- This Hour Has 22 Minutes pays homage to the popular 100 Years of Beauty videos with its own entry, featuring star Susan Kent modelling hair, make-up and fashion looks from the last 100 years or so. The difference? It's FREEZING OUTSIDE.
This Hour Has 22 Minutes airs every Tuesday at 8:30pm (9:00NT) on CBC.

I know. The butthurt is strong. YES, we have summer! We also have intense winters where we have to bury ourselves in snow gear for a few months, covering up any primping efforts with layers of woolens and such. It's unfortunate, and annoying, and something we can poke fun at without getting our panties in a bunch, because it's just a silly stereotype which isn't, like, oppressive or anything. Sheesh.

This is on CBC Comedy. I'm confused why so many folks expected this to be one of those straightforward beauty history videos.
I feel like most of the people commenting here have no idea what 22 Minutes is.... Of course it's going to be a satire of the "100 years of.." videos and not a serious video about Canadian fashions! As both a vintage wearer and a Canadian I thought it was hilarious. I'll probably be copying many of those looks this winter!

I know this is a joke but my grandmother has a bunch of old family pictures (some as old as 1880's!) of my great-grandmother, my grandmother herself, and of course my mom, and they rocked all these looks in winters. :P My gm in the 60's looked exactly like theirs. :P

I lived in Chicago for 4 years, and now I live in St. Catherines (ontario) and honestly I find it way more warm here then in Chicago just saying. also I've been to Disney world (Florida), and yeah its warm but summers in Canada are 100 times warmer. (where I lived; nova Scotia and Ontario)
