- We review and unbox the Heritage Badlander. Heritages voyage into the world of shotguns! Overall well done by Heritage. Check em out on our website at www.jkfirearm.com
Thumb down! 5 minute video but all we saw is your face for the first 2 minutes!
$800 ? No thanks . Stoeger has been around forever and is owned by berreta . They are less than $500
not comparable
@@offyourocker5622 I know . Stoeger has a way better product.
My Stoeger has run flawlessly for over 10 years. It looks better imo. Why are they not comparable?
@@megarth1 because he has a mental handicap.
Heritage does not manufacture these shotguns. They are imported from Turkey.
Just get to it already.
Interesting to see Heritage move toward another end of the product/price spectrum. I've had a lot of fun with the two Rough Rider revolvers I have.
They have surely increased some prices of their newer products. Obviously some inflation with the cost of materials rising and labor, will result in higher than expected prices on their newer products. Still have not seen much of a price increase in the Rough Rider lineup, which is their bread and butter. I will honestly say, the quality in craftsmanship is there on the newer rifles coming out.
Around $800. I remember when heritage used to make affordable firearms
Have you seen other double barrels?
For a double barrel this is incredibly cheap
Looks good, but for the price they should have gone for Hammers or added some frills to the design, rather get a stoeger.
Is this one made in the U.S. though? I thought they were making these in Georgia?
@@Alaninbroomfield I don't give two shits where it comes from. Bang for the buck is what I care about, fuck American workers.
much nicer product fit and finish than Stoeger. Get your hands on one and you will change your mind
@@offyourocker5622is it worth $700? I’m thinking about buying one
Love the looks of this shotgun but it is over priced. They make a revolver for under $150 but want 4 times as much for a simpler firearm.
Dry firing shotguns can fracture firing pins and many times snaps them completely off because you have nothing to absorb the force . It's apparent the guy unboxing this is a novice. My uncle owned a gunshop and gunsmithing businesses over 40yrs I grew up in and he would have thrashed the floor with anyone who dry fired any shotgun. I personally watched 2 customers break firing pins on 2 shotguns when I was there 2 different times. Bad teaching for people whonate new to such things. For anyone who says it won't break....well, you just haven't pulled enough triggers on enough shotguns 😉
That wooden hand protector is normally called a forend where I come from.
This looks exactly the same as as the Stoeger Coach Gun. Tells me it is probably a Turkish Knock Off
Ooo Ooo !! 😮 Gotta have one.
What about the choke? Is it both CB , or screw in tubes and price ?
Sorry, I may have missed discussing chokes on the video. This SxS does not come with any chokes. Heritage has set the MSRP at 893.00, while we sell them in shop for 800.00
It's cylinder bore so you're better off getting a cheap side by side and sawing the barrels down yourself
@@JKFirearms Do they come with longer barrels say like 26 inch for hunting and home defense purpose as well ?
Why wouldn’t you let us see in the box?
There was honestly nothing inside the box besides the instruction manual and safety storage lock. Figured I would save the 20 seconds of video.
got soured on the pistols so won't be buying anything Heritage ever again
That’s unfortunate. Sorry to hear of that. We sell tons of heritages a year and have not heard of many issues with them. We actually have 12 in our own collection and never had an issue with any. (Knock on wood)
i'm serious the 2 pistols i had would not fire a full cylinder with out a light strike ,,,,no matter what ammo@@JKFirearms
What is the target market? If SASS , does it lack auto ejection? Why not external hammers? Not much info , not much of a presentation
Can I get one of these in a 20g?
Thanks Patrick for the comment, unfortunately we have not seen or heard if Heritage will expand the Badlander lineup beyond 12 Gauge. I guess only time will tell.
They just released one yesterday
Where is the test fire video???
It will be coming soon hopefully! Now that MN weather is cooperating, we can get out and give it a go and see how it fires.
What is the price?
Heritage has MSRP at 893.00, we sell them In shop for 800.00.
What is the choke configuration?
I don't know if I trust firing both barrels with this or not. I fire both out of my stoeger coach gun on occassion, mainly everyone is too scared to do it, but I always have to out do them
lol! It takes some bravery and guts to fire both at same time. They are not very recoil friendly when both are fired. We will get a live fire test done of this model soon and see if truth still holds true!
That is true. It is worth the pain to show off 😀
What about bbl choke???😮
No chokes come with the SxS. Thanks for asking, I may have missed discussing that.
Its cylinder bore . He doesn't understand what your asking .
my 10ga coach is bad ass
Been looking for one.
Was making them till they got to expensive
Where is jt made ?
I think it's made in Georgia.
@@Alaninbroomfield 👍
It’s made in Turkey.
@@knunn5171 they seem to make quite a few arms
No way would i hold THAT in my hands with a shell in it
Let alone pull the trigger
Lol, ok🙄
