What an awesome mod, and as always a great show making bosses into paper pulp! (The disrespect of that coconut kill was really something, got a genuine laugh out of me!)
I know this is a mod, but it amazes me how much strategy and system exploitation people put into playing 64 and TTYD. I just brute forced my way through those games.
i really wish they update the battle won music and also TURNED DOWN THE VOLUME ON THE NORMAL BATTLE MUSIC TOO *OR LET US CHANGE THE BATTLE MUSIC TO 64’s*
Aye Koops, what do you think about all the footage and info we've been getting about the TTYD remake these days? And as a veteran TTYD player, do you think that the remake being 30 FPS is a big deal?
Man this makes me excited to get to be able to play the TTYD REMAKE when I get it I think the game will actually make me learn strategies instead of how I played 64 which my go to move was just “Hehe Goombario Charge” And I’m not joking btw literally any boss fight I came across in 64 I just used charged and Goombario and NOTHING else, No items, no other partners (expect for Bow on Tubba’s Heart)
I dunno if it's his placement, lag from the background, or what, but for some reason I am HORRIBLE at hitting my action commands for jumps on him. I'm fine with everything else, just him specicifically
If you struggle with Lava Piranha, these strategies completely cheese it: -Phase 1: Fire Shield + Chill Out (star power) means the Lava Buds deal 0 damage, and LP deals 1 if unblocked. Sushie's Water Block could substitute Fire Shield if you wanted to be 100% invincible, since it gives +2 defense against fire. -Phase 2: Sushie's Tidal Wave, an Ice Power Multibounce, or a Snowman Doll deals bonus damage and stuns them all for 2 turns (turn 1 stun, turn 2 re-ignite). If hitting the jump commands is tricky (meaning you might miss), Tidal Wave it is guaranteed to work, even if you get low damage from it (as long as you have enough FP or FP-recovery items). Using these should result in 0 damage taken (or close to 0), even if it's not "optimal" by high-skilled standards.
Bow actually cannot damage Final Bowser at all. His 2 defense makes him immune to both normal smack and fan smack. All she can do is hide Mario so neither of them get hurt.
In TTYD64, she has to have a attack of 3 or higher to damage the Final Bowser and other enemies / bosses with 2 defense. This can be achieved with Badges and Item that increase her attack such as Power Plus P, Power Rush P, Mega Rush P-up, D-Down P, etc.
If I were to put 64’s chapter boss themes over TTYD’s battles, I’d arrange them based on how well I think they’d fit: Huff N Puff over Blooper Lava Piranha over Hooktail Tubba Blubba over Magnus Von Grapple Koopa Bros over Macho Grubba Goomba King over Doopliss Tutankoopa over Cortez General Guy over Smorg Crystal King over Magnus Von Grapple 2.0 Bowser over Shadow Queen(both phases) What do you all think of these?
@@JimiKlenczon-or3ck I changed Lord Crump to Blooper, because it’s really Blooper who’d be the prologue chapter boss since he’s like, right before the entrance to chapter 1. But why doesn’t my choice for Macho Grubba work?
@@fridaynightfunkinfan5627 Sounds way too upbeat. Macho Grubba is a way more dangerous threat than the Koopa Bros and the Koopa Bros boss theme doesn't reflect that.

Personally, I don't mind 30 FPS. It's fine.
The devs did adjust the action command frames to compensate, so not really an issue
22:30 He got bonked by the coconut
7:18 “Trash Charge”, does this mod not fix Hammer being kinda worthless in PM64?
It turns it into a charge for any category, and it's in the Actions menu, just like ttyd. Multibounce/Power Bounce are the reason he said that tho.
But you could argue that hammer is still pretty useless aside from fire drive.
Edit: If it exists, that is.
Dude Huff n Puffs theme didn't have to just go in like that
Kinda wished this had the Magikoopa fight for the lucky star, because it's probably one of the hardest fight in the hack with his 6 damage and 20 HP.
Nice vid! Cool mod, I'll have to check it out, maybe not on super hard settings though, haha.
