- I have a love affair with a certain type of camera they don't even make anymore. I love them so much, I just bought 2 more ..NEW! Still factory sealed. Whatever you like ...or liked in the past, there is a chance you can still buy one new! Not every single new thing in the world is sold. Many end up collecting dust on warehouse shelves. This is a great example, and a review of these two amazing cameras. If you guessed Samsung, you are correct. They stopped making cameras 5 years ago, and to this day, they are still some of the best cameras in the world. I just bought my 4th Samsung NX500 and third NX mini. I demonstrate why in this video. They the biggest and best sensors compared to even professional cameras. In one mind blowing demonstration in this video, I put a Samsung NX500 next to a Blackmagic BMPCC 6K with Super35mm sensor cinema camera and the results might shock you. I accidentally called it an E2-F6 which is a Z cam model I also bought at the same time and I confused the names. The point of this video is not just to inspire you, but to also show you don't need the latest expensive overhyped gear and stuff to take great pictures and video. Enjoy!

I remember choosing the Canon G7X over the Samsung NX500 back in the day, biggest mistake of my life! lol. I pray daily for Samsung's return.

Markus, I gotta say, your channel is the best. A couple of years ago I bought an NX500 with a standard kit lens brand new. I quickly stopped using it because I got jealous of those guys with their Canon 5D mk III/IV. Since I've been watching your videos, I absolutely fell in love again with it. I purchased the 16mm 2.4, the 45mm 1.8 and the 60mm 2.8 and I'm over the moon!

LMFAO. That intro hahaha. Soooo funny. I was beginning to lose all hope before finding your channel. Not having any purple lights available, I figured that life was hopeless. But you've given me hope! Thank you so much for not shooting in 4K and for not following the crowd. You can tell when a person is dumb, because they continuously upgrade their electronics, but can't tell you why. Real artists don't focus on numbers, they focus on beauty.

I started my UA-cam channel 6 months ago. I knew nothing about photography, video editing, audio editing or lights. I learned about Samsung NX mini from you. I bought a used one for $100 and is really great. Most of my movies are filmed with it. Thank you for the good advice!

Just purchased the NX Mini at auction, hopefully it will be in working condition we shall see. Each time is a gamble. Has the 9-27 kit lens, and now I wait for it to be shipped. Thank you so much for all the help over the years. Toying with getting an NX1100 will have to look up the difference between it and the NX500. So fun how numbers can go all over the place. Just picked up a used computer too at auction tonight, nothing close to what you are using, but like you said you use what will get the job done. I'll just have to wait a little longer. Seeing as I grew up in the FLOPPY DISK era I don't mind a little wait. Best to you and Cara for a super 2022 ♥❤♥
I just picked up 2 Olympus cameras from the past. The Olympus Pen EL-1 with the optional viewfinder and the Olympus EM-5 with a couple of lenses. Both money!!! Your videos look wonderful on my iPad. Colors are sharp and vibrant. Well done!

Love this guy, I use older and basic equipment, It works just fine.The gear bought is only purchased if it is needed to enhance photos or makes the job easier

Oh, man! I got a good laugh out of that one! It is sad, but true! You nailed it exactly! Well, except you need to yell or clap your hands at the very start of the video. I've heard that the Samsung sensor is different than others and that the photos are amazing. Glad you found a couple to have some fun with.

28-200 lense on it man I loved that camera it was awesome you could take a bad picture with it, no I really mean it
Sadly someone had stoled it I was super bummed but told myself that someday I would by another one in thinking about starting a UA-cam channel I've got a bus conversion I'm building and thought I should get a nice camera for the channel.

I love my NX-mini which I bought because I was traveling and needed something I could fit in a pocket. I saw your review and I delighted when saw one in a pawnshop in Bogata at a price I could afford. Since then I finished my travels and bought the zoom lens and an adapter to go with it.

I'm currently shooting with a Nikon P520 and am typically pretty happy with it. But I really feel like I want to get something with interchangeable lenses. I feel so lost with what the 'right' camera is that I have temporarily stopped looking.
