In brief, the steps to install expansion packs are: 1) Attach a pen drive to SX900, export instrument info from the expansion menu 2) Download the packs you want to install on your laptop from the Yamaha website 3) Import instrument info into the Yamaha Expansion Manager (YEM) software on your laptop, you will see SX 900 once done. 4) Import all the downloaded packs from your laptop into the SX900 that you see on the YEM software 5) Finally, export the pack file onto your pen drive from the YEM software 6) Attach the pen drive to the SX900, and import the pack file into the SX900 from the expansion menu and you are done

Il y a des grandes différences de sonorités dans ces différents packs si ces packs sont destinés soit au PsrSx 900 ou au genos.une très bonne continuation à tous et vive la musique 🎹.
What expansion packs are included as I know it comes from Yamaha with 4 of them already so I would be interested what you add on top to compare with other suppliers thank you. I would also be very interested in hearing a demo of the voice guide feature as this is as far as I know Yamaha are the only company who adds accessability options
Good idea (demo of Voice Guide) and also a review if the built in Lesson/Guide options are useful. All reviewers just show voices and styles, so samey.
Compare the specs and the price of both keyboards, try to figure out what your budget and needs really are and by all means, go to a music shop (if this is possible during the pandemic) and try them both out for yourself.
@@HubertEtAlice Good advice, I was just wondering what the 900 had over the 700 and if that was worth the extra money. Budget is not the issue if the features are much better.
@@WysteriaGuitar I'd say for most players the SX900 probably isn't worth the extra money, the SX700 has the same features for the most part. But for some the extras of the SX900 will be worth it. Like: SX900 has a chord looper function SX900 has vocal harmony and vocoder functions on the mic input SX900 has a Display Out SX900 has an extra pair of Line Outs and SubWoofer AUX out SX900 has more powerful speakers SX900 has Sub Scale settings SX900 has ~350 extra Voices, ~120 of these are Super Articulation Voices SX900 has 125 extra Styles, 110 of these are Pro Styles SX900 has 1GB expansion memory (for extra voices etc.), SX700 has 400MB SX900 has 4GB internal memory, SX700 has 1GB SX900 has ~100 extra MultiPad banks
Worthless expansion packs. What about making expansion packs that people need like, pianos, saxophones, etc. for this SX700? Especially the SX700 even 900 that has horrible piano sounds??
@@goodsound4756 I actually ended up trading my Korg PA700 for the SX-700 because the guitar and some of the S.Art sounds are better than the PA- BUT- the PA had a better piano. I think just giving us the DGX-670's piano-room would have been a vast improvement over the default piano on the SX-700. I also have a Fantom 8 and an Inegra 7, so I'm covered on piano, but it would have been ince to have a better one for portable music. My Genos had that CFX grand that was gorgeous, and this is the same OS, so I would think that could be ported over... maybe?

Tthe best keyboard I ever bought
How did you load the expansion?
Hi can you help me how create a playlist so i can have all the song that i need into the keyboard please
Hi, I'm afraid we can only supply technical support to people who purchase the keyboard from us as it is part of the included service.
“This file can not be installed on this instrument” this message is popping up while trying to install the pack…Any ideas ? SX900
Good day sir hope that you are doing good

We have access to basically all the expansion packs and we help the customer pick which ones they might enjoy the most.

Cool. Were are these packs coming from?
we supply them on a USB stick when the keyboard is purchased with us, we basically have access to all the expansion packs for the keyboard.
A&C Hamilton Musical Instruments Thanks 🙏
Nice 🙂
Pouvez vous me dire où je pourrais acheter des expansion country
Tell why i should not buy the psr-sx900 instead...
i feel that would be slightly counterproductive on our part lol
