This analysis was a lot better and a lot more well explainable than the brazillian ones in youtube. They just focus on brazillian styles, the selling point of the keyboard here, but I want to see other functions haha. Thanks for your video
This is one key video out of many, making me buying this PSR SX600 (arriving in a few days) instead of PA-700/PA-1000. I am still playing a 12 yrs old TYROS 3, but like to have this for easy carrying out for gigs.
sorry to be off topic but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my account password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Mustafa Kace I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
SOLD, This guy is amazing and drew some fantastic performance from this wonderful Keyboard, would like to have heard the additional sub woofer as well. Very nice presentation. I’m going to buy one.
This is giving the Roland Jupiter X a run for its money. That one might look fun but this Yamaha keyboard has the ability to create and record full tracks, not just great sounds.
Tony Sir you have given the best practical review of SX600. I'm very excited. Should I go with it or SX700... 900 is out of my budget. So thinking between the 2. Can you guide me some Enchanting differences in both. I'm watching from India.
Great video, awesome performances, great Outrun and Pirates of the Caribbean performance. I would like to buy this fine Yamaha Keyboard as a X-mas present. One important function I would like to have: Can it play mid and kar files directly from a usb stick? How must the usb stick formated FAT? FAT32, NTFS? Thank you very much!
Great keyboard reviews thanks. I have been trying to decide which Yamaha to go for but find that there is so much going on with these keyboards that I am finding it impossible to understand all the differences. Where I live the SX600 is about 700 Quid, the SX 700 is about 950 quid and the SX900 is about 1200 quid - is it worth going for the 900 rather than the 600 or 700? I am not a proficient pianist, but like to play for fun. What are the major differences between these three keyboards thanks!
i think this is good enough, i don't know what you have got now if you have chosen already, but if so this would have been good enough. The 900 has a vocoder on though, but i presume this may have, being as Tony mentioned the on board effects
Nice review. Is it enough of a difference to pick this over sx700 because of this having the unison and accent functions for a more controllable live action for gigs? My main focus is to have more control when playing along with the styles. What do you think? Regards.
Tony, another great video! I’m torn between this new Yamaha and the 2017-issued Korg pa700. Does this new Yamaha surpass the Korg for quality of sounds, speaker volume and fidelity, and user friendliness? I value your opinion.
Hey mate. Well see korg and yamaha keyboards are quite similar. It just depends on your taste of brand and sound. Korg has sounds which sound dry so u have to put the efforts of processing it. Even the styles don't sound feel like a good pattern even the tho the quality is good. Korg is more advanced and more of a keyboard which requires u to work on it and make it sound grt. Yamaha sounds are more sweeter when out of the box and are much better. And it's more simple and easy to use. Korg pa700 is good. If u want a Yamaha keyboard of that range go for the sx700. Hope u find this useful
The only thing I don't like about this keyboard is the fact it doesn't have midi terminals but as I also have a midi controller it's not such a big deal. But for under £1,000 it is still a decent enough keyboard and I would buy one if it was all I could afford.
@@RichardCyberPunk As I posted my comment a while ago I have since come to the conclusion that an arranger keyboard is not worth buying exclusively for midi sequencing. A workstation/synth or VST instruments are better for music production whereas an arranger is designed to be played in a live enviroment rather than a tool for music production even though I used to think otherwise.
@arnoldrimmer4833 Yeah but as I still use midi sound modules and a midi controller from the late 90s I use a Yamaha UX-16 interface which Yamaha still supports, Roland also make decent USB midi interfaces. As long as you buy an interface by a reputable brand like Roland, Yamaha or Korg there shouldn't be any problems. Also since my original comment was just over 5 months ago I have pretty much decided against buying an arranger keyboard "just for the use of multi track sequences" and there isn't really any point in buying an arranger unless you have a use for auto accompaniments.
Is it possible to connect this SX600 via MIDI to a master keyboard or organ, to have the style control for example from 2nd manual of MIDI organ, or voice control with aftertouch? An USB-to-MIDI cable have to be used and on which port, to-host or to-device? Thanks
Excellent video demonstration, just one question for you what is the life spam on those keyboards? I been hearing that Yamaha is not very durable. Please let me know. I really like this keyboard.
Very helpful overview of this very versatile and encompassing Yamaha keyboard. Not sure about purchasing from Great Britain (overseas shipping) but I am looking seriously at the Yamahas in the States. Great playing and excellent demo of an awesome instrument.
Quite a demonstration - thank you ;) Questions on the recorder - does it have step sequencing? (able to record say 8 measures; stop - then start where you left off - similar to Roland Fantom). Also, can you play back a list of recordings on a flash drive - whether recorded from the SX600, or any other source? Thank you -
Tony's keyboard reviews are the best out of all the videos I have seen.
the yamaha psr-s975 got a bit of a bad rep from Jeremy C, but on boners piano it wasn't too bad, so i agree
As you said, all Yamaha's are amazing value. Something like this would have cost around £4k in the 80's and it would never have sounded this good.
Our guy, Tonny, is awesome! I like that he chose Bruce Hornsby's The Way It Is for the first demo song.
This analysis was a lot better and a lot more well explainable than the brazillian ones in youtube. They just focus on brazillian styles, the selling point of the keyboard here, but I want to see other functions haha. Thanks for your video
i THOROUGHLY ENJOYED HIS DEMONSTRATIONS
Tony's version of EJs "Sorry" on the Etherial Movie Style was fantastic!
Great keyboard, I still have my now very old PSR SQ16 which also has a 16 track but obviously can’t compete with these newer models
hold on to that! it is very very rare and it is very very special :)
I think the PSR-SQ16 still sounds really good even today. I personally like the digitized
PCM sounds from the late 80s and early 90s.
This is one key video out of many, making me buying this PSR SX600 (arriving in a few days) instead of PA-700/PA-1000. I am still playing a 12 yrs old TYROS 3, but like to have this for easy carrying out for gigs.
Are you happy with it?
You are super talented Tony .. Im sure even a 90's Casio could sound amazing when you play . !!

