A great step up in gameplay. Not so much in story.
Love this podcast, but i really wish they'd address fan reception and even criticism. No denying that the stories of BL3 and New tales isnt super well received, wish theyd talked about that
Don't wanna be a downer, on the other hand, i wish the borderlands 3 episode was longer!!! I wanna know more bts stuff!!

Love the game and the series but I definitely have a wishlist of changes.
They probably recorded all these one after the other, then just spaced out releasing them to UA-cam.
Besides the story, Borderlands 3 and TPS are one of my, if not, MOST played games in the franchise, from the DLCs to sidequest I always find some fun in it all :]
Can't wait for the Borderlands movie and eventually Borderlands 4!

Different it looks like. Episode 3 has SETEC ASTRONOMY, which is from Sneakers, and ENTERTAIN THE WORLD which is the Gearbox mission statement.

Loved the new environments in bl3,
Would love to see a full athenas planet or takedown/cartell event in bl4!!
Also loved the lectra city vibe and the anvill maps from eden six and promethea..exploring the hidden underground and finding lots of mini bosses to fight Awsome!
To me where borderlands 3 story mainly faltered was the usage of sidequests
Sidequests in 2 allowed us a deeper view into many characters
there were a fair number of handsome jack sidequests in borderlands 2 that helped to deepen his character or otherwise enforce what was already there
For Troy and Tyreen it felt severely lacking
same goes for Ava and the whole deleted scene
add cutscene skipping and give us more cutscenes to deepen the characters you have
and dare to let us get to know characters through sidequests
the DLC's particularly the Chtulhu one did that wonderfully
Can we get shift codes at the ends of these podcasts please.
I've got a lot to say about Borderlands 3, but to keep it brief, it's the best game I've ever played. (So far, I won't be surprised when BL4 takes the crown!)
So glad it's confirmed the Calypsos were based on Die Antwoord's look. Having seen the early concept art, I've been thinking it for a while!
I would love to see the reload of guns fixed
No fun on always having to be distracted with the reload instead of having fun with the game.
I had 1200+ hours in BL2, and I have to say playing BL3 for the first time felt amazing. It was cranked up a notch yet still felt true to the gameplay of 2, yet better. BL3 is just really visceral and I found myself cackling with glee playing it. I was initially disappointed that the BL2 VH's weren't really represented much in the game, but later plays I stopped caring. I love the new characters, as well as the loot drops- a big part of my 1200 hrs in BL2 is repetitive farming, BL3 really feels like something cool will drop eventually so I rarely farm. The Tentacles DLC's environment's look and feel is amazing. Actually the whole game looks incredible, huge props to the graphics team.
