  • Hi folks, I’m sharing a new EDC fixed blade knife. This is the 2016 version of the Bark River Bravo Necker II. The specs and details are listed below. Enjoy.
Bark River Bravo Necker II - Black Canvas Micarta with Mosaic Pins and Red Liners - 2016 version
    Specs
Overall Length: 7 inches or 17.8 cm
Blade Length: 3.5 inches or 8.9 cm
    Blade Steel: CPM154 steel @ 58-60RC
Blade Thickness: .130 inches or 3.3 mm
    Grind: Convex
Advertised Weight: 2.45 ounces or 70 grams
Actual Weight: 3.4 ounces or 97 grams
Sheath: Magnetic neck carry leather sheath with belt loop option (2.3 ounces or 65 grams)
The Bravo Necker II is a robust EDC fixed blade. It is well built and more refined than the older version. It is also more comfortable.
I prefer the Bravo Necker II Leather Sheath (Spine-Lok design) from KSF. This sheath can be used for belt carry, but it also has gourmet holes to allow for a neck carry option. It has a thumb break release snap and a loop to hold a 3” x 3/16” Ferro-rod.
Blank Ferro-rods can be found at Going Gear.
Kydex sheaths are also available for the 2016 version of the Bravo Necker II in CPM154. They can be found at DLT Trading for $23.95. The optional Tek-Lok attachment is $10.95 extra for a total of $34.90 USD.

Great reviews. You strike a good balance between description, suggestion and personal opinion without BS. You should have more subs!

Say Heah, I see alot of variation of the Bravo. But I guess I'm just old school. I just love my Bravo 2 with ramp. Infact I have them in A2 and 3V. I teamed my H-1. I. M-43 Khukuri with several small knives like my Mora Garberg and a few others. But my Fav. is my 3V black G-10 Handles. A Outstanding Combo. At most I pocket carry my Cold Steel Black Rhino. A sort of different Nessmuk Trio. Yeah I call my Khukuri The Beast with a great complimenting Bravo 1. Adding my Black Rhino for task specific tasks.,,. p

Nice video. Just thought I'd let you know that someone is selling one of those old sheaths on Ebay right now for 20 bucks. 7 days left.

Thanks for the video on this knife. I have older version and it's my favorite camp knife. I really like the changes for 2016.

Hi, I have a few EDC fixed blade knives that I prefer, the Featherweight Fox River, Mini Aurora and Ultra Lite Bushcrafter. Respectfully

Hi, the total length of the knife seated inside the magnetic sheath is about 7 ¾ inches. The black handle sticks out 2 ½ inches. Respectfully
