i correction: cpm154 isn't the toughest stainless. it may be the toughest powdered metal stainless, but the toughest of the ones that still hold a good edge is AEB-L (aka 13C26), and probably its offspring (like NitroV etc)
I kinda wish you had used .125" blade stock though, as with the almost continuous belly it looks much like a Bushcrafting knife along the lines of Skookum Bush Tool. (save for a slightly upward tip) The steel choice is a good one too, as I've been very happy with my Zero Tolerance ZT 0200 folder in that steel , and even more so when I removed the thumbstud and enlarged the hole to more spyderco sized dimentions for opening. The recurve was also removed, for a fine field knife,... or in my case my "Under the Pillow" Intruder Surprise! 🙂
Lol I love Mike's sarcasm. I am not a big fan of the sheath but I will be picking one of these up along with one of its bigger brother in the near future.
I'm not about pretty knives I use mine and yes I beat the hell out of them batoning down wood to make fires .I like full tang thick blades for that reason .people ask me why not use a hatchet and I do but there are times a knife is better for processing it down to smaller tinder. This knife looks like it may hold up to that type of use. I also have found for me a skandi grind works very well for batoning wood. Yous do make quality knives I must say
it is a pity that the blade is so ridiculously small for a tanto ! just 9,2 cm!!! if at least it had something of a few cm more! smaller than the beautiful shinigami tanto ...otherwise such a beautiful knife...too bad
I realize this is a four year old video, but just wanted to ask Mike if he’s done anything to address his absolutely horrible and abysmal quality control issues.
👍 I purchased one. It is a great knife. It is in dark amber stag scales with mosaic pins and red liners, which means it is mine!
I got one in natural canvas. I love this knife!
Cannot wait for my pre-order!
I love CPM 154. Cannot wait for my 2 preorders. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Kitsune means letter opener in Japanese.

Get state laws changed and a new run might be longer.

I just got a Kitsune from the latest run and it’s flawless. My last Bravo had issues but they fixed them for me.
