I don't know if anyone has said it yet, but this is by far the best IMSA channel on youtube. Keep it up!
Additional: I'm glad I made it to one race last year and seen the Mclaren and NSX before they retired. Overall the grid is still great, kinda crazy there aren't more Porsches though.
In 2023 when Corvette Racing had the class win at Le Mans, they had the trophy with them at the IMSA race at Road America. It was on display during the grid walk. That was cool to get to see up close!
Let's go corvette!!
I think in the future the GTD pro class should have a lighter restrictor plate closer to numbers of the GTLM
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe restrictor plates are now a thing of the past with IMSA and WEC implementing torque sensors and control units that restrict engine output electronically
GO PORSCHE !!!!
I feel like those torque sensors cross a line. If IMSA wants to be that picky about balancing the cars, they should just make it a one make series and throw the whole balance thing out the window.
Don’t you already have this video posted
I do! But I typically come back and update it each year as things change in the class! The old ones are likely to be unlisted in the next couple of days so it's only these up to date ones!
So did McLaren totally back out of IMSA? Kinda like how Lamborghini is totally backing out of WEC, what is Pfaf Motorsports running this year then?
There is a single McLaren on the Michelin Pilot Challenge grid this year and that is it. To me that points to more of a support issue than it is the manufacturer pulling out of IMSA. Pfaff is running a Lambo in GTD PRO this year!
@offintheesses oh, i don't watch the Pilot Challenge, just WEC and the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship
