- I will be going over the entire fight, so if you want to experience the fight blind I recommend stopping the video and downloading it for yourself, as there are a couple of surprises in here. There are also a couple of interactions I didn't encounter in my playthrough.

I absolutely love how The Koopamancer starts as a genuinely intimidating threat, both in character and gameplay. But once you force him into a corner, he completely falls apart.
What a heck of a punchline. 😂
First he restores his hp by about 50, the he basically restarts the fight?! If him possessing Blubba didn’t quicken the battle, I’d say this whole fight was BS 😂
Yeah the third and fourth phases are basically joke phases. It's meant to scare the player into thinking: "Do I really need to kill this guy a third time at full HP"?! But his spirit form deals only 2 damage a single time and his possession phase is over within a single fire attack.
He just said "THIS ISN'T EVEN MY FINAL FORM AHHHHHHHHH... S@#$ IT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING!"

This character is pretty great, and love all the animation work you put into him. The comic relief last phase is also really funny. I'm glad you went the route of saying that the skeletal Tubba was an ancestor of Tubba Blubba and not the real one we know, it was a nice touch. I really like all the lifesteal effects on his attacks, the necromancy, all of it has a lot of love and care put into it!
Gameplay wise he's a bit of a HP sponge but it's hard to make anything challenging in this engine for endgame content without going too overboard.
Absolutely LOVE the remixed Ghost Gulpping! This is my favorite song in paper mario 64

I find it weird that a Fire Flower that normally does 3 damage managed to do 13 to a Dry Bones.
Dry Bones are extremely weak to fire and explosives in the original Paper Mario game

Thanks! For the first 2 weeks I came up with the concept and casually created some of the sprites, animations and getting back into the whole modding thing. In the last 2 weeks I spent around 4-9 hours a day working on it every day. So probably close to 70 hours or so

Yeah I spent 4 weeks on the fight itself, and was done with it 1 day before the deadline, so couldn't do anything special for defeating him haha

I'm trying to play in android, but the patched file is not showing. What should i do? I use mupen 64 plus fz
Interesting, never tried playing it on Android. Not sure how the patching would work with that. If the patching process doesn't work on your phone than maybe you could try to access a PC, patch the rom there, and put that patched ROM on your phone.

I made basically everything you see here from sprites to animations to programming, it's a custom boss fight you can play yourself if you want to

@@johnrainsman6650 If you mean like a commission, especially on the level of this, then it would be too expensive as this entire fight took me close to 100 hours to create. And this is too much work for me to take a request for free

It's purely this boss fight. It was made for the Paper Mario Modding Jam where the objective was to create a single boss fight.
