I hope that Roman De Angelis gets a ride in that incredible Aston GTP. I’ve been following his career from the beginning. He’s so incredibly talented ( like so many of the IMSA drivers ) but I believe that he’s a perfect fit for the Aston Martin program. Lamborghini leaving the WEC can only be a positive for IMSA. It sure would be awesome to have one or even two Lamborghini teams full time in IMSA. The 2025 season is gonna be insane. Peace !
Sorry I may have not been 100% clear! The team was shutting down the idea of a manufacturer change, not the legitimacy of their title! I'll make sure I'm more clear in the future!
Lamborghini is completely backing out of WEC, including the GT3 entries, but as far as im aware Lamborghini will stil be a part of IMSA including both the GTP and GT3 entries, looking at their performance this year they clearly performed much better in IMSA, so maybe they want to put 100% focus into IMSA to increase their chances for success, who knows, theres a lot more politics and corruption within the FIA vs IMSA, manufacturers like Ferrari and Toyota could be paying the FIA for more favorable BoP
Lamborghini is pulling out of WEC because the car is compromised in its current state and they can't afford to both give the car the development it needs and run a second entry which is mandated by WEC regulations in 2025. They actually had extremely generous BoP, pretty much running at the minimum weight and max power allowed by the regs all year, they just couldn't take advantage of it because as I said, the car is compromised (they had a big testing accident last year and had to rush the homologation before the car was ready). As for your comment of Ferrari and Toyota ''paying for favorable BoP'', that's complete nonsense, BoP tables are publically available for every round and they both had the worst BoP all year, Toyota in particular was always the heaviest car. Maybe try to actually inform yourself before talking out of your ass 🤡
Tbf the toyota is on the heavier side regardless. But yeah i wouldnt go saying FIA is outright rigging or anything, their BoP does seem to be a bit wonkier, mostly in gtd/gt3 tho. They do a good job with gtp, i saw the Lamborghini run at sebring, it is a beautiful piece of shit, way off pace @freyala024
Bro I don’t suppose you have anything other that an idea you conjured up in your mind that shows Toyota and Ferrari paying off the fia?? Jesus dude. If you were as smart as you think you you’d realize Lamborghini had a very generous bop for the regulations.
Nope, Lamborghini has realized how corrupt and political the FIA and WEC have become, for all we know bigger manufacturers like Ferrari, Porsche and Toyota could be paying the FIA for more favorable BoP, WEC and IMSA have different BoP, which is why we always see the same teams and cars winning WEC races but IMSA has way more competition within their GTP class, the point of BoP is to create more competition on track, not competition between manufacturers to see who can sign the biggest check, why are European based motorsports always so much more political
What exactly are you talking about? Toyota, Ferrari, and Porsche have continuously negative BOP ratings; they are always the heaviest and least powerful throughout the WEC season. The reason those cars outperform their competitors is because they are so good at working their cars to adjust to unfavorable BOP ratings. Even with a good BoP, Lamborghini's SC63 lacks the speed to keep up with its competitors; the car simply sucks.
@@mathewhosier9739Lamborghini weren't doing great despite what you might believe with their unreliable cars and as of now, lack of funding and i fear that's a hard pill to swallow for you
iron lynx funded(whether partially or fully, idk) the sc63; lambo delivered it badly, now their relationship has been tainted and the lynx is likely to make a switch to another manufacturer next year.
@mathewhosier9739 if that were the case then why weren't BMW alpine cadi etc more competitive with far better bop than any of the 3 u mentioned had hell alpine (first year with a car built to hypercar reg)finished ahead of both cadi & BMW who were in there second years with there cars
That Aston GTP is beautiful wow
So nice! Really hope we will see it at the Rolex and they don't go with a Sebring debut!
I’m very happy seeing another manufacturer joining the GTP grid.. even happier that iRacing might add it to the sim soon !

That Valkyrie is going to be exciting to watch
Definitely!
I can not imagine AO racing without a Porsche in the GTD Pro category.
Id LOVE to see another SC63, hobestly wish Iron Dames wouldve taken over one, but either a second Lamborghini or second Aston Martin would be so sick!
4:47 Are people saying that their championship is not legitimate? why?
Yeah, WHY?
I think he was talking about the legitimacy of the rumors around what car they would be racing, not their championship. It was a bit of word salad.

Is that a Peugeot that you have in the background, with functional headlights? 1/8 scale?
It sure is!!! It's the Lego Peugeot with the Light my Brinks lighting kit in it!
My single biggest question: WILL THE VALKYRIE KEEP RACE WITH MUFFLERS OR NOT? lol
The REAL question here: “Is Pfaff Motorsports hiring Bryan as their full time mascot?” 🤔😂
At this point I don't think Bryan will take no for an answer!!!
@ 100% agree mate 😂 btw. Thanks for the video!!

I really hope Lambo will stay with Iron Lynx. I still wanna hear the amazing V10 of the Huracàn at Le Mans

wait, MCLAREN IS DESIGNING A HYPERCAR??? HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS?
I think its more of a tentative thing, but isnt that cool af? Imagine if we get Genesis AND Mclaren in IMSA for 2026!!
Yes definitely not confirmed yet! Dailysportscar has some good articles on it!