@Mustafa Kace It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much you saved my account!
@Ameer Ali glad I could help :)
Great review! These things are so complex, but you do a nice job to show the features. Thank you!!
It as complex as the modx6 but that has better samples.
Without doubt the best instrument demonstration I have seen. Have no hesitation in buying this keyboard on that demo.
Brilliant.
It always sounds great when you play it Tony!
Bryan Eddy g
An excellent instrument and your demonstration is excellent. The only gripe I have is the screen could have been an inch or two larger.
Blimey Tony the Luther vandross was amazing mate..what a player you are lad !
Hi, Very well played, I have the PSR S670 and Still like it.
You played the theme from Outrun there very well ;-) Nice!
YEAH! Actually my first game i bought for our Amiga 500! I was 12 or so :D
Cascada-Every time we touch and others) Keyboard is amazing!
Excellent. Very clear professional and bright.
Superb video from you after a long time with Yamaha product s

Excellent demo's Tony. Thank you.
Wirklich tolle Demo. Viele Sounds gut vorgeführt. Und vor allem ohne die aonst so übliche Affektiertheit.
Und gut gespielt!👍👍
Great & well researched demo 👍

@@allanallen1835 ok. Thanks for your words. ❤️😊
Very good review and rich of interesting information. Thank you a lot.
Great demo of this amazing instrument! Love it! Thanks so much :)
For an inexpensive keyboard, the clarinet sound was amazingly realistic . Thanks for the demoTony!
You outrun us on that playing... :-)
Nice machine!
Hey tony!! First of all, big fan of ur playing. I would like to see a seperate video on the Accent function in detail please

Every single arranger/workstation demo on youtube has Pirates of the Caribbean
Exceptional playing! :)
3:24 Love that Fender Rhodes sound!
Very realistic drum percussion rhythm 👌

OutRun video game music. Good tune.
Can you do a playlist demo in the Yamaha SX600? it seems different then genos, SX900 etc..
Hi Toni I'm thinking about buying the sx 600 but would like to know if it can be connected to a monitor so the text of a song can be displayed.
Great demo
Am feeling every move you are making on that keyboard, from Lagos Nigeria, I never knew this sounds is on that keyboard
Love all your demos Tony. Im a lapsed beginner taking up again seriously. SX600 or SX700 please?
excellent video... I am buying one soon!
i listen to this guy play one arranger keyboard and say i’m going the get that one. i listen to him play another and say no i’m going to get this one.
Is there a firmware update since last year PSR-SX600?

I also miss the midi terminals. Even my 2 older Yamaha PSR-330 / 350 keyboards have MIDI in/out... and they are more than 10 years older......

Nice instrument and explanation. Does it has any Bluetooth connectivity?
No it doesn’t
Hi, great video! Cant the midi from the auto generated accompaniment be send out on midi out so I can record it in my DAW?
Please do a tutorial on how to do programming using sx 600. Please🙌🙌
Great Video - super played
Thanks a lot for this wonderful review. Will you please tell the name of the orchestral strings voice used in this video?
Well done Tony thank you
Great examples and explanations to understand what this device can do. Which isn't easy with those complex beasts.

wow Tony I love ur tone
Does it allow for USB audio recording straight to the computer, without using external audio interface?
is it true that Adapter is not included?

would you suggest this over a DGX 670?
Please please please guide me SX600 or S770 which one is better?
I've just ordered one
Did you get it? How is it
Hi! Great video. What is the name of the songs at 13:51 and 15:31 ? They are beautiful but I can't remember the names.
Pirates of Caribbean theme song
2nd one I’m not sure
Can the 1 ' Free Style ' be Re Voiced and saved to a Memory Slot ?
Great Demo by the way
Wonderful! Thank You!
I hope the key action is not like the psr e range just to light
did you play passing breaze? You are number one!
Please give demo for psr 700
How many piano presets can I use simultaneously?
2
What is the name of the song at 9:00 ?
Very nice in-depth review.
van morrisson moon dance ;)
Do you provide lessons on the per sx 600 keyboard?
Very good Video, thank you
I have a Pa700 and i am thinking to change it before this
Did you?
Yaaaay, OUTRUN music! \o/
Can I import midi into this and use it?
Sx600 vs psr s910 which one sound good?
The sx600 or the sx700/900 are great options then the way older s910
Same sound good, but the sx600 has a new nice rich piano same those in clavinova
