@@cal1001970 I listened to Vangelis in the sixties with Demis Roussos in their band APHRODITE'S CHILD... and right through to his work with Jon Anderson of YES. Beautiful feelings from his music.

@@BodyBeats242 Agreed. Most professional keyboards can range between 1,000-20,000 USD, some going up to 100,000. For only 40,000 EUR this is essentially multiple organs and a high end pc put into one.
Holy crap i remember this being played as we went into assembly when we went into the big hall when i was about 6 years old, im 39 now and it still hits me, such an iconic piece of music.
This song is often used in comedies for slow motion but listening to it like this reminds me that it's a powerful and uplifting song to be taken seriously.
A song would imply lyrics recorded together with music. This crafty piece of music has no lyrics and therefore it would be more accurate to call it either a tune or a melody
If I hadn't watched the video I would have sworn this lovely masterpiece was performed by a whole orchestra and could never be done by one person but with your brilliant talent and this wonderful nextgen synthesizer you made it possible.
That is one of the features of a Wersi electronic Organ they even build into the design of each instrument voice, be wind or string that unique sound of wind or string vibration. I built a Wersi Helios for an old friend way back in 1980 and is still in use to this day. It gave me such an insight to the working of the organ itself complete with its 32 channel computer registration memory and auto accompaniment.
Vangelis WAS a whole orchestra... though he used alot of MIDI controllers to control all the synths he used... He couldn't read/write in the standard music notations... which meant he had others listening to it and try to transcribe what they heard...

What a beautiful instrument. It is amazing what they do with these keyboards and organs. My keyboard has a full orchestra also and other features on it but this one tops it all. The artists playing this piece is also brilliant
Beautiful rendition. Bravo! I'm sure I'm not the only one here that remembers hearing the original as a child, on AM radio in the car. That is a gorgeous organ. I wouldn't have the foggiest idea of how to use it, but it seems organs have evolved quite a bit since my grandmothers' Lowreys. Quite silly of me to think that electric organs hadn't seen any technological updates over the years...
Amazing instrument, but what an amazing talent, this gave me chills and I want to watch the film all over again, an iconic piece by a seminal contemporary composer, and you my friend have done him justice, this is probably the best cover of Charriot's I have ever heard, completely evocative of that wonderful opening scene on the beach
Wow, i just happened to bump into this video & i was just amazed at how close it is to the great man's version. How this video's got 501 thumbs down at this time of posting? i know that Vangelis would be proud listening to this & you are a very talented person thank you for sharing.
