx. 4oz.
1tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp pepper
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp Adobo
1 tbsp accent.
Add/lessen to your preference!😄😄. We use this on just scout everything! When it comes to Smashburgers, we do find that salt and pepper along so very well also.😄😄. Take care and GRIDDLE ON 🔥🔥

One question please: There's people who say that it's better to hold down the smasher during some seconds (as this two guys did), while others claim, that by doing that, all those juices go to waste (so the hamburger may be too dry at the end). What's the right thing to do?
Hey fam! We know it’s a debatable topic for sure! For us though, we love pressing and holding - it develops the Maillard reaction, which creates a crust of flavor on the one side. When we flip them and cheese them, we pull them relatively quickly to retain a slight pink inside which retains juiciness. So good!!🤙🤙

Gary Carter - coconut water daily will also greatly help with that. Preferably fresh young Thai coconuts but canned will work as well as long as coconut water is the only ingredient. No sugar or flavors added.

I did the mayo toast on some breakfast sandwiches recently. I added some dried rosemary, garlic paste and some dried parmesan mixed in. It was for the outside of the bread. It was pretty good.

Butter and mayo mixed. You get the spreading and toasting of the mayo and butter flavor. One thing I'm planning on trying is a smashed patty melt.

A quick question though, did you season your press? i had an issue where the burgers stuck a bit to the press. I saw a video with someone who had one with a wood handle that seasoned theirs in the oven like you would a cast iron skillet but with the handle being a rubber/silicone i wasn't sure if it would work, or if its even needed. Any info would be helpful. Keep the videos coming...enjoying the blackstone learning!

I’ve tried EVERY Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Navy Exchange... even Amazon and the Blackstone website don’t have them available [unless I want to pay outrageously high prices!]. I’m glad I don’t have an urgent need...soon enough!

Thank you so much for watching - we were still getting used to demonstrating our cooks at this video's release - we have since included the temps with most of our cooks - our apologies for not listing it! :D We know griddles all tend to vary in temperature. At high heat, this griddle breaks 600 degrees. For a good sear, anything above 550 works great! Good luck and Griddle On, Ann!
