    If you're interested in other ways you can use 任何 rènhé, check out this article www.chinlingo.com/articles/601578/
    This website has a lot of awesome, free resources. They have a paid-for section as well, not necessarily recommending or not recommending. But this article should get you a good idea of how else you can use 任何.
    Also, check out the previous video to know of more ways that you can use 一点儿也 and 一点儿都, if you haven't done so already. Enjoy! 😁👍 ua-cam.com/video/Ug-d4jULQtg/v-deo.html

      Thank you for the compliment 😁🙏 I originally was assigned a Mandarin speaking for my church in Montreal, Canada. Later, I married a Chinese girl and we moved to China for about a year and a half. Although we mostly speak Chinglish together, her parents don’t speak any English, which is awesome for me 😉
      Right now I still study HSK material as well as read other books in Chinese, occasionally watch a Chinese movie and attend a church in Chinese.
      One of the things that really helps is having a group/organization that you belong to that a big part of it is conducted in Chinese and having a partner/friend that is willing to speak with you only in that language (native or non-native doesn’t really matter). If the partner/friend is native then great! If not, you’ll learn way faster as two non-natives then trying to figure it out by yourself.
      The reason I’m saying all this is because during my missionary experience most of my companions were non-natives, but I learned fastest with whichever one actually wanted to practice with me throughout the day.
      Thank you for the question btw. I will likely make a video about it in the future. Not preachy, just the process of learning Chinese itself 😉😁

    After watching the videos, I think... I got this. When I go to try and speak with my Taiwanese friend, my mind goes totally blank.
    Super frustrating 😤. Am I the only one who has this happen to them?

    • @learnpromandarin

      I felt the same way when I was learning Spanish last year. I got the idea for this channel off this guy. ua-cam.com/video/iGu6SSH_5gA/v-deo.htmlsi=a8dLW6CrsPTo2LhK
      After about a month of his videos, it started clicking for me. But honestly, I was listening to music in Spanish, listening to the radio in Spanish while driving to work and back, and trying talking to my boss in Spanish as much as he would let me 🤪 (he spoke fluent English and Spanish), he didn't always want to listen to my broken Spanish lol.
      I would suggest (1) watching or listening to as much dialogue (or any Chinese content) as much as possible (throughout the day), (2) combine that with these videos as well as (3)HSK books, and of course, (4)talking to your Taiwanese friend.😉 I promise it'll start to click. Within 3-6 months you'll be able to communicate about a lot of things. Stick to only a couple topics, such as why you're studying Chinese and be able to explain that (both how long you've studied and why). You'll get a lot of mileage out of that before you branch out to other topics. Good luck ! 加油!✌️😊

    • @Soreto23
      @Soreto23 8 місяців тому

      Yes this is natural process, everyone struggle with this. Only people who can read and listen foreign language dont have this problem. I always thought that my english is pretty good, recently I have started talking with people and I found out that sometimes I got big problem to express myself. I mean I always can, but I use sophisticated vocab while speaking my native language, so I also want to speak like that in english.

    • @learnpromandarin
      @learnpromandarin  8 місяців тому

      @@Soreto23 That’s true. I still come across Chinese that I can’t readily express the way I do in English. I usually can describe what I want to say and then a native speaker will share with me the way they would say it. Much better than dictionaries and textbooks 😅
      I still use them too occasionally, but I try to stick with what natives say over the textbooks or the examples in dictionaries, because the style can be a little too 书面的 😉

    HI!
    In the first part of the video, after you dropped 一点儿 & 都/也, you moved the 没有 forward. Does 一点儿 automatically push the verb to the end, or could 没有 have been used in front of the 一点儿? And if so, could the sentence still end with 都/也, or would those move as well? Thanks!

    • @learnpromandarin
      @learnpromandarin  7 місяців тому +2

      This is a really good question, because Chinese is actually really flexible 灵活 when it comes to 口语. I thought about different possibilities when I first started learning. Focusing a lot on the grammar and not on what I was hearing. But now I really don't think about too much about how else it could be said, rather I focus on just what I've heard (or with what I hear over and over in Chinese).
      That said, I think you could say it in a different order and they would understand, but it wouldn't be in line with what they're used to. For example saying 他没有一点儿问题. They'd know what you mean, but they would rather say 他没有问题 He doesn't have a problem, 他没有任何问题 He doesn't have any problems, or 他一点儿问题也没有 He doesn't have even a little problem.
      The other possibility that I was thinking was putting the 没有 after the 一点儿. Such as 他一点儿也没有问题. But I feel, like this wouldn't be as common either. The only advice I can really give about this is to get so used to saying it the way you hear a native saying it, that you can't helped to say it that way too 😉
      But keep in mind, what one person says still might sound weird to another. Don't let that discourage you. The southerners in China always seem to be ashamed of their Mandarin and the northerners seem to be really proud of their Mandarin (this is due to their dialects). So the southerners and northerners tend to believe the northern accent and grammar is closer to the standard. If you mimic that, you can't go wrong. People will say you're Chinese is amazing. That's what I try to do. But honestly, who speaks perfect, clearly enunciated Mandarin, or any language for that matter. I know my English ain't no good sometimes 😂
      I know I'm probably rambling here, but hopefully this helps. 🙏✌️

    • @learnpromandarin
      @learnpromandarin  7 місяців тому

      For question number one, I'll say this, it normally pushes it to the end.
      For question two, possibly, but I don't normally hear it that way.
      This is a little more concise then my last answer. Thank you for the question. I really appreciate it 😊🙏

    It sounds like you are pronouncing 耐心as 耐一心…am I just mishearing you? Or is this like “儿“ - just a regional or colloquial pronunciation?

    • @learnpromandarin
      @learnpromandarin  2 місяці тому

      Good question. I think it’s just the pronunciation that I’ve heard or hear a lot, which may be a regional thing. But I think I only noticed it on the first time I said it. But if you heard it more than once, then it is what I’m accustomed to. Could be a northern thing or just a shěngyáng 沈阳 thing. I’m not sure.
      Something else that’ll happen the more you speak Chinese with certain people, the more you’ll realize what words they smash together or don’t enunciate clearly, which will naturally rub off on you. 😉
